The weather was great, it's a community favorite hot spot and I'm glad it's here to stay. This is located right on Courthouse Rd, in the shopping center with other businesses such as Big Lots, Starbucks, China Wok and Laurita's Chicken. There's of plenty parking. They accept cash as well as credit card. They offer unique flavors for your choice of ice cream, shakes, malts, cones, sundaes and floats. I got the apple pie ice cream on a cone and also the amaretto ice cream in à cup. Both were smooth, creamy and delicious. The entire staff has great team work, positive energy and great customer service. They also have another location in Dumfries on Main St. I can't wait to make another visit to try other flavors on their menu. read more

There is a local buzz around this place that I understood once I got my order filled and I sat down to eat. I had Jimmy's chocolate mambo with heath bars as a mix in. I had no idea what to expect because there's no hard pack at this shop, only soft serve. The results were perfection. The portion size for the small was pretty large. The cost was very reasonable, but I come from NY, so there's only that. This road trip location will stay in the rotation for years to come! read more

Jimmy T's Soft Serve - Beautiful day traveling finished up with great frosty treat! - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Fredericksburg, Virginia

This place never disappoints. The prices seem to go up . But that's everything now a days .lots of options to choose from. It's really a great place read more

We were supposed to be on a mission. Custard. From Carl's. That was the plan. But fate had other plans and her name was Jimmy T's. The line at Carl's was wrapped around the building like it was giving away free rent, so my fiancé said, "Let's find something else." Yelp pointed us to Jimmy T's and let me tell you... it didn't just deliver it showed out. Now let me paint the picture. I've had custard. I've had soft serve. But cake batter soft serve custard? That was a first. I took one bite and literally had to sit with myself for a second like... what is this magic? It was sweet, cold, creamy, and nostalgic like my childhood got scooped into a cup, spun through a mixer, and blessed by dessert angels. My fiancé got the brownie sundae. And here's how you know it was good... we live 45 minutes away, and she said she'll drive back just to get it again. On a weekday. In traffic. On purpose. That sundae had her in a full-on rom-com moment. Spoon in the air. Eyes closed. Slight head tilt. I swear I heard a soundtrack playing. Jimmy T's, y'all got something special going. It wasn't just a snack, it was an experience. One we stumbled into by accident and left feeling like we just discovered the dessert version of a secret beach. Overall? 8.5 out of 10. But don't be surprised if I bump that up after round two. read more

Jimmy T's has the best ice cream! Everything is so delicious, and there are so many options to choose from. They can even add syrups to their soft serve, which makes it extra fun. The bubble gum flavor was poppin! A perfect stop for a sweet treat. read more

I come to here often. This is good ice cream especially for the price and amount per serving you can't beat it. Soooooooo many options to choose from I stand at the board for minutes trying to decide. Milkshakes are good, the brownie sundae is a new favorite and this Oreo mombo is good as well. The service can be spotty as I've had to knock on the window once to grab someone's attention bc they apparently couldn't see me standing there for about 5 mins. I've also had really polite people at the window so it does vary. But it's pretty quick unless it's a long line. read more

Jimmy T's is Just Right This little walk-up ice cream stand is truly a hidden gem! The assortment of flavors is unbeatable. The friendly staff are outstanding at helping to find just the right treat to satisfy your taste buds. While the line of customers might be long, it moves rather quickly from order-taking to order-delivery. While it does have the standard fare of soft-serve vanilla and chocolate cones, it does have the ability to mix a huge variety of different flavors to suit an taste. I chose the espresso and caramel combination on a sugar cone. The creamy and smooth treat was delicious! Can't wait to try some other delectable treats on my next visit. read more

Me likely all types of ice cream, soft serve, custards etc.... We tried Carls downtown first when we moved to FXBG..... it was "ok" Sonic is "OK" Freddy's is better than OK. So far Jimmy's is our spot. This place sits in a box in the middle of a shopping h center- how cool is that. You pretty much have to drive to get there and folks do just that. We were pleasantly surprised how folks kept rolling in.... The line was never not there. There is outdoor seating - a few tables but we just sat in our car. I plan on going back tomorrow and taking a friend d who's visiting. This spot is dangerously with all of the menu items. I'm excited to go back. Keto is out the door when I eat here. Sorry no pics maybe next time. read more

Jimmy T's Soft Serve - Reese's mambo - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Fredericksburg, Virginia

Tried this for the first time and it did not disappoint. I ordered the brownie sundae - so good!! It had brownie bites, walnuts (my fave), peanuts, caramel drizzle, whip cream, and the cherry on top ofc. The portion was huge even though it was a small, I could have definitely shared this. Our food came out pretty quick, luckily I went during not a busy time. Usually the lines are super long during evening time and on the weekend as well. Nice place to stop by for ice cream if you're craving it or taking a road trip. There are some outdoor benches to sit. read more

This place is usually a hit. The best times are when it's not too busy. It can be dangerous since they are set in a parking lot. The workers are usually very friendly and helpful. It's great that there are many choices but my favorite one is the peanut butter blast sundae. The peanut butter shake is also really good. There is a sitting area to enjoy the delicious ice cream. read more

I have only been here once so far, and will definitely be returning!! The people working there are extremely friendly and welcoming. You can get the standard vanilla, chocolate, or vanilla/chocolate twist, or you can get a Jimmy cone, which is a variety of different flavors that they can make for you. While they can't twist them (they add flavored syrup to vanilla soft serve) they can combine flavors together. I had the rum flavor, and it was delicious. It is very soft though, so next time I will probably get it in a cup. read more

Jimmy T's Soft Serve - Small Vanilla Cone with cherry hard dip - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Fredericksburg, Virginia

Great soft serve yum. And if it is not. I have seen them throw away and redo. Even when the line large they seem to accommodate the crowd.

