This Jimmy John's location is located on W 6th Street in downtown Cleveland. It's the only quick bites place on W 6th. The remaining restaurants are more formal sit down affairs. I go to a salon in this neighbor and found it very convenient to grab a lunch. Ambiance: The location has urban vibes with its location in the historic downtown building. The decor has a similar feel - exposed brick walls like predominant in the W 6th living. There are plenty of cafe tables and wooden booths to get away from your office. You can also sit on the patio. The location wasn't crowded even during weekday lunch time. Most guests took their orders to go. Food: I ordered Club Lulu and the Ultimate Porker sandwiches, both for myself. I wasn't too enthusiastic about these sandwiches. The bread tasted fresh but the meat did not. There was also not enough mayo and they tasted pretty dry. Overall they were pretty flavorless and not exciting. I visited after a long time away from Jimmy John's so perhaps I'm no longer familiar with their menu and recipe adjustments. Service: I wouldn't say that the service was friendly, it was pretty transactional. On the plus side the service was very quick. My sandwiches were done within minutes. I was happy about such expedited service since I was in a huge hurry. I was happy about this sandwich shop's location and service. I wasn't impressed with the sandwiches. I might stop in the future if in need of quick bites but won't go out of my way to eat here. read more

I haven't had a cold cut sandwich in years and I don't need another one. I played it safe and just got the Turkey Tom (turkey, lettuce, tomato and mayo. It was the most bland sandwich I ever had and the bread was a bit hard. I guess I was thinking it would be good like I remembered Subway's bread. I won't be back. read more

If I could give it no stars I would. The workers act like your business is an inconvenience. My sandwich has yet to be correct and I've tried to give benefit of the doubt a handful of times. No customer service whatsoever. Do better read more

the crew at the Ashtabula Jimmy Johns are AMAZING!!!!! they are always soooo friendly and helpful. the restaurant is very clean.

Just tried the sandwiches at this place recently -- under new management it's super fast, friendly staff (shoutout to Haan!), and perfect sandwiches. Will be back! read more

Jimmy John's - Tom Turkey with hot peppers - Sandwiches Near Me - Cleveland, Ohio

Worst customer service. I wanna use another word here but I gonna resist the urge. The little girl with the crooked, matted down wig, who took my order, kept laughing and giggling at something that I still don't get it. When the fat sloppy boy, who finally decided to get out of his seat, finally decided to fill my order I had to talk him through because he kept adding wrong ingredients from what I ordered. Dude had the worst attitude! Then, dude nearly threw my sandwich at me! I would have thrown it back, except that I was a bit hungry and had already paid. smh. Now I remember why I haven't been to this hole since the beginning of COVID. read more

Absolutely the worst not only Jimmy Johns I've ever been to. They should close. Maggots in the sandwich and the cashier had a gun in his waistband. I would say hey, hire new people but no, if an owner ever let this place get like this I'm sure they're garbage too. I got food poisoning and I'm headed to the ER for the second time today. Absolutely stay away from this place. I'd rather drink my own piss than go here. read more

Placed an online order at 11:20am, arrived at store at 11:35am. proceeded to wait 30+ minutes inside of store and watched countless people walk in place orders and walk out before me. I asked what was going on with order and was told to be patient??? REALLY be patient??? Waiting inside of store for 30 minutes is not patience enough???? Then told by worker that my attitude was why I was not getting my food... WHAT THE FUCK???? Freaky Fast???? more like Freaking slow as a sloth!!!! I will never ever eat at another Jimmy John's establishment again in my whole life... staff was HORRIBLE!!!!! HOW DOES THIS PLACE STAY IN BUSINESS???? read more

