Eat here all the time. The customer service is great and my food is always pretty quick. Never had an issue

You'll wait forever to get your sandwich, and it will be made incorrectly. This is the wrist Jimmy John's in Lincoln.

We've eaten there several times and haven't experienced the slow service people are talking about. Love their sandwiches.

This is the best-kept lunchtime secret in Lincoln! It's my favorite sandwich place in town, and…read morewith all of the hype about the East Campus Dairy Store, the Corner Deli is way underrated. Made-to-order sandwiches, nachos, & more. You can add havarti, blue cheese, & lots of other yummy ingredients you won't find at a franchise chain. Where else can you order a "Bo Panini"? Ha! If you're tired of fries, get chips OR a side salad OR fresh fruit OR your choice of soup to go with your sandwich. You can get a fountain pop OR a smoothie OR bottle of Naked Juice OR plenty of other things. I usually get my order to-go, but there's plenty of seating in the union. You can read a free copy of the Daily Nebraskan, or watch people bowl :) TIPS: - Park in the north lot marked "Faculty Only". There is metered visitor parking next to the union. - Get there before noon to avoid waiting in line behind hungry Ag & Dentistry students. - BRING CASH. The Deli doesn't accept checks or plastic (except for the University's N-Card). If you forget, there's an ATM next to the West entrance.

This place is a nice surprise. It's a little tiny kitchen, almost a niche, in the East Union. They…read morehave sandwiches, burritos, and pizzas, all of them made Subway-style. You order at the entrance and they make your sandwich/pizza/burrito from a selection of about 40 toppings, and slap it in the appropriate oven. I had a Mediterranean pannini, which had feta, an olive and tomato salsa, lettuce, tomato, and turkey on ciabatta. No complaints, though I don't love olives. For a giant $4 cafe-style sandwich I'm not going to complain. In fact, I'm going to return. But nothing has changed in the 3+ years since the last review. They don't do credit cards. Cash or get lost.

I think I just found my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant!! Walked in and it was already packed!…read moreBut they were quick at getting tables cleaned and ready. Probably waited 5 mins max so I was very impressed. I noticed the lights have the Vietnamese hat on it. Very creative. Menu had a lot of great options but I decided to try the bun dac biet (vermicelli noodle bowl). Let me tell you they did not disappoint!! Portion size of meat, noodles, and veggies were great. They prepared everything in a timely manner too. The servers were very attentive and kind. Also, when at a Vietnamese restaurant ca phe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) is always a must. I liked how they prepared everything for me in a to-go cup since I'm a slow sipper. Overall, really enjoyed my experience here. Will definitely be coming back to try their pho next.

I will start this review by saying that the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and I would…read morestill recommend giving this place a chance if you're from out of town or just craving some Viet food. My meal was just average, however. I ordered the #27 (Com Suon Dac Biet- Pork Rice Plate) and found the meat a little tough. I was also told that they were out of the egg loaf, but I just think they didn't make any. Perhaps the majority of the customers usually stick with pho, but I was a bit disappointed. I also ordered spring rolls but it didn't come out until I was near the end of my meal and found them weirdly a little hard. Not sure if it was just fried too long or what.

Stinky little store. I kept coming up with theories all the way through it as to why that was…read more Maybe it's old? Maybe its not very clean? Maybe its clientele all wear adult diapers they need to go home and change? I dont know, but I was afraid to buy any perishables as a result. Tiny, but ok selection of most things, except for Chobani Flips (which I was too afraid to buy), I dont know if they sell any fresh meat, they had processed meats (also, which I didn't buy or even look at.) Only one kind of eggs: store brand 12 pack, no Egglands Best omega 3 eggs for anyone in town. Most of the fresh produce looked pretty good, as did the bagged salads and lettuce blends in back of the others. The ones in front were pretty not good. Prices on some things store wide were really, really high ($7 for 28 tampons) Some things were priced really low (.69 cilantro! Dried spice form, I dont think they sell it fresh) a mixed bag of unpredictableness in pricing and selection. . If I lived in this town, sure I'd shop there. But I wouldn't like it, and maybe I'd go full vegetarian. Located walking distance from a truck stop (if you dont get caught by the railroad police and forced to go around the train tracks the long way, instead of zipping straight across them and turning left;)), or you can get delivery by instacart, but be careful on the prepped, bagged produce. That stuff isn't all fresh and rosy. Make sure you put instructions in there for your personal shopper to grab you a bag from behind all the ones in front if you go that route.

I always like the friendliness at Havelock, not to mention the "small town atmosphere inside"read more
