We were passing through town with six adults and six kiddos on our way camping. Fortunately The Columbia Brewery recommended this gem. We loved the large bar stool table where the adults sat at one end and the kids at the other end, but still close to us. The waitress was professional, attentive and accommodating to our large group. The chicken strips for the kids were a hit. The burgers, chicken sandwiches and caesar salad were perfect. We ended up stopping again on our way back home to Idaho and were once again greeted by Tanya the owner and she treated our kids to pink frozen lemonade, on the house and popcorn while they waited for lunch! We were all very impressed and look forward to visiting Creston again and this wonderful establishment. I highly recommend stopping by anytime you are in town. Thank you Tanya!!

Grilled chicken, brie, and caramelized onions sandwich with truffle fries...delicious!

Marzano clearly puts intention behind what they do, drawing inspiration from traditional Neapolitan techniques and a focus on high-quality, simple ingredients, and that care shows up on the menu. From an accessibility standpoint, this was one of the easier Italian meals I've had while eating GF. Gluten-free options were clearly labeled, including modification notes, which made ordering straightforward. Nearly all pizzas and pastas could be made gluten free, aside from specialty pastas like the gnocchi and lasagna. They also had a gluten-free focaccia available as an appetizer, which had an excellent texture. The appetizers were a standout. We shared the gnocchi and burrata and both were delicious. Pizza got great feedback from the table overall, though a couple slices were slightly undercooked in the center and flopped when picked up. I ordered the sirloin, which was okay, though not my favorite part of the meal. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and thoughtful, offering a soup sample to our 90-year-old guest who was unsure about the daily option, and kindly helped wrangle us for a group photo during a busy dinner hour, which I really appreciated. The interior is gorgeous--modern, warm, and very well maintained. Even though Marzano opened in 2018, it feels much newer. I debated between a 4 and 5 star review due to my entrée and the pizza texture, but the intention is clearly there, and the overall experience was strong. I'd absolutely come back and would love to try more of the menu next time.

We were brought the wrong drinks at first, then they were out of the wine I had ordered. This is not at fault of the staff, I was offered a different wine on the menu, more expensive and was charged the higher price; they should have honored the original price of the wine I initially ordered. The vibe is unique and different, something I always appreciate. Try the burgers, my husband said it's the best he has ever had.

The boards were delicious and we were grateful that the amount of bread matched up nearly perfectly with the amount of meats and cheeses in front of us, everything tasted great, especially the little onions (and I'm not even a big fan of onions). The drinks were completely magical, taste and presentation was outstanding. One of the things I appreciated most is that they put the same effort and creativity into their zero proof potions as they do their alcoholic elixers, if you're a non alcoholic drinker but like the cocktail experience this place should definitely be on your list! The service was very good, everyone here seemed to really enjoy being here.

The atmosphere in the room was nice, although slightly loud. I started by ordering a bottle of wine, which was great. The menu had four choices for the starter, I choice the shrimp cocktail with bang-bang sauce. It was tasty. The next course was a shared charcuterie board. It was fun to share the food. At some point a server came to either drop something off or pick something up, but without asking started to empty the wine into our glasses. This is bad etiquette for a server to touch anything on the table without asking. The third course was the main, I opted to upgrade the steak to a filet and add peppercorn sauce. When the main came out I tried the steak and it was way to salty, and I like salt. So, decision time, do I say something and disrupt our whole experience or suck it up. I decided to suck it up for the sake of the evening. My partners food was mostly fine. She had the lamb shank. The veg for both meals was the same. Some oven roasted root veg plus some sqash and zucchini. The root veg was raw, so we did say something about that. The waitress was very helpful and brought out more veg ten mins after we were finished the main. The same problem persisted, though, uncooked root veg. We shared a tarmisu for dessert. The experience was disappointing because we held this restaurant in a high regard. There reputation will be downgraded, in my eyes, to cause me to think twice befor recommending Louie's Steakhouse for food.

I ordered the smoked meats sampler platter just under 30 bucks and my friend ordered a pizza. The place was slow and only had one other table. The bartender was very nice and friendly but it did take a long time to get our simple drinks. Two highballs one vodka and one gin with basic mixers.. and no one else was at the bar. We ordered our food and began waiting. Walked around the place to see what it's all about and it was pretty cool. Some simulated golf games, electronic darts and several gambling machines. Very clean place and nice staff. But then the food came out... or at least my food came out. My friends pizza got burnt and they had to start over.. did I mention that there was only one other table in the restaurant and they were through eating? Anyway back to my $30 Smoked meat platter....it came out on a wooden platter and since I ordered a salad it was just a really big piece of round wood with the meat on it. Zero points for presentation! Then I tried it naked (no sauce) as I wanted to it as is and even if I wanted sauce there wasn't any on the plate. Well I dive in and ....dry as a desert. All of it! ( except for the sausage.) The brisket not one tiny sign of freshly smoked and cut juicy brisket (like you should expect) the pulled pork was also super dry and tough as hell. I had to ask for a steak knife..This pork did not pull apart even a little bit. The worst and most insulting was the smoked chicken... it was cut into SUPER TINY little cubes!! Tiny like it was going to be recycled into chicken salad or chicken tacos! No they didn't just literally sell me a whole platter of YESTERDAYS smoked meats to keep their food cost down!!! It was absolutely the worst's BBQ I have ever had in my entire life! All except the smoked sausage. That was decent okay it was slightly better than decent but not terrific. I sincerely wanted to say something but both of the owners were behind the bar and there is no way that they didn't see this tragic example of their pride and joy the smoked meat platter on the bar, looking disgusting and they did not seem to care. I saw them look at it and yet they said nothing. This wasn't something that you had to taste to know it was dry and I'm sure that they've tried their product enough that they knew what was happening. I don't think the kitchen made the decision to chop up that chicken and little cubes and put it on the plate without being told by the owners to do, it so it was pointless for me to complain. I don't think I would just give it a one star review if the owners had not been there and saw what happened. They also knew the pizza got burnt and came out way late and they never apologized or said a word of acknowledgment to this poor showing. They seriously need to get it together. They have the makings of what could be a fun and great establishment. The staff is really nice and tries. This is 100% the owners bad judgement calls. Hope they do better in the future.
