I am a huge fan of using Yelp so I was little skeptical, because there were a few not-so-nice previous reviews, but boy, am I SOOO happy I didn't listen to any of them! We had an engagement shoot set for middle of December.. Daytime at Malibu Beach and then Evening Shoot in Downtown LA. Tony was eager to hear my vision for the day. He was also very open to me sending him inspiration photos, which he actually referenced to during our time together! His memory was impressive and thoughtful. He came together with his love, LeAnn, and I can't rave to you how great they are as a couple to work together. They provide great direction for poses and notice the smallest details to make the pictures perfect. By the time our beach shoot was over, Tony, was waist high drenched from making sure he got the right shots for us! He also knew I was on a huge time crunch for Save the Dates so he produced all the millions of photos within a couple weeks, per my request. The editing was just jaw-dropping. This was definitely a review I've been excited to write. I feel like I'm still lacking comments on just how wonderful it was to work with him and LeAnn, but at the end of the day, I just need to say, everyone should have an experience with Tony. We booked Justin Element and his team for videography for our May 2020 wedding, which ended up…read moregetting postponed twice. Luckily, they were so easy-going with the postponements and were available for those dates, so we didn't have to look elsewhere for another vendor. My husband was very impressed with their video editing styles that we knew we had to book them. I loved their photo editing styles as well, but our venue already provided us with a photography team, so we ended up opting for an engagement session add-on as a compromise. Justin was so accommodating and patient with all of our questions and requests, and was easy to work with! We ended up having our engagement session July 2020, in the middle of the pandemic and everything was still closed. Crazy enough, we just went back to the same area recently, and my husband was surprised how it was completely empty when we had our shoot there. Justin got us our pictures back pretty quickly, and they turned out amazing!! I was a little tired from all of the running around, so I didn't look as nice later on during the session, but Justin did the best he could, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!! Our wedding ended up being in September 2021, and before our big day, Justin had a meeting with us to go over everything and answered any questions that we've had. He was well-organized and helped eased our worries! On the day of the wedding, we met Justin's team: Marvin, Christopher, and Dominique. They were amazing and shot anything and everything that they could! We loved that we were able to see the raw footage because some of the moments captured were very memorable to us! We opted for the same-day edit, because at the time we booked them, we were going to show the video during a banquet reception (that got canceled due to the pandemic), so they worked endlessly trying to edit to be able to showcase the video at the end of the night. The video turned out very well, and even our DJ, who has editing background, was very impressed as well! My mother in law loved it so much that, for weeks after our wedding, she was still showing it to everybody she knew that couldn't attend the wedding. We got our Extended Highlight film about a month or so later, and absolutely loved it!! Thank you so much Dominique for shooting and editing our videos!! My husband loves her editing style and were glad to hear that she was able to come out and edit our video! Thank you Marvin and Christopher for your cinematography skills and capturing all of the memorable (and not so memorable) moments! It was so nice to have one last "goodbye" to this amazing team at the end of the night, when most of our vendors and guests have left! Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a more better videography team than Justin Element's team. Thank you for being part of our big day! Last but not least, thank you Justin, for shooting our engagement session! It was an amazing shoot that we'd never forget, from your lovely assistant/wife, to those painful blisters from the heels that I wore halfway through the shoot; it was all worth it! The outcome came out so beautifully that we have some of them printed on canvases and are displayed around our home! I am not happy with my pictures to be honest...for the amount of time it took for us to get our pictures, I would think there would be photoshop/ editing of imperfections,people,background stuff etc. and there was none. We reached out to Jose a couple months after our wedding to check in, and see when we would receive our pics & video, and we kept getting the run around. I understand life happens, but I would also see him booking other photoshoots and just wondered when we would receive our pictures . We never got a sneak peak of our pictures either. We reached out a couple more times and as mentioned we would get push back/told to wait so we would, thinking he would come through. It wasn't until my husband messaged him telling him to reimburse us because it was taking too long, it took for us to send that message & Jose all of a sudden had our pictures ready. When I went through the pictures I was so disappointed. I felt like editing was rushed and noticed many things you think he'd edit out or fix. I think only the lighting on some pictures was adjusted because we asked for our money back, he just sent the pictures how they were or did a few lighting adjustments. Some pictures are darker than others. They took so long and I expected perfection thinking that because they took long he was really working on them smh. It's been 2 years since I've been married and just to put it out there I don't have any of my wedding pictures printed or hanging on my walls. And 2 years after I am still bothered over my pictures. I didn't even want to post or share my pictures on social media because it was a whole year after my wedding that I got them. We ended up booking a photographer out in Greece for our 1yr anniversary because I wanted a redo for my wedding pictures & although I am not in my wedding dress those are the ones I love & have up. It was like watching an episode of The Bachelor, that was how crisp and clear the picture was, and how great Jamie and his team were at switching camera angles at all the right moments. Hiring Jamie was one of the BEST decisions we made when it came to our wedding. To back up... from the beginning of planning our original wedding (pre-COVID happening and forcing us to change all of our plans), my then-fiancé (now husband) didn't understand the importance of capturing the day on video. "Aren't photos enough?" he'd say. But I have a lot of married friends and the ones who didn't hire a videographer all say they regret it. The day goes by so fast and it is such a gift to be able to re-live it. So first, whether you're a COVID bride or not, hire Jamie! Second, if you're a COVID bride, HIRE JAMIE! We were not able to have all of our friends and family present for our August wedding and being able to live-stream the ceremony allowed us to still have them be with us from afar. COVID essentially made the decision for us that if we didn't want to further postpone, our guest list would be cut from 90+ people to only 30, meaning our extended family and many of our friends couldn't come. I reached out to Jamie after seeing he offered a live-stream package and had been live-streaming weddings for quite some time. After a few initial emails and an in-person meeting at our venue (where he checked the WIFI and such to be sure everything would work from a tech perspective) we hired him. The planning process from there was super smooth and the day-of everything went perfectly. Our wedding was held on a small outdoor terrace, barely big enough for our group size, so it was tight to say the least. But both Jamie and his team were somehow nearly invisible, while still getting all the right footage/angles. You will not be disappointed if you hire Jamie!

Why am I spending my time glued to an electronic device when I should be snorkeling or enjoying a beautiful Sunset? Because Jamie is THAT amazing and totally deserves to be raved about ASAP. Jamie did a Signature Couples Video for our wedding and it was THE best thing we did for our wedding, hands down. Our guests were laughing, crying, and we literally had 20 different people coming up to us that night telling us that it was the best wedding video they'd ever seen. (And more emailed us afterwards) And we totally agree. My husbands mom kept asking us for a copy of the video so she could rewatch it, because people were laughing so loud around her that she missed a lot of the good parts!! We were a bit hesitant on spending the money to film the video at first, but now I have zero regrets. In fact, I'd say that was the best use of our money during wedding planning. From our very first meeting with Jamie at a cafe, we knew right away he'd be a great person to work with. He's professional, talented, and sooooo creative. But on the day of our wedding, Jamie came to drop off the video dvd with my wedding coordinator at the hotel while I was getting ready, and I was soooo happy to find out he was there and demanded to see him!!!
