I bought one of those fundraiser cards where you pay up front and you can go in once/month for 12 months, to pick up a flower bouquet. A couple times throughout the year or so I've been doing this, I've opened up the flowers once I get home and there are moldy flowers in the bunch. So frustrating! I called ahead last month to have them put those "free" flowers into a vase along with some other flowers (additional cost) to make a prettier bouquet to give to a special friend. Once I got there to pick the flowers up and pay, some of the filler flowers from the "free" bunch looked wilted and not pretty enough to gift to my friend. I explained this to Tabitha who offered to replace those sad looking flowers for other flowers of the same cost. She brought two different options up front to show me, I chose one, and she replaced those flowers to make it a giftable bunch. I'd definitely give Tabitha 5 stars but this review is only 4 stars because this situation has happened a few times now and obviously hasn't been resolved. I might not be purchasing another fundraiser card like this in the future. read more

I arranged with Martin at the Ogden store to make an arrangement for outdoors for my husband's childhood sled which is about 70 years old. This was about the middle of October and when I asked for it by Thanksgiving he said he would do his best but was committed already to 150 Christmas trees. I picked it up on Nov 9 and am absolutely in love with Martin's creation. He also made two "swags" to use by my front door and everything looks WONDERFUL. Ordered flowers for a funeral and paid over $100. I could not attend the funeral and specifically requested a Picture of them be taken and texted to me before delivery. I was assured it would happen. Day of the funeral I had not received a picture. I called and as I feared they sent them out without full filling my basic request for a photo. I'll look for a different florist next time. read more

Avoid buying flowers here save your money and spend it somewhere else, there's plenty of other places in Utah with better customer service. The older lady in the front desk snatched the card out of my hand. And before that when she was telling me the price, she looked at me like if I couldn't even afford it. Like every other man, I sometimes get myself in the dog house. And when I do, the folks at Jimmy's are always there to help me bail myself out. The have the freshest selection of cut flowers in the area and their arrangements are second to none. A few of my favorite things about Jimmy's: 1.) They keep my info on file. I can call and give my name and they know what my wife likes, where I want them to go, and how to bill me. 2.) Funeral arrangements look like funeral arrangements and a spring mix looks like a spring mix. They "get it" when it comes to placing colorful things in a glass vase and having it mean something. Nothing is worse than not having flowers that match the occasion. 3.) They take vases back. They will knock a few bucks off if you can sneak one of the umpteen vases off the shelf that your wife is collecting. 4.) Timing. They seem to have it. I can call the day before Valentine's and get what I want, not what is left over. Delivery is extremely timely as well. I highly encourage the use of Jimmy's. Girls seem to like flowers and Jimmy's seems to like getting them to those girls. read more

Im really disappointed in this flower shop. I live in Atlanta and called to order flowers for my grandmother's 73rd bday. Jimmys has been around forever so I figured it was a safe bet. I went online and found some flowers I really liked which was 49.95 and asked if they could do a $40 version because delivery is like $12. I figured $9 would be maybe a rose or two removed maybe a lilly, I was very wrong. They told me they would send a picture before they delivered which they didn't, I see why. My mother sent me a picture and they put one little sprig of blue and ur almost looks dead. The roses and lilies are pretty but still the arrangement is not vibrant like the website AT ALL. My best friend in the world just had her second baby after 11 years since her oldest was born. So y'all about a blessing and super scary time for her! It's all new again! I live about a thousand miles away now, unfortunately! I wasn't able to make it for the delivery, and I was immediately referred to this specific location, the hospital gift shop at McKay said they are the best if the best!! I HANDS DOWN AGREE!! I called them and the gal, Melissa, was SO nice and helpful, she was friendly and had great ideas! She was even talking to another lady there and they were throwing out ideas and products that weren't yet online!! I love that! THEN, as if they hadn't been nice enough, she offered to text me a picture (AND SHE DID) so that my friend wouldn't need to be bothered sending me a picture!! So a year ago I bought this 1 year of flowers card from the cheer Kats for $30 as a fund raiser, I should have just gave the group the money instead. I go in today on Valentine's day to use it for my Feb month and they tell me I can't use it today. No where on the card does it have blackout days. We went to Jimmy's in Ogden recently to order funeral flowers for my grandmother. The customer service was so off putting we ended up leaving and going to Posy Place a few doors down. Jimmy's had multiple orders for the funeral from friends and family and they didn't deliver the flowers until the funeral service had ended. Posy Place was very interested in our order and kind about the passing of our loved one. The Posy Place flowers were beautiful and delivered on time. I have gone to the Layton Jimmy's on other occasions and they were very kind and helpful, but Ogden will no longer get our business. Very disappointing. read more

I've gotten the card three or four times now and I expect to have one that's not my favorite every once in awhile, but This time I've gotten the EXACT same blah bouquet three months in a row! Our family recently ordered a casket spray for my mom's casket. I picked it out online but then called to order it with a small change in the color of flowers. When I called, the woman I talked to was very nice and had great suggestions for how to include some pink color into an arrangement that was mainly purple and white. I have always ordered dance flowers for my daughter from Jimmy's flowers and have been very happy with them. The last dance of my daughters high school years, I forgot to order the flowers in advance. I called by 9am the morning of, and they said they had already cut off orders for dance flowers. How disappointing!!! After all the business I have given them, I get this! I don't know how long it takes to make a boutonniere, but not too long to lose business over, I would hope.
