Authentic, fresh Aussie pies.
Ambience: Nice clean tuck-shop feel. Seating inside & out in a quiet side street. Only a few parking spots directly in front, though.
Service: Friendly and bi-lingual (Aussie/Chileno). Aussie ex-pat owners who are happy to chat about "home".
Food: Great pies of all sorts of flavors (mostly beef + something, or chicken + something) . These are what your childhood memories are made of if you grew up in Aus. Only they are excellent quality. They also had lammingtons and hot cross buns the day I was there and they were great too. Other than sausage rolls and ANZAC biscuits, that seems to be pretty much it, but who could want for more? You can get to-go which is good for planning for pies throughout the week.
Price: A bargain: I think each pie was $2,500 or so (3 pies, lammington and HC bun were a mere $10,700).
