The taste was great, but the patties were a little thin for my liking. Got a single, probably should've gotten a double or triple instead. The service was great and fast. The inside gave me 80's vibes which is pretty cool, only thing missing was a juke box(lol)! Bottled sodas, definitely gave me nostalgia! But Skinny Louie's was a great experience, and look forward to visiting again!

The guacamole is delicious and the chips are homemade. Really good! I had the hibiscus agua fresca and my daughter had the Rivales margarita. Both were wonderful. For dinner we all had tacos . I had the el hongo and al pastor. Both were scrumptious. My daughter had a fish taco and a shrimp taco. She liked both but rated the shrimp taco the highest. My niece had the ribeye, carne asada and al pastor tacos. Nothing left on her plate, so she must have liked them! The tacos look small, but they are generously filled. I was comfortably full. We chose Brisket as our main, and enjoyed cornbread and mac n cheese both of which melted in your mouth with every bite. And tropical coleslaw added a bright twist to every crunch. Thank you! 5/5 PS the pickles were outstanding Ambiance was bright and airy inside and was a nice change from a typical smoky, dim-lit crouched in vibe of a traditional smoky palace.

Curiosity finally got me but really I wanted to go to a sandwich shop but they didn't have my order available lol I ordered ahead, and thank goodness, because the line was wrapped. I don't think this location was designed well. The line blocks the side door, and the ordering area inside is pretty small, which made everything feel chaotic. I went straight to the pickup side of the counter and inquired about my order. The food wasn't ready yet and took about another 7 minutes, but I wasn't tripping since they were clearly slammed. I believe the associate's name was Bri, and she was nice with good customer service, which I appreciated. Food-wise, I was slightly disappointed. The tenders were a good size, and everything was cooked well. I ordered two sliders, even though I don't really like bread like that, one hot and one medium. They were marked, but honestly looked the same and tasted the same. Both were very mild, no real heat at all. I think they messed up my order, at least I hope so cause otherwise dubya tee eff, Dave. I added Dave's sauce and honey like the good people of TikTok told me to do lol, but the food was still just okay. I ended up eating most of the second tender by itself, and it didn't have much flavor. At least the chicken wasn't dry. The fries were crisp, and I grabbed some cheese sauce to go with them. I liked all the pickles and was hoping I could use them to cool off the hot sammich, but you see that didn't go as planned! Overall, I'd say try Dave's if you're curious. I'm not opposed to giving it another shot, but I'm in no rush.

The chicken was badly overcooked--dry, tough, and nearly inedible. For the price, the quality was unacceptable. Freshness and quality are the bare minimum you expect from a sandwich shop, and this order missed the mark in every way. I won't be ordering from Jon Smith Subs again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone considering it. Save your money and order from one of the many other places that actually serves fresh, hot food.

But there's a connector behind the store to another lot that's easier to exit, and if you're quick on a takeout, you can probably park there too (before the tow truck comes). I was a Jon Smith virgin...until today! Can't tell you how many times I've passed this place heading to and from West Palm Beach/Palm Beach island. I thought it was mostly another cold sub place (which they have). Didn't realize steak is their thing. They do it well. You really can't get this quality of meat at other fast food spots. Had a footlong classic (steak, onions, cheese, mayo, + shredded lettuce). Was delicious. The meat tastes fresher and juicier than Subway. The bread/meat ratio was good. Came out quick. Stayed hot on a 20-minute drive home. FWIW, the seating/ambience is uninspiring. Seems pricey at over $15, but I definitely enjoyed the sub. May now try another sandwich or two, and the supposedly "famous" fries (claiming to be better than Five Guys?). Anyway, glad I finally satisfied my curiosity.
