Jimmy Chungs is really nice for a buffet restaurant. The staff are very efficient and the food is good. The food is always being brought out fresh and if you require anything they are happy to help. The desserts are a little disappointing but other than that I enjoy eating there. read more

Jimmy Chung's is your classic Chinese buffet, with the usual fare of egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, fried won-ton, etc. The food's nothing special, but hey, you get what you pay for. There's also stuff like chips for those of you who don't like Chinese food very much, i.e. children, although I really don't see the point in paying all the money just to eat chips. The place is laid out well, I'll give them that, and it's very accessible - they have a lift! They have a large selection of drinks, and some Chinese (and Thai!) beer available too. The prices are OK (although I forget how much), and children under 11 are cheaper. Bear in mind, however, that the price increases as the day goes on, and after 5pm they start charging the evening prices. If you're just looking for cheap and cheerful Chinese food, Jimmy Chung's is the right place. If you want something of a better quality, you'd better go somewhere else. read more

Saturday late lunch. 7.99. Selection limited to a variety of chicken dishes, a little beef, pork. Kind of dried out unless swimming in sauce. No fish or seafood. Very limited vegetable selection, very small salad selection. A lot of greasy fried foods. Tasteless. Dessert limited to two cakes and soft ice cream. Dirty dishes were piled in bins around the buffet area. Service was poor. No greeter at the door to take us to a table. We had to get up and ask for more water, and again to find someone to pay. Good view of the river, good location. We should have payed more and gotten something better. Worst Chinese we have ever had. read more

Not the best Chinese food you will ever eat but for the price it's pretty good value especially at lunch times when you can get as much as you can eat for about £7 during the week. Try to avoid mid afternoon though as they don't replace the dishes as often and some of the food starts to dry out. The view over the river is excellent but avoid sitting by the glass wall/window in hot sunny days as you'll dry out and heat up quicker than the food. The starters are the best and I prefer to have more of that than the main courses that all have a similar taste to them which may be down to the oil used. Pretty good choice of main dishes with rice or noodles. Puddings are basic with ice cream, cake and mixed fruit salad. If you want a cheap feed though you can go far wrong. read more

Avoid this place, me and my wife had a horrible experience there. We chose to order 2 dishes in the A La Carte menu instead the buffet. When our bill came, they charged us for 4 dishes instead 2. The manager (old Chinese woman) came and said that the main meal is not enough for 1 so she gave us double portion. What an absurd!! Firstly, we didn't ask for a double portion!! Secondly, we are thin people, we don't eat so much and we can say that the portion was not doubled!!! It was barely enough for one! The manager was lying just to make money. It was obvious that this was a trick that they use to rob the tourists. They probably change everyone's bill and come up with an excuse. I just couldn't believe it, this has never happened with me in the UK!! After complaining a lot I just had 2 options, pay and get out of there or call the police. Since we were tired and we were not in mood for this, I paid the bill and left. I couldn't sleep this night after that. The manager is the most dishonest person that I have ever met and if karma really exists she will pay for this one day. Avoid this place. By the way, the food was also horrible. read more
