I am a perfectionist myself and hard to impress, but Bob was amazing. We found Bob simply from taking his business card at a tile store in Norwood (Buddy's Discount Tile). The first time I called him on a Sunday morning, he answered right away and scheduled to come by the next night. He showed up right on time, gave a thorough explanation of what we could/couldn't do on our floor, and provided a written estimate on the spot. The price was reasonable and Bob said we could save some money if we pulled up most of the floor and handled uninstallation/re-installation of our appliances (stove & dishwasher). I was happy to do the labor there and it saved us several hundred dollars. Bob scheduled to come and start the work at the end of the week on Friday, and said it would be a 2-day job. My wife and I ripped up the old pine floor over the next few days with some tools Bob was kind enough to lend us! (Professional crow bar really makes a difference!) Bob said he'd arrive at 9 AM Friday morning to start, and boy did he literally arrive on time, like 9:00 on the absolute dot. He got right to work finishing up the floor removal we couldn't do, then prepping the floor to install a subfloor. He arrived right on time Saturday morning--actually a little too early as he was blocking my wife's car in the driveway!--and finished up the work by early afternoon. He is extremely detail oriented and was very particular about ensuring the tiles were laid down perfectly. He also suggested we tile the bottom of our cabinets (i.e. over the existing white pine) which we weren't too sure about, but it looked awseome when done... like they're just floating above the floor. In addition, we needed a couple of stairs to our basement replaced--they were seriously cracked--so he offered to fix them. His assistant picked up some new pine (I paid them back, of course) and he installed them in a jiffy. Plus our basement door was not closing properly and he offered to fix that as well. He did both these fixes unrelated to the floor project free of charge. The floor came out great and looks amazing. All in all it was an absolute pleasure to work with Bob; I would absolutely recommend him; and absolutely hire him again in the future. Bob is much more than a "tile guy" -- he is a very experienced and skilled general contractor and all around great guy.

Well his eye and attention to detail got us that and so much more. He replaced a tile floor, fixed the kitchen sink, power washed the front of the house, fixed a thermostat, did all kinds of those little repairs that make a big difference. We sold our house shortly after. Dan is professional and makes suggestions without being pushy. He does high quality work and his pricing is reasonable. He and his team did a great job containing dust and any other messes related to the painting - the numerous bookshelves were carefully covered in plastic, and they moved furniture as necessary to get the work done well. This was a challenging job and Tom went above and beyond with extra sanding, extra coats, extra touch-ups as needed. He patched all nail holes in the wall, and repaired a severely damaged door so that it no longer needs to be replaced. Tom is very knowledgeable, and knew what special attention the molding, window casings and interior of the closet and shelves would need, and went the extra mile to ensure those special areas were treated so they would hold up to the wear and tear of kids playing in this space. And I now have such a better background for all the online meetings I need to do working from home! Tom's work truly transformed the space and we are grateful for his meticulous work.

Our kitchen is now bright, updated and looks brand new. This is a reliable family owned painting company. They are very good at communicating with their clients. They are also punctual. They did a great job preparing the space for painting. I was impressed by the level of attention to detail given to painting each cabinet. The day the cabinet doors were being put back up Priscila came by to make sure everything was well done and in good order. I appreciate her keen attention to detail as she noticed a couple of the doors needed an additional coat of paint to fully match the rest. I am so grateful she caught that. Some tips for your cabinet painting project: 1. Empty out the cabinets completely. It's easier for the painter to really get in there to cover the inside of the cabinet. The over spray just has a way of getting everywhere. 2. Cover your stove top with plastic. Again, the over spray gets in between the layers of paper. 3. If you get a chance, wipe the surfaces immediately after the paint has been completed. As long as the paint is fresh it will come off but once it's dry it's there forever. We didn't have any major issues with this because we got ahead of it.
