Then the garage door wouldn't close in the middle of the afternoon. This happened over and over again, around 2pm or 3pm, but never any other time. I asked him to come out and look at it in the afternoon. He called and said he was coming earlier and made me feel like an idiot for suggesting that he wait until the afternoon, when it happens. When he came, he tested a couple of things, charged me $85 and left with the garage door still not working in the afternoons. When my husband told him to come out in the afternoon to look at it, he said, "There's no way I'm coming out there at that time." Don't bother with this guy. He's annoying on a good day when your door is easy to fix. But if things are going well, he'll blame it on something else and then charge you for it.

I had already taken the day off work, and the new opener was a birthday present for my Husband. I called Travis to get a quote and start the process all over again. He was super nice about the whole thing and did a great job! We are very appreciative to Travis for his superior customer service and technical skills.

I wanted real. As a Realtor, I'm careful about who I refer to my clients, and I would confidently recommend Pro Garage & Gates. Austin is professional, responsive, honest, grounded/down to earth, and the quality of work speaks for itself. He made the process smooth from start to finish and communicated clearly throughout. It's hard to find people who are both skilled and dependable, and he definitely is. As a final note, his price was fair and more affordable than the other quotes, as well as an improved customer service experience than the other companies bidding for the job. Thanks Austin!!

The owner, Devin listened to my concerns and scheduled an appointment for service. Aaron was out the next day. He arrived promptly and was very kind and professional. He did a full safety check, reviewed the other company's work, and told me what was actually wrong with the door. Their pricing was less than half of what the first company quoted. More importantly, I trusted I was getting an honest answer! Aaron set an appointment to fix the issue, arrived on time and had the work done in less than an hour. The door is working great now! I will absolutely use GDG again and will be requesting Aaron.

It was initially explained from Mike that the labor to install the new panel was included after I questioned the pricing on what was charged. Also what type of business would try to insult someone's personal intelligence at all let alone post it publicly. Shows the true colors of a person when they go to this level. Keep pricing transparent fair and consistent and you won't have future opportunities. I would recommend to others to ensure you know what you are going to be charged upfront as they stated they would do and did not happen. Once again technicians that came out were great with no issues with the work. UPDATE: True colors of an individual come out as seen in the review. Business owner Mike thinks he can take a bully approach to solve his problems. What comes goes around definitely comes around. Others beware the approach this business takes on taking care of its customers and their surprise billing practices. I will not be responding going forward on Mike's responses as all can make decisions based off what has been submitted and owner's response. Opportunities happen in business and it all depends how you handle them and how you treat your customers. Have a good day! :)

He spent much of the morning pounding it back to shape, and added reinforcements. It looks fine now, though still creaky on opening. I'd expected that JT would take some responsibility, since Jason had done the installation. Nope. Steve attributed it to my garage "sinking", though there is otherwise zero evidence of this, no cracks in the foundation, and my house has been stable since about 1982. I was charged $270 for the work. My last garage doors lasted over 20 years without problems. Overall, JT seems to do basically competent work, but doesn't take ownership of downstream problems which they are responsible for. Based upon this experience I am lowering my rating to 3 stars, and I am feeling that is probably generous.
