I will also say that another potential customer had also messaged me that was in the office when the event happened, he shared that he along with three other potential customers all walked out and he had also spoke to the owner. I cannot confirm or deny that the employee in question was actually terminated, but as much as I feel sorry for the guy, a front desk service position is NOT for him. Try them out at your own risk!

A day later noticed oil on my driveway. I have no vehicles with oil leaks and never had oil on my driveway. I had checked the oil dipstick yesterday and it looked high but with the oil leaking into my driveway, took it back and told them this was unacceptable. Overfilling oil can damage the engine seals, catalytic converter and other parts of the emission system. They seem to hire individuals and then don't do appropriate training. They either didn't properly secure the drain plug and use a washer or the filter. Plus they overfilled. They said the overfill was collecting in the engine compartment. I will monitor the car and if it sustains damage to the engine or emissions system, they will be responsible for the damage they have caused. I can't recommend them. Oil changes are not brain surgery. It requires a competent ownership and management hiring qualified employees and training them how to do the work. Even though an oil change isn't hard, it has to be done properly. Oh, the guy who did the oil change who clearly wasn't qualified also told me it needed an new engine air filter and cabin air filter. He quoted me a price to which I agreed and when the bill was presented, it was $20 higher. Attention to detail and an ownership who takes ownership and responsibility are what sets 5 star businesses apart from 1-2 star operations. This place is clearly a 2 star operation.

I was able to get in and out of here in less than 15 minutes. There was no other car waiting and I went in at about 2 PM. I was also able to have a really good conversation with him afterwards about business, marketing , advertising and a host of other things. He is a great guy and I'm thankful to have him in our neighborhood. This is a single stall operation so if you come on a busy day, please be patient. My service cost me $79 out the door with taxes and any other kind of fees included, there is an option to pay cash to save about four or five dollars. This is a convenient location right across from the Chevron gas station just off of Highway 4. I hope we can drive more business here to support him. One option for improvement is that I saw there's a tire pressure check that could be performed but wasn't. I think this is an easy service to provide and could help with gas mileage in some cases.