This is a delightful ice cream shop -- takeaway only -- not much bigger than a food truck. We had both vanilla and chocolate soft serve, with and without chocolate bonnets. and their Jimmy Cones. The Jimmy Cones are either vanilla or chocolate with added flavors. The Amaretto with chocolate soft serve was excellent (5/5). Cones are bigger that most soft serve elsewhere -- e g., the Kiddie size is comparable to a DQ small. Large shopping center parking lot provides plentiful parking. Servers are very friendly and helpful. read more

Always a great place to stop by and get something sweet! Employees are always nice and welcoming.

Ok I had some serious doubts about this place but my kids kept asking to go there all their friends have gone and said it was the best place for soft serve ice cream. Welp people these kids were not lying this is seriously the best place for soft serve ice cream !! We finally gave in and tried it out and I am so happy we did. They have so many options for soft serve ice cream and all that we tried were super yummy. I love that it's in the middle of a parking lot and the line moves fast. Now let's talk about cost this place is affordable we have 5 people I thought I was easily going to drop $50.00 + for what we got nope only around $30.00!!!! I can't believe we didn't give in earlier and try this place. There is a few picnic tables outside with umbrellas in the summer. I am sure if they expanded they could easily fill them table each day all da! What an amazing place keep rocking it Jimmy T's and we'll keep coming! No pics this time kids scarfed it down to fast lol! read more

Great ice cream and a fair price. We go at least twice a month. Great service too. They take their time to make sure the order is correct.

I've been coming to Jimmy Ts for some time and always loved their soft serve. They have a large menu with many different flavors. My go to is always getting their small twist cone. The ice cream is creamy I love their cake cones. They do serve milk shakes, malts, sundaes as well. Ice cream is cheap and service is friendly. Will continue to come back. read more

Don't let the long lines deter you...as other reviews gone before me have written! The lines move fairly quickly and who can be angry about a long line when it's for ice cream! I got the peanut butter cup sundae. It only comes in one size, which I didn't realize is ginormous! It also happens to be absolutely delicious!! Hubby got a chocolate coconut shake...chocolate soft serve with coconut syrup! We will be back! read more

A small and a large mumbo are essentially the same size. Maybe 2 Oz difference. FYI, get the small,

Delicious ice cream many flavors to choose nice size for the price will definitely be back

Jimmy T's offers ice cream of many varieties, and that's it. There are a lot of choices here, though: 25+ flavors available in cups, cones (dipped if you desire), shakes, sundaes, floats, and shaved ice (which I guess isn't technically ice cream, but close enough). As always seems to be the case at places such as this, their cones are huge, and a small will probably do you just fine (I got a chocolate dipped medium, and that was pretty intense...not that I didn't finish it!). Most everyone else in my group ordered a shake, and they were closer to the size you'd expect. I saw someone order a banana split and it was gigantic, but glorious. Prices are reasonable, and service is SO FAST. Before everyone in my party had finished ordering they already had my cone ready. I watched this happen with nearly every group of people that ordered after. They have their process down pat. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the ice cream wasn't amazing. That's not to say it was bad at all. It's just your regular ol' soft serve. Nothing wrong with that, sometimes that's exactly what you want. read more

Jimmy T's is literally in the middle of a parking lot. A tonnnnnnnn of flavors to choose from. It was super cold outside so I quickly ordered the Cheesecake Sundae but replaced the vanilla ice cream for cheesecake ice cream. I thought overall the sundae was tasty and a great deal - it was giant and 2 people could barely finish it. I thought the cheesecake bites were a little bit chewy unlike the ones I've had before, but it did hold up well in the sundae. The cheesecake ice cream was alright though I've had better elsewhere. I definitely need to give this place a second try and try their other flavors - maybe apple pie or caramel! read more

This place is awesome. Soft serve vanilla is better than Carvel. Yes I'm from New York.

I've been coming here for many years . Always loved their ice cream . I had the worst experience today went to order my ice cream I ordered a medium cup with chocolate ice cream and whip cream with extra peanuts . Paid and went to wait for my order . Once I got my order they had given me vanilla ice cream vs chocolate what I ordered . So I brought it back and was handing it to the attendant. She said throw it away I'll make you a new one . I said cool . So I just gave the ice cream to someone ( why throw away a good ice cream ) then I could see them gossiping while making my new ice cream . Went to get my ice cream and they were questioning me if I threw away the ice cream . They didn't want to give me a new one unless I had thrown the old one away . After a bit some other attendant came up and made things worse says oh they couldn't give me 2 ice creams . Because I didn't throw the old one away . Saying I had ordered wrong and it was my fault . After arguing with her she finally gave me the right ice cream . The person I gave the ice to heard it all and threw her ice cream away and when I got mine I just threw it away too . Worst customer service ! I won't be coming here again . Disgusted disgusted ! read more

So many different flavors you won't be disappointed! Most soft serve places tend to only have the classic flavors but this place definitely surprised me! I cannot express 100% in words how good the ice cream is here. Absolutely yummy, with tons of flavor options! They do not have any hard ice creams at all, but do have shaved ice. The prices are really affordable and nice, and the servings are huge. There can be pretty long looking lines to order, but the employees really do make any wait go by very fast! They closed for the winter season, but I am hoping they open up again soon so I can get my Apple Pie soft serve fix! Thank you for being such a great spot in our community! read more