Ahhh, good 'ole Jimmy. A classic American favourite (at least in the midwest). This downtown location is super clean, never crowded, and offers great service. I've come here 3 times now and I LOVE to get the Turkey Tom sandwich. It's my favourite and costs less than $6 (or less than $7?). I really enjoy the sprouts inside the sandwich and mayo. There are so many other sandwich options that are available for your selection so don't be shy, select your choice. I believe there is even a vegetarian sandwich as well. Finish off your meal with a drink, chips and a cookie. I normally bring my own water bottle when I come since I don't drink soft drinks (soda/pop). Also, they are super fast in preparing your sandwich. You can even call ahead then pick your food or they will deliever it to your location. Going to Jimmy Johns is a QUICK and EASY lunch idea so don't even think too hard about what you're going to eat for lunch. Get on over here :) Dinner is served as well - same menu. read more

Normally I wouldn't complain about a 45 minute wait but, don't advertise as "freaky fast" if you clearly have no intention of being fast. I live 2 blocks away from this joint and if we weren't sick and it wasn't raining I'd just go pick this up. Unacceptable. read more

UPDATE: went back again and same dude. Terrible attitude. Didn't greet me. Straight up ignored me for 10 minutes. Didn't ask for my order. Just stood there and grumbled at me. Rang me up and left the register. Just absolute horrific customer service. Jimmy Johns has lost my business! Fire this guy! ORIGINAL: Just got back from there where the short guy working literally started cursing the moment I walked in. Didn't greet me or ask me for my order. Just kept grumbling/cursing under his breath and slamming stuff around. Apparenrly pissed that he had a customer? I just went ahead and ordered anyway despite that I should've just left. I was speechless at his unwarranted attitude. He made my sandwich and handed it to me without a word. He made wrong. It's missing avocado, which was probably an up-charge. Worst customer service I've experienced by far!!! I checked for a name tag but no tag on. This guy should not be working there. read more

Jimmy John's - a man working behind the counter - Sandwiches Near Me - Cleveland, Ohio

2nd time since June we were refused service. Let customers stand in line 10 minutes. 5 workers refused to make eye contact. Finally someone asked if they would be taking our order and they said no. Ridiculous to waste people's time and treat repeat customers that way. The owner clearly us ok, because this has happened before. Won't have to worry about my patronage, plenty of establishments out there happy to take paying customers. They are too busy with catering and online, then lock the door, out a sign up. Rating is 0 for the way they handled. read more

Horrible customer service. I asked the guy if "everything ok?" because he just stared at me. Not a single "hello" or "how can I help you?" He just ... stared at me. I asked him if I could get a number nine. He told me my total and immediately started making the sandwich. I asked what comes on it. He told me. I said no onion no tomato but add pickles. I watched him begrudgingly make my sandwich. He went to wrap up my sandwich. I explained he forgot the pickles. Rolled his eyes. Went back and put the pickles on. Handed the sandwich to me. No "there you go!" Or "thanks, come again" literally just handed me my sandwich and walked away. What the hell. Last time I'll go there. read more

Worst jimmy johns ever. Half the time their internet is down and can only accept cash or on line orders. They run out of bread!

Trash. I don't know anything about their sandwiches because I never received one. If you don't have drivers, don't allow people to make delivery orders. Seems pretty simple to me ‍ read more

There must have been a management change based on these reviews. I've never had a bad experience here. It's always fast, clean, and satisfactory food. Staff seems to always be in a good mood. This is my 2nd time going to the location on 836 St. Clair Ave... the 1st time, the guy on duty was hanging out with his friends, ignored us for 5 minutes, then when he finally started our order, he was rude and aloof. I called and they told me their driver is out so I would have to come in and get it myself. Please do something about these people, Jimmy John's. read more

I love Jimmy Johns as a franchise for their relatively healthy options and the convenience of "freaky-fast" service (even with delivery). This location does NONE of that. Orders are frequently messed up and take at least 20 minutes if you're getting it delivered (for example, if you have a busy day at work). If you walk in the shop, the service is adequate; but ordering delivery is a complete joke. They will lie on the phone say your order is on the way when the tracking system (which the local store updates) shows that to be false. Once you call to check on your order, they, of course, rush it right over... This is a sad example of a great business model messed up by poor management. Jimmy Johns = 5 stars This location specifically = 0 read more

