The staff is very friendly. However I feel like the Jimmy Johns around this part of the state just does not hit the same as other places. I attribute it to the lack of meat, it's just a few slices per sandwich. I am not a double meat type of person, but I think here it would make the sandwich better. Otherwise it's a lot of bread and not a lot else. We got the picklewich!! It is worth getting, especially if you like pickles. It is a LOT of pickle. Very damp, as expected. My daughter ordered a #4, which is a turkey sandwich, but she ordered it with cheese. It arrived and it was a cheese sandwich....no turkey!! Wtf?!?!? So I called the the store and let them know of the mistake. No problem he says, we're getting out now. The same driver ends up asking my daughter if he can have the one they messed up , to prove to his manager that they messed up. REALLY?!?!?!? What a fucking joke!!! Convenient location in the middle of North Liberty. I've been here a couple times. Service is meh. They just want to get your order and get you out. No thank you, please etc. My visit the other night through the drive thru was not stellar. Guy at the intercom was rude and kept interrupting as we made the order. We asked for a second (mind you no one was behind us) while we confirmed with our kid on their order and he kept saying "anything else? Anything else" then while we were ordering he kept interrupting so we had to restart several times to make sure he got it right. At least our food was right in the end. read more

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are down-to-earth and friendly, my orders are always right (and fresh), and the process for pre-ordering and pick-up is super convenient. If you have not pre-ordered, I would highly recommend it. It's easy and fast. Just place your order online for a set pick-up time, then stop in to pick up your order on the shelving to the left. I typically love Jimmy John's & have ordered from this location enough to be continuously disappointed. The delivery time is never quicker then 40 minutes, despite living 5 mins away. They have sent us sandwiches that we didn't even order & have not added items that we paid extra for on our sandwiches. Unfortunately, my fiancé & I are now driving a lil extra to get jersey mikes down the road because they haven't disappointed yet. Management needs to step in & fix this store. So pretty standard jimmy johns. the delivery driver is really nice! i never happen to catch his name but he's always the one to bring my order. the problems usually occur when i use the drive thru or order in the store. whenever i order my sandwich this way they don't actually make a good sandwich. there will be just a few peices of lettuce with an disproportionate amount of meat. i also asked for cheese to be put on my sandwich and was charged for the cheese but was given a plain sandwich with no mayo or cheese. I've gone to locations that are 10x busier and received better service so don't even bother with the North lib jimmy johns unless ordering for delivery, that seems to be the only way you'll receive a proper sandwich for read more

Our office ordered sandwiches today for lunch and everyone's sandwiches were difficult to eat due to the subs being so hard! Not sure if they are using several days old bread or what! I was taking the wife out for lunch, which I don't get todo a lot. We ordered are sandwiches and wanted water for drink. They handed us a cone shape cups. I said then how are we supposed to unwrap our sandwiches and eat holding a cup of water. I asked to speak with the manager and he wouldn't come over and talk to me. The guy making the sandwiches said "take it or leave them. The pop cup cost money. If I had a problem, then call Jimmy." He didn't offer me a phone number for Jimmy. I'm think the water cups cost money too. Sense there was two of us, they must expect me to hold both cups while my wife eats them for her to hold the cups while I eat. read more

My favorite spot. I went through the drive thru, and Dakota was great. I could not wait to take the first bite of my number eight, as soon as I pulled out of the drive I was already chewing, and felt something cold on my cheek, it was mayonnaise. I decide to pick up Jimmy John's after my daughter had a really bad day. I get home with the sandwiches, mine is missing the sprouts I specifically requested, and we got Salt & Vinegar chips instead of thinny chips. All in all not a big deal but I call. The young man that answers the phone puts me on with his manager Paris who states without the preface of any kind of apology, "What do you want us to do? The only thing that was wrong was your sandwich didn't have sprouts." Me: And we got the wrong chips. Paris: "We'll credit the price of the chips." Me: What's your name? Paris: Paris. Me: Click. Does not live up to the "freaky fast" delivery. We live less than 2 miles from this restaurant, and we waited 45 minutes. When it was finally delivered, my sandwich was missing the extra cheese...though I was charged for it :( I called, and they did offer to send me a new sandwich, but I declined. That was appreciated, but I didn't want to wait again, not worth it. Topping on the cake was the rude manager. He didn't want to talk to me, but when I did finally get him in the phone, he blamed it on only having one driver. I asked that they consider having more driving staff, esp on busy nights. I have ordered delivery from here from the time the store opened. I live three minutes away and I even ordered some delivery yesterday and it came successfully. However today I called to order my regular sandwich and they told me that they do not deliver to my address. I talked to the manager, the assistant manager, and also an employee and all three of them told me that their policy stated that they do not deliver to my address. Due to my close proximity and past history of ordering many times, I knew this was a mistake but they refused service to me and were extremely rude. After talking with corporate headquarters on facebook messaging, corporate agreed that I am within delivery range, and that the managers of the store were wrong. However, this experience has made me lose my appetite. I refuse to ever give my money to this company because they do not use logic when making decisions...they've lost a loyal regular customer based off of pure ignorance of their own policies and common sense.
