After ordering we were told the kitchen was backed up with online orders and it may be up to 10 minutes wait for the food. It was over 25minutes before we finally got our food. The soda fountain was out of syrup so both the coke and sprite had no flavor, and the tables were not clean. The sandwich was good. I ordered the Italian. It was average. Not worth the wait by any means. Also something to note, they were calling out the sandwich numbers rather than a name or order number, so people's orders started getting confused. I've been a customer for many years - after all, it's right down the street and when I couldn't leave the office I had them deliver a sandwich - but no more. They have been getting progressively slower each of the last 10 times I ordered, but the last time, well, was the last time. Odered online at 11:50 a.m. By 12:50, no sandwich so I called. Oh, they said it's out for delivery. 1:20 and still no sandwich - so I told them to cancel my order. They did, but what I realized is they they lied - had my sandwich really been out for delivery, it still would have showed up even after I cancelled it. But it never showed up - meaning that it really was not out for delivery at 12:50. Being slow is one thing, but lying is another. But, unlike the one in Milwaukee on the Marquette campus, this one paid attention to my request for a #13 sandwich light on cheese. I've been ordering catering from this specific Jimmy John's every week, sometimes 2-3 times per week for corporate events at my work that require catering. Our organization, Rogers Behavioral Health, is only 5 minutes up the road. Today, the catering I ordered to be delivered at 12pm did not arrive until 12:40pm. I called the store first at 12:11pm and the individual at the store apologized and said they were running late but the food was on it's way as we spoke. At 12:31pm when the food still had not arrived, I called the store again and the same person answered and apologized saying that the store was not able to get in touch with the delivery driver. They were very apologetic but unable to assure me whether the food would arrive or not, so they suggested I speak to the manager who can resolve the issue. When the manager got on the phone, they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. They continuously insisted that there was nothing they could do if the delivery drivers don't follow the correct order of who to deliver to first. Because my catering order still had not arrived at this point and there seemed no guarantee that the food was coming, I asked the manager to issue a refund. They said they could not do that, that the best they could offer was "some free chips, a couple cookies," or "a free sandwich voucher." I told them that these offers do not help the situation I am in where the event has now missed the allotted lunch time without eating, and the food was still not here. The manager began to get a worse attitude with me, still insisting there was nothing they could do. I understood that they could not get back the 40 minutes that we had lost due to the food being late, but what I was trying to get them to see was that these offers they were making (food voucher, chips, cookies) do not rectify that 1. The food had not arrived STILL, 2. There was no guarantee that the food was going to even make it here (since they apparently couldn't get a hold of the deliver driver?) and 3. That my company had paid almost $100 for food and was owed a refund if the food was not coming. The manager said they are not able to issue refunds on catering orders. The food eventually arrived around 12:40, and the delivery driver stated that the "girl packing forgot the pickles so I had to go all the way back to get the pickles." 40 minutes late and all the staff that were supposed to have this lunch at 12pm had already left to get their own food from somewhere else. read more

When I asked why they said my order " just came up"- over 10 minutes after it had been placed. Finally got my order and left. It was made wrong, with onions and no Mayo or oregano/basil. My family and I love Jimmy Johns. This location has friendly staff which I appreciate very much, but they mess up our order EVERY TIME we order online. Each time, they forget chips, cookies, or even an entire sandwich. You HAVE to check your order before you leave. When I've called to report missing items or subs with the wrong toppings, they've been very nice, but only ask me to return to the store for them to "fix" the issue...we live 18 minutes away...they don't offer a refund (b/c it's online and they seem to not know how to do that) and they don't offer a "next time you'll get it for free", even if it's $10 worth of mistakes. It's become such an issue, that we now generally choose to order from a competitor, because it's less of a hassle. read more

Our trip to this Jimmy Johns was very disappointing. The staff that served us didn't seem to care that we were there or not. No smiles, thank yous or have a nice day. When we asked for a bag for our 3 sandwiches he pointed at the bags and walked away. Our shoes were sticking to the floor. The area we could see behind the counter was littered with gloves, paper and dough. There were at least 5 people working and walking on top of this mess. No pride in their job or environment. I know I can always get a great sandwich and friendly service here. My favorite is the vegetarian on the multi-grain bread instead of the sub bun. You don't have to be overwhelmed by choices to have a great sub or sandwich. They do a few things and they do it really well. Always nice service and they have decent outdoor seating. read more

This Jimmy John's location opened up a few months ago. As a Subway addict, some of my co-workers convinced me to go with them to get lunch here. I'm a convert. If you've been to any JJ's you know what to expect - the same sandwiches, prep, and speed of delivery - by the time you've finished paying, your sub is done. One of the young men went above and beyond to help us. He not only gave us verbal instructions, but he also took the time to give us a print out, which really did help. Placed 2 large orders online, ($500) worth, to be picked up at an 11:15 am arrival. Was not "freaky fast", as the orders were not even ready until 11:40. Initially, we noticed they forgot 1 of 3 pickle buckets. When we got home, we noticed they only sent 20 of the 50 bags of chips! I immediately called and spoke with a manager who could not find 1 of the 2 orders I placed to look it up. After 10 minutes, he finally found it, didn't offer an apology, a refund, etc...I was basically out of luck bc they forgot 30 bags of chips (keep in mind they are about $1.30 a piece). I was mid-party and only had 20 bags of chips for 50 people. I was not able to leave the party so I asked him to make an exception and go 3 mins out of his delivery area to bring the chips to me (since it was their fault), and he managed to give me a piece of his mind along with some foul language. I have come here before and always got great service. I came here tonight when they were offering $1 subs for customer appreciation. I have to say I was super impressed how smooth everything went. The line went outside however there was two people taking orders outside so when you were inside you just handed the cashier your order slip, paid and your food was ready. I waited less than 2 minutes from the time I got in line, my order was taken, paid and got my food. Your staff was definitely prepared for the amount of people that were there during this time.
