It looks like original equipment. The car still runs like new and with this system upgrade, it looks and functions like a new car. Just to be fair, here is my side of the story........... Went to CKR last Thursday thinking I had to replace my radio. I called earlier that day and was advised by Justin to bring car by and they would look at it. Once there, I was told it was the antenna. Great! They did not have one. Justin then called O'Reilly in Wetumpka. They had one. I drove to Wetumpka to purchase complete, motorized, antenna, however, was not able to go back because I did not have enough time. So, my daughter called them to let Justin know I could not come back that day but will be there the next. I went back Friday morning after 10am (they actually had opened at 9am). Of course, the store had steady flow of customers. It came to a point that I asked and was agreed by Justin to make an appt to install the antenna and I also advised Justin that I needed speakers as well and he told me a price for standard speakers plus install of about $250.00. I then made an appt for TODAY at 8:30am. I showed up for my appt. Justin greeted those of us standing outside and then proceeded to ask me if I was dropping off my car or would wait. I then asked him how long will it be. Justin then proceeded to tell me that at 4:30pm yesterday afternoon, multiple customers wanted installs and that he had to "clear out" those customers first. I then stated that I had made an appt for TODAY. The he proceeded to say something and I cut him off and told him, "THAT'S OK!". I then turned around and got into my car and left the business. I don't want excuses being told to me. When I make an appt, it is with COMPLETE understanding that I am there at designated time to get service. It doesn't matter what a previous day's left overs are. If you don't honor appointments, then why set one up for a customer? I have a unique job that very few people do. I love my job and I am blessed by it. When I need to take care of personal business, I have to coordinate with others time. It's not a problem to do this. My time is precious just as your business is precious. So, I get a few truths from my whole experience with CKR AUTOMOTIVE/MOBILE PRODUCTS: 1. If you look up for a web site and once you click on the link and it says "SITE SUSPENDED" that is your first flag. 2. Observe the business interaction with customers. That can tell you A LOT. 3. Observe the employees. That can tell you A LOT as well. 4. If you have A LOT of time to waste, then this business is for you. The process to install took around an hour or so. Pretty happy with the customer service and the install. (I didn't drive my truck the next week because I was in the field so less than a 100mi driven) After a week, I was driving with my fiancé to a buddies house and my cruise control didn't shut off. I pulled in to my buddies and had a bite to eat. After the night was finished, we got in my truck to leave and my truck didn't out of park. I unplugged the battery to see in there was a computer system problem but no luck. After further investigation and tapping on the brakes to see if the broke lights came on the pedal dropped to the floor. I looked down at the pedal and it had completely came off the brake rod. I assembled the brake pedal together but there was no retaining pin. I looked around for it and no luck. (I was a certified break mechanic back before the army) I had to buy the pin but it was stuck at my buddies house for a few days. I called the shop and asked about their process. They assured me that they didn't take the system apart. I won't play the blame game. Just remember to look over all work done on your vehicle. This could have been a life and death situation with not having brakes. Luckily it wasn't for my fiancé and me. The dash was disassembled to make the process faster and I saw a review how a customer gotten her dash cracked. (I am very tight on time) I didn't work on the remote before going there and remote start was brand new. The vehicle has been inspected every year. by a certified mechanic. Response was unprofessional and delusionary.

He waited two weeks before contacting them and they told him it wasn't ready, it actually hadn't been started but sold him another box to see if he liked it and if he didn't, return it. Of course, he didn't like it so he called them and told them he didn't like it and I would be returning it to them. I get to the office and they proceed to tell me they don't have $300 to return since he paid cash and the could mail a check or I could come back and get it. I did refrain from turning their shop upside down and definitely being a crash out on East Alabama news because I drove over an hour to take a box back and you want me t come back tomorrow or mail a check ... you playing with my time and my money! Ain't no way they think it's cool to play people like this! Did not have a positive experience at all and end up incurring additional cost to repair damage…read morecaused by this individual. It became clear that he was inexperienced installation and careless in his service. Also showed no remorse and failed to assume responsibility for any of his actions. Specifically: 1) He was over 30 minutes late and didn't bother to notify me that he would be late for the appointment. When I reached out to himX that's when I learned that he'd be late. Did t even bother to apologize for lack of consideration of my time. 2) He initially installed the back up camera upside down and tried to first tell me that is the way the camera should be until I insisted something was wrong. He then realized the camera was installed incorrectly AFTER he had already drilled holes into the frame to mount the camera. He then had to change the location with new drilled holes. 3) when installed the radio, he didn't flush the radio and again tried to explain that it was installed correctly, only to have to redo the setting of the radio correctly. 4) Failed to reconnect the radio antenna causing him to come back and connect the antenna. 5) Literally broke the dash console when prying it up to reconnect the wires to the radio. As I am sitting right there, I witness him break the console but he denied doing so and said it was like that prior to him working on the job. This was clearly dishonest and I know my truck and knew it had not been broken and that I had witnessed first hand him breaking the console. I had to purchase a whole new console which cost me money. 6) failed to reset airbag light after he removed the console and claimed that the airbag light was on before he started working on the vehicle. Again, this was NOT true. Because of the above and lack of ANY responsibility for anything, I wouldn't recommend him for anything.
