It turned out that my hair had build up from previous colours, this my hairdresser figured out, once I had the treatment to correct this I was amazed at how soft my hair felt, it felt like my hair again, something I hadn't experienced for years! They also have a killer referral and frequent customer program. If you refer someone to your stylist, they'll save $20 on the first cut and you'll save $20 on your next cut. And, as a regular, every 5th cut is free! There are a good range of products for sale here, but there is never pressure to purchase, which I always appreciate. My stylist, Allister, was very friendly and quickly put me at ease. I showed him some pictures of the side-pony style that I had in mind and he completely exceeded my expectations. The style that he created was far more intricate and beautiful than I ever could have ever imagined and looked great from all angles! What's even better is that it lasted all day long. It still looked perfect after hours on the dance floor that evening. I really wish that he lived in Toronto as Kingston is an awfully long way to go for a good stylist! This was the worst sugaring experience I ever had in my life. First time doing Brazilian in Canada…read moreand ended up BLEEDING on my most sensitive spot. I had an appointment with Sara. When I came in and undressed she didn't even sanitize the zone before applying sugar paste and went straight to the point. She was going in very quickly applying huge chunks of paste, ripping it on and not even putting a hand on the zone to calm down the pain. The whole Brazilian took her about 15 minutes and after extreme pain she said that I was done and gave me a rag to wipe the rest of the sugar. I was shocked that she didn't offer me any gel or cream after to calm down the area and when I wiped it, it was bleeding!!! In pain and in complete shock I went downstairs to tell this to receptionist on which I received an answer that it is completely normal because my hair follicles got pulled off but I NEVER had this effect back in Ukraine. Now I am in complete pain and they didn't offer me any solutions except "come back and try our laser package, it's much quicker and so convenient ". I paid 50 dollars for this....
