I ordered a turkey sandwich and it barely had any meat. It was horrible. I would never come here again.

I was surprised I got the kicking chicken and it was really fresh and good and wrapped nicely. I really enjoyed it

Pretty good sandwiches, pretty quick, decent prices.... All the employees are wearing a mask, however two out of three didn't have their nose covered. I think somebody needs to explain science to the store manager. Would be five stars if everybody had their nose covered.... At least as long as the pandemic is still around. read more

I decided to try this place for the first time by using the drive-thru. After reading numerous reviews complaining about masks not being worn, I did not care to go inside. There were only two cars ahead of me, but it took quite a while before I got up to the speaker to order. I gave the guy my order. He then tells me to hold on a minute. I sat there waiting for quite a bit. A completely different guy came back on the speaker and asked me what I would like to order, I then had to start all over repeating the order I just gave the first guy. I asked for mustard but was told they can only give it to you in packets. What sandwich shop can't put mustard on your sandwich for you? That's weird. I ordered a turkey and provolone on a white roll. The amount of turkey on the sandwich was generous. In fact, I didn't realize how huge the sandwich was going to be. It was pretty good, but a little bland. This is because they did not include the mustard I specifically requested. I was not about to drive back just to get it. There are so many good locally-owned sandwich places in town that I prefer. With that said... I might return and give them another try. The convenience of the drive-through is nice, For an over $8 sandwich, they need to slap some mustard on it for the customer! read more

honestly the food was alright. When am I going back? Probably not until I'm extremely hungry Lol. In all seriousness , the staff was very friendly and were fast. It was nice when the young gentleman ( I can't exactly remember his name) made conversation and asked how my day was. The only issue for me is the food. Afterwards, it made me have to revisit the toilet. (Sorry for the TMI but it is necessary) I have never felt such intense stomach issues in my life until today. Although I won't blame Jimmy John's itself considering I had hot chocolate around noon. However , the #5 did taste a bit off. I choose to blame Jimmy John's 100% for the horrid events that followed shortly after. The ambience was pretty laid back, but the music sucked. Seriously who the hell chose the music? I walked out with a dissatisfaction in my stomach and in my head. Please reconsider eating here , it's not horrible , just not the best food wise . I'm with another reviewer in calling my sandwich "decent." I ordered an Italian Club no capicola (which they didn't have anyway) and no oil and vinegar. The drive thru wait was a little long but it was about lunchtime. I was disappointed when I got home as I expected more of a sub-style bread not a sliced wheat sandwich bread. They use shredded lettuce which makes everything sloppy. Just thought I'd try it out since they're a new business. May or may not go back. read more

Got three sandwiches at the drive through. Mine was a little John when we got it home it was bread, oil and one slice of roast beef. Asked for lettuce, vinegar and the meat of course. never have I had a sandwich with only ONE slice of meat! huge rip off. read more

Never heard of this chain, and the drive through was fine, with a kind and patient server. I liked the bread much better than some of the competitors and thought the sandwich was good. Even the child's size was big enough for me at this point and I will go back for quick and convenient sandwiches. read more

Staff was very rude and impatient with my daughter who was trying to order (tapping his finger on the counter while she was ordering) two men talking were extremely loud making it hard for her to hear. We have never eaten at a Jimmys before . Thought we would try it here in Lodi CA. We walked in and only one staff member was wearing a face mask, not covering his nose , during this time of COVID. The other four, including sandwich assemblers, were not wearing masks . We ordered and took our sandwiches home to find that sandwiches were pretty plain , basic , and my husbands sandwich had 2 brown curly hairs in it . Not sure why, during this time masks were not worn as a sign of care , empathy , and respect . Not to mention it's required at this time . Wow, if that was their "double beef" portion, the regular portion must be roast beef juice. I've picked more meat out of my teeth after a meal than was in my sandwich. We love Jimmy John's! The sandwich was good. But, if you're out of lettuce and pickles tho- please tell your customer. And if the customer asks you to cut the sandwich in half when ordering, and asks again if you did so at the end, don't lie if you did not cut it! Excellent customer service and you get a lot of food for a very decent price. I ordered a veggie sandwich that came with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado spread and I added pickles, basil seasoning, and oil and vinegar for no additional cost. The sandwich was huge and I was able to share with a friend. I look forward to eating here again. read more

Ordered a Cubano which was not warm and didn't realize we had to ask for lettuce tomato anything else vegetable ways we wanted on it. I wish I could add photos of the paper thin sandwiches you receive here. I have tried this place 3 times (3 strikes) and the sandwiches appear the same size as a mini McDonalds breakfast burrito, but a tad longer. I feel so bad for local businesses during C-19, but you have to produce a good product and not cut corners for $32 for 3 sandwiches. Every time the produce is lacking, as if I ordered my sandwiches without produce, there is one roll of meat. I get it, prices have gone up, but these look like breadsticks from Macaroni Grill. I asked for a side of pickles and got three little slices. I can't even cover half my sandwich with that. If they are struggling that much, I would be happy to pay for the pickles. My favorite sandwich shop. I think the #7 (Spicy Italian) is one of the most tasty sandwiches anywhere. Also had great success with #5 & #9. I haven't had the problems with service that other reviews stated, but maybe because I haven't hit them at busy times. The exceptional flavor of their sandwiches is maybe because of the basil/oregano/oil ingredient. I think the #7 is a large amount of quality meat, cheese & such for the price compared to others. Never had a problem with the more bread than meat like another reviewer said. I might suggest trying their stuff in it's normal form rather than telling them what you want created. Addition of the "Jimmy Mustard" seems OK & maybe stay away from their busiest times as per other reviews. A friend told me they made a good #15 Club Tuna, but I haven't tried it yet. I drive from a nearby town to get their stuff. Only possible feedback is to tuck all the meat more into the sandwich rather than letting 1/3 hang out one side. read more

Wife and I ordered 2 Cubano's on-line. They have a nice system of tracking your order, but after 30 minutes of waiting for "Ready for Pickup" my wife went in to check. The order was ready. So she brought them home and were quite disappointed. Bread didn't really look very good.....pretty much the worst specimen of bread from any of the chain shops. Very bland, lots of mayo or sauce and a little short on the meat. I doubt if we will go back as there are better chain sub shops in town, and I won't be redeeming my free 8" sandwich either. Last Friday night (Nov. 5, 2021) at 7:30pm I called this Jimmy John's to make an order. There was 4 of us that I was buying sandwiches and chips for. A younger man answered the phone and kept telling me we close in 15 minutes. When he was telling me that I looked at my phone and it was 7:33pm and I told him 3 times that we were on our way and would be there in 10-15 minutes. He was reluctant to take our order and I finally asked him, "so you don't want to take my order" and he again replied well we close in 15 minutes. I told him never mind and I hung my phone up at 7:35pm. Now I was placing an order for 4 sandwiches with chips and sodas which would have been around $60.00 and not only did he lose my business he also will loose the business of anyone else who works in our offices here at my place of business. What a shame that an owner has someone like this who is afraid to work. If he continues to turn away business then eventually it will have an affect on the bottom line of this sand which shop. I have been a frequent customer here and over the weekend took a look at and realized that this year I spent over $300.00 here at this Jimmy John's not including the times we ordered as a business. With that being said I will no longer be a customer and would advise anyone else to not patronize a place where the employees are not wanting to do their job. read more
