This place is connected to a hotel in the original part of Creston quite a ways from our hotel on the edge of town. It's well worth the drive with plenty of parking on the street and close by. It's not a quiet place, being a pub, but doubly so when the Jays are playing the Yankees in the ALDS up two nothing and 12 runs having been scored in the first four innings. If you're looking for peace and quiet go elsewhere. It's an interesting place, with plenty of charisma. The staff writer as great, helpful and accommodating of perhaps a little prone to tending the tables instead of us at the bar. That said we didn't feel neglected at all even though we were left pretty much alone after our food was dropped. My chicken souvlaki was quite good, with big chunks of chicken breast that was very nicely cooked, not dry at all, not easy to accomplish. The potato and rice pilaf was also very good, as was the tzatziki and the pita. Solid meal! The lovely K had the Veggie Alfredo with Caesar salad and garlic bread which was plentiful, piping hot and tasty. The salad we shared was shaved romaine with diced red onion, dill and apple cider vinaigrette. It didn't sound good to me, but we ordered it anyway, and it was really good. Very odd pub- 90 % of the customers appeared to be over 70. And more kept coming in! Had to fight to have the sound on the Jays game as they said they said the other customers wouldn't like - but I figured they probably couldn't hear it lol! They did turn it on. There was a weird smell in the pub like something trying to cover something up - same as in our room in the hotel . There were also a lot of flies in the pub landing on customers and the food. Drinks were average . You would think a rotating cider on tap would be better than Okanagan Springs. Revolving waitresses. Ordered a pizza that was supposed to have mushrooms blue cheese and bacon but just tasted like mush . We pulled into the back, thinking that we would enjoy the raised patio. Then we read the reviews and almost went somewhere else. But the food was right decent. Jimmy's was founded by two Greek fellas Jimmy and Dimitri. So if you go, try the Greek cuisine. The waitress was perfectly fine. Service was good. She recommended the chicken wings and I have my doubts she ever has actually tried them. (Pops asked her what her favorite was and she said "let me see what the flavors are...") Stayed at the hotel and ordered food to go. Ordered 3 items and 2 were wrong. Asked for baked shrimp Alfredo got the lasagna. Asked for mango habanero chicken wings got a Cajun dry rub instead. However both were decently tasty. The shrimp in the Alfredo were tiny and overly salty, but I still liked it. The entree salad is a bit sad and chicken a little dry. Side salad with the honey vinaigrette was good though. Being one of few food option in town on a Sunday night at 8 it was convenient and decent. read more

Pretty average restaurant I avoided burgers because of the earlier reviews. I had a chicken Caesar wrap which was pretty good. Poutines did not have the classic cheese curds made like they do on the eastern side of Canada. read more

We ate on the patio last night, and had fantastic service! Our server made some great recommendations and made sure our glasses were never empty. The steak sandwich was done to perfection, the Caesar salad was amazing, and the fries were absolutely perfect. The personal pizza was hot, had a perfect crust and was very tasty. For a consistently great steak sandwich, Jimmy's is a pub to visit in Creston. Another hit that has always been tasty is their Mediterranean Salad. The menu is varied and the staff are knowledgeable about each offering and helpful in making suggestions. They're accommodating in special requests and substitutions. If the weather is chilly, we usually sit inside, however, if nice out, their patio is enjoyable sitting in the shade of the cherry, apple and nut trees. The service has been fast and friendly every time we've visited. If one server is tied up, another is close at hand ready to fulfill a request. It's a great place to go for just a cool drink or a full meal. Being just across from the local theatre makes it an ideal spot to do dinner and a show and to promote this, they do offer a dine & show special. read more

Terrible food, ignorant staff. Ordered a burger yesterday, it was the most disgusting burger I have ever had. It was full of little white pieces of bone the texture was gross. I still feel gross today from eating it. The girl who took my order seemed like I was bothering her. We arrived in town and our hotel told us about Jimmy's Pub. We ordered food and then picked it up. It was so good and the server who gave it to me, was so nice and made sure we had enough condiments and napkins etc. The food was delicious. Bad pub food. Chicken wings soggy, I think it was microwaved. If you're all about price, it's cheap. If you want food that doesn't taste like crap than this is not a good choice. My ribeye was like leather, no care into detail. Bad food and a bad hotel that it is part of. read more

First went there on a Monday for Pizza night. Although pizza is not on the menu, they make very good pizza for a great price, $8.95 at the time we went for either Greek, Pepperoni or Hawaiian. Our second trip was Wednesday for Pasta night, $9.95 for your choice of their pastas from the menu. We both had lasagna. They came with salad and garlic toast, very tasty. Went here for dinner and it was quite busy but it took no time for the waitress to have us seated drinks ordered and food right after and the food came with not much of a wait either I was very impressed!