Seems like at the last three times I've been at work and they never have a delivery driver , you can't use door dash because apparently door dash uses their own drivers meaning the drivers for Jimmy John's as the door dash drivers so therefore you have no options to get Jimmy John's at all unless you're going there to pick it up but when you're stuck at work and you cannot leave you need it delivered. Get some damn delivery drivers read more

Ordered for pickup at 11:56am from work. Tracker never updated to being ready for pickup so I waited and waited. I didn't want to be that guy calling after 15 minutes. I call at 12:47 and say my tracked hasn't updated. Guy looks it up and says oh yea it's ready. No apology for their system being inaccurate or anything. Then again, when I go in to pick it up, no apologies or I thought maybe they would throw in a cookie or a drink.. nope! Working in IT, it was very sad/frustrating that they didn't seem to care the tracker wasn't working properly. Also, sandwich wasn't cut in half, pickle wasn't halved, and napkins weren't provided, which were requested in the order. They clearly don't look at the order in much detail at all. One last thing I find weird is if I ordered online, why should I have to go to the order here window, as opposed to the pickup window as I have already placed my order... read more

Very rude girl took my family's order, never made eye contact, never said my total. Felt like she was mad and made us very in comfortable so we took our food to-go. Ordered 14 boxed lunches and when we went to open them up we discovered only 6 had cookies so I called to let them know we were short cookies. They first didn't believe me and said that wasn't possible. Then they asked if I could bring all the boxes back so I could get the cookies that were missing. When we got back to the store they ended up just giving us the cookies we were short but gave us frozen oatmeal cookies instead of the chocolate chunk that we ordered and that were sitting on the counter right at the register. We didn't complain at all just went to leave and just trying to be nice we said "thank you have a nice night" to which the manager just Blaney stared at us. read more

Unfortunately this location is not well managed. They refuse to stock all items on the menu (like sweet tea as an example) as they are unable to maintain normal levels of traffic at this location. Today I went back again and they were out of bread. Yes a Jimmy Johns out of bread. Most frustrating of all, the service is just not welcoming. Other locations nearby offer a full menu and more personable service (Euclid) so I avoid going to this location despite it being closer to my home. By the way, subway is right down the street. Don't like subway as much but head to head in this situation, subway is better. read more

I guess I have to say I don't give this place a bad review.... but what they told me today made me pretty upset. We walked up to the door we couldn't open it. A guy eventually came up and opened it for us and said sorry our doors broken. I was like okay... then he says " we can only give you 2 sandwiches because we're doing catering!" I was so mad because they should be able to serve anyone no matter if there catering or not. Not very happy with this place! read more

This location is awful...There is only ever one employee working and they do not acknowledge you when you walk in. If they do, it's only rudely say, "It'll be 20 minutes and online ordering only." If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered 45 boxed lunches for an event (that started at 12pm) with a pickup time of 11:15am. When I arrived at the store the door was locked (store opens at 11am) and there was a sign on the door that said "No Bread. Be back in 30 minutes". I was SHOCKED that I was not contacted about this ahead of time. When I repeatedly called the store for answers there it just kept ringing. Finally an employee, who was apparently the manager, showed up and when I asked about my order for my event (in 45min) he had nothing to say. I asked the employee if the order would be ready by 11:45am so that I could still make my 12pm event and he said yes. So I believed him and held off on looking for an alternative lunch option for my event. At 11:45am the employee hadn't even started making my order and said the bread still wasn't done yet. At this point I was extremely frustrated that the employee was dishonest with me and I was in a horrible spot for this event and really had no option but to wait on him to make my order. By the time that my order was complete, it was 12:30pm. I sat at this store for over an hour waiting on my order and my entire event agenda had to be reorganized as a result of this Jimmy John's. The staff was unprofessional throughout the situation and I can guarantee that I will not be visiting this location ever again. I will also be letting everyone I know that they should avoid this location. Horrible. read more

Thank you Jimmy John's Cleveland for an awesome meal for our high school soccer team! You fed 56 hungry players & coaches and they loved the fresh, delicious sandwiches! We placed 3 separate orders for 3 teams, 2 picked up and 1 delivered, everything was fresh and order was accurate.
