The manager at this location decided to close the store at 3pm after I placed my order online. When I arrived at the location and asked for a refund he began to use profanity at me saying "I'm not going to make my cash drawer short by giving you a f**** refund". His tone was extremely harsh and he continued to use profanity as he walked away, I asked was there another manager and the employee stated "we're all managers". I placed an order through the Jimmy Johns mobile app for delivery one Saturday afternoon. The food is for my children who customize their sandwiches picked everything that they wanted and we were charged the $28 dollars for the order, delivery fee and tax. After over an hour I decided to call the store. There is no answer. Multiple attempts were made and no answer. I got in the car and drove up to the store at 4:45pm. The doors are locked all the lights were off and there is no sign on the front door stating that they're shut. I came back the next day. We understand that stores can shut due to staffing issues. As my office is very nearby, I frequently (~ once a week) stop in here and grab lunch to take back to work with me. Last week, I came in and got my usual (the #14 Bootlegger). However, when I got back to my office, I unwrapped the most ridiculous food item that's ever been served to me. The young African-American woman who prepared the sandwich for me had doused the sandwich so heavily in oil, I couldn't believe my eyes. I don't just mean the inside of the sandwich--I'm talking about the outside as well. The inside of the wrapper was full of oil puddles which leaked out all over my desk immediately. After the first bite, I was so sickened by it that I had to throw it away, and immediately filed a complaint online through the Jimmy John's website, which always get funneled to the proper store. When I was able to reach the store manager, John, several days later, I explained the incident and assumed it wouldn't be a problem to get a refund or replacement, as is standard with any other food establishment. However, John refused not only to refund my money for the sandwich, but also refused to even replace the sandwich for me. I explained to him that I was giving him an opportunity to retain me as the very regular customer that I am, and he sternly refused to make the incident right in any way, and essentially told me "sorry about your luck". Because of this giant middle finger I received from this establishment, I will certainly never be back to this Jimmy John's or any other, for that matter. I don't really know how someone can have a concious DISLIKE for Jimmy John's. Come on-even if they don't get everything exactly right every time, your food is being handed to you probably no more than two seconds after you finish your order. To be honest, I think they've only ever gotten my order exactly correct twice out of the several times I've been there, but I really don't mind, because the employees are nice and so darn FAST that it's hard not to go in there and smile. As for the food itself-it's pretty darn good. The bread is strangely delicious, and the Turkey Tom is always a winner for me.
