My wife and I picked up food from here while visiting NAS. This was only due to the fact that they will not deliver to the Navy Lodge on post, when every other place surrounding them does. I ordered the gargantuan sandwich, which cost $21 and added bacon, which after finishing it realized I did not taste bacon at all, but got charged nearly $4 extra for it. They also do not offer a military discount in a military town. Not worth the price, or the trip. read more

Today we ordered two sandwiches one toasted and one toasted with no meat. The one withought meat only came with pickles and mayo. No lettuce or tomatoes nothing else on the sandwich. The one with meat did not get toasted. When i asked for them to toast it both workers couldn't figure out how to do that with lady rolling her eyes and walking away and sighing. Freaky Fast or Freaky Frustrating?? Stopped by Jimmy John's today to grab a couple of sandwiches for myself and my husband since he's stuck on the Naval base on duty. The guy working behind the counter, Roman, who is apparently one of the managers was super rude to the point that I almost just gave up and left. I was greeted by Roman with a "Sup"... drink in hand, sipping out of a straw. Am I saying that food service employees shouldn't be able to have a drink or whatever while they're working, absolutely not... but it's definitely not something you do while actively working the register to take people's orders. Mind you he's also wearing the same set of gloves to work the register, sip his drink, a quick brush off of those gloves onto his apron, and onto making sandwiches. Speaking of sandwiches, I ordered my sandwich and was about to order my husband's sandwich when a gentleman that needed to have his sandwich remade was standing there waiting patiently. Instead of finishing taking my order, Roman stopped helping me completely and started talking to the other gentleman. I honestly assumed that he would apologize to him for his order being wrong and then keep taking my order. Nope. He completely stopped interacting with me and addressed the other gentleman's sandwich being wrong and proceed to make him a brand new sandwich while I just stood there and waited. I was probably noticeably irritated, but I have never had someone just switch like that and start helping someone else, it felt super rude and I almost just said "forget about it" and left, but waited it out instead. Ooh, mind you the same gloved hands that he was running the register with for my order, he remade this other gentleman's sandwich. Gross. Then he started talking to the guy in the back running the slicer, then a pickup order walked in so he helped him too, then FINALLY came back to the register, looked at me like he had no clue what I was waiting for or irritated about, and said "Sup, oh ya that's right" and rang up my second sandwich. Roman got my sandwiches made "Freaky Fast" just like their store motto, but it was all of the in between stuff that made this an absolutely frustrating situation. This store needs to train their employees better, and select employees to move up to management because they excel at customer service and customer engagement... and Roman is neither of those things. To whomever is the store manager over Roman... he should probably just go back to being a regular employee and not hold a management spot... because this was ridiculous. read more

Ordered a new #13. Staff was nice and friendly and the wait was less than 5 minutes tops. The sandwich was a disaster though- now dont get me wrong, i love jimmy johns food- but who in their right mind globs mayo (see picture) on a sandwich like this? Not this guy! I used the chips to scoop it off half my meal, the other half i just tossed. Im not that guy to complain and try to get free meals, money back etc. so- in the trash it went. Ordered 2 number 5 combos without onions to go. They yelled out when my order was ready. I walked up, my sandwich's were plopped on top of the outer counter ready to be grabbed and go. Except I was not dining in so I patiently stood there waiting for the gentleman to finish making a sandwich. Then he preceded to ignore me and started making another sandwich. I politely interrupted and asked for a bag. The woman working next to him crassly said they are in front of you, you can grab them. I've never eaten at a fast food restaurant where they expect you to reach into the food prep area to grab your own bag and napkins. I know it's fast food, and it's hard to find help, but maybe if you expect your customers to package their own to go orders the to go items would be placed in a customer area. I am a Jimmy Johns fan however during our stay in Pensacola, my family and I decided to order from our local store. A gargantuan on wheat for me sounded amazing, wife and kids had their favorite subs as well however, when we received our order, my wheat sub was no longer a sub but a sandwich, My wifes sub had tomatoes and onions, and my Daughters was laking pickles, cheese, AND lettuce. After seeing this, we called the store to have this corrected and the manager told us there was nothing he would do to rectify this situation. I mean really?? You don't want to fix YOUR mistakes? I go here out of convenience to the Warrington campus for lunch/dinner. There is no sense of urgency in the staff. They start making your sandwich, get on the register, run to the back, all while keeping gloves on and then jump right back into making your sandwich. I prefer when certain staff works over others. The skinny white guy has such a piss poor attitude and is the least clean human I've ever seen working food service. Please conduct training on cleanliness practices because I really want to alert the health department. I cringe when I walk in and see certain employees. read more

Well, I see a couple of negative reviews, but I can say that, out of the 5 or so times I have been to this particular establishment for lunch, have had nothing but good experiences. I always have a good experience when going to Jimmy Johns. This one by far had the best service. The guys were super welcoming and helpful when choosing which sandwich was best. Delivery onto a military base from many restaurants that do offer delivery services would usually take roughly 45 minutes...some at a ridiculous 2+ hour mark, even despite suggesting 45 minutes. Not these guys. Jimmy John's advertises "Exceptional Delivery", and that is a graaaaave understatement. I had customized their largest sandwich, "The J.J. Gargantuan" to exclude certain toppings, with Jalapeño potato chips and a large Coke, and before I could finish getting my uniform on and leave the quarterdeck coming from the top floor, they have already parked outside the galley, ready for me to pick up my order. When they say 10-15 minutes, they weren't kidding. These guys are ridiculous, and I mean that in a really...very good way. Jimmy John suggested he intended to call it tasty sandwiches instead of gourmet, although his mother suggested to stick with gourmet. Expect a very modest sandwich, and a very good one at that, delivered straight to your doorstep, made the way you like, all of this before you can even get off the phone with them (not literally, but sure feels that way). This location is a mile from my house & I come here quite often, always ordering the #9 w/ hot peppers & it's always delicious. Love the bread, love the italian vinaigrette so tasty Subway is nothing compared to Jimmy Johns :) Subway is more expensive & their sandwiches are super processed. I would have given 5 stars but several times during a quick visit to pick up a sandwich I was approached by very forward young men, polite way of saying rude teenagers hit on me when I go in there occasionally which I don't care for. read more

Not a big fan of their "there's no such thing as easy on the mayo" technique but their inability to get an order right is puzzling. Twice in a row I stop in for a quick sandwich only to get a sub at a sandwich price. I even make a square with my hands to indicate my choice of bread.
