Service has always been friendly for us if a little slow at times. Ask for a refill well in advance if needing it. They have different themed days like a west coast and a trivia night. The real standout here though is the food. I've enjoyed the turkey club a lot. The bacon jam is delicious. And generous portions of turkey, The pub fries are really tasty. The pork belly is to die for. The mushroom and Swiss is a favorite of my spouse. I also really enjoyed their brunch selections. The thick cut French toast is prepared perfectly and delicious. Even the everyday eggs and bacon were satisfying. I've also had their Detroit style pizzas and I'd honestly choose them over 90 percent of pizza places in the area. Give the Copper Boar an opportunity if you like elevated pub food. Especially during their brunch.

It's a very small thing, but after a 13 hour shift it made me happy so I really appreciate it. Was a great deal for fast high quantity food. Today's visit went about as well as we could've hoped. We got to try all our old usuals and they were just as good as we remembered! The only real down side was the "shrink flation" of portions, but I'm not surprised given the all the changes that happened over the last 6 years. Oh yeah and one pandemic. Core memory... We got a lot of food to try and sample as much as we could (we usually do on a first visit to a place to see what we like and have more reasons to come back). The churro could've been warmer, but it was a good combination of crunchy and sweet which I was okay with. The burrito taco combo was great, though the spicy green sauce is what sealed the deal for me on it. Fries were 99 cents as a side, couldn't say no! Nice and hot when we got them! Yummy! Chips and queso was also good. Cheese was steaming hot! Quesadilla was massive! We added Pico but think we will ask for it on the side in the future. Breakfast burrito with bacon was as good as we remembered, but like mentioned before not as big. The Pina drink was pleasant. We will likely get it again. Tastes like pineapple! The automated ordering machine was nice in our case since we could look closely at all the options and take our time, but in the future I think I'll stick with talking to a person (which I think is an option for ordering? There is a drive through so for sure there is a way). Food came out promptly with minimal staggering. Our server was pleasant which is a plus these days. It was kinda empty and quiet inside which we don't mind, but if that kind of atmosphere is off putting to you, you have been warned. Though a train going by occasionally does break the silence quite dramatically. Also, the train. Don't forget about it if you are trying to grab a quick bite for lunch! We certainly will come back again for some comfort food and reminder of "good-O'l times"
