We initially got a quote in 2020 and held off due to Covid19. I had him requote in 2021 but even with an increase in paint prices, he said he would honor the old quoted price. Robert is a hard worker, does a great job, is reliable, professional and cares about his work. He said about a week and he did it a little faster than that and finished early. I really like the job he did and the way it turned out. I highly recommend Robert if you need someone to paint your house.

They repaired ceiling stains from an old roof leak. This is a 2-story vaulted ceiling that I didn't want to deal with. They patched holes and filled cracks that I hadn't even noticed. They put primer over the water stains and gave me good suggestions about the color and finish. They did a very clean job: all the paint was where it should be. The floor and windows were left without paint. They cleaned up after themselves too. Best of all, they were polite and honest and I felt like I could trust them. It was a father and son pair, Robert and Delvin, who did the work. They don't farm the work out to strangers. They made a genuine effort to do good quality work. I'm very happy with the results and will recommend them to my relatives in Temecula. I got a good value for the quality of work they did. I'm not affiliated with this business in any way besides being a satisfied customer.

Steve contracts out his work to painters and while some of them are good skilled tradesmen, many are kids that are learning the trade. The foremen's job is then to take the responsibility to make sure that their mistakes, and experience does not reflect onto Steve. There were mistakes and overspray in places that could have been better covered but the floors were left in a state where I was forced to hire another contractor to clean up after them. Steves response to the floors lack of cover, painting while while not putting down any cover and straight up lying about issues left a bad feeling with me at the end of the job. For the price that I paid I did not get the level skill and comfort that I should have gotten. I checked on the job 4 times only to find critical mistakes from the team and then treated like the trash he was unable to haul away. Steves response was to demand I pay the bill the day before we did the walkthrough and when I was still displeased he insulted my floors, saying they weren't expensive enough for him to care and told me no one would care. I care Steve, I care. The next saturday Steve showed up on site, unannounced, removed any excess paint that we might have used for touch ups and then send me a letter threatening a lien. We paid Steve, but really hope no one else has to deal with him.

I believe most people may feel somewhat apprehensive about contacting someone they haven't worked…read morewith before, especially when it involves a significant financial commitment to paint a home. There's often a moment of uncertainty until the meeting occurs and a quote is provided. Additionally, selecting the right colors can be challenging; wondering whether the chosen shade will match the sample or online representation can be frustrating. From our very first conversation, Joey put me at ease. He is genuinely kind and professional. He informed me that he would follow up within a few days with a quote, which he did, and it met my expectations. The cost was under what I had anticipated, so I responded, and he called to schedule a start date. The project was scheduled for a few weeks out, not months. My initial anxiety stemmed from this being my first time painting a house, and I was concerned about making the right choices, including the colors. Joey was very patient, answering all my questions thoroughly and offering guidance, regardless of the time I reached out to him. On the day they began power washing the house, everything went smoothly. Joey got my final decisions on colors (making one color change recommendation) and went to buy paint to start the next day. I am SO happy he changed the color of the trim because I would have hated the color I picked... Love the one he picked; it's perfect! They provided a clear plan for the upcoming work each day before leaving. The team included a very attentive young man who meticulously taped and prepped the house--everything was thoroughly covered. During the painting process, Joey regularly inspected the work and pointed out areas that needed touch-ups, which I might not have noticed myself. The attention to detail was impressive, especially when they used very fine brushes, I couldn't see it, but he did. Then the trim. Meticulous! At one point, they were using a paintbrush so fine that it seemed more suited for a canvas. I am extremely happy with the workmanship of Joey Lanza and his Team. I would recommend this company to anyone. Six Stars!! Thanks Again Guys!

Outstanding Work from Hoffman's Painting!…read more We couldn't be happier with the work Hoffman's Painting did on the exterior of our home and perimeter wall. From the very beginning, their attention to detail was exceptional. The preparation was just as impressive as the painting itself. They took the time to repair every single nail hole, crack, and split piece of wood before painting. The level of preparation and care they put into the project truly made a difference in the finished product. They also applied two full coats of paint, which many painters don't include without charging an additional fee. The entire team was professional, hardworking, meticulous, and respectful of our property. A special thank you to Carlos, Eber, and Jose for their excellent work, and to Rudy, the project manager, for keeping everything organized and making sure the job was done right. It's clear that Hoffman's Painting takes pride in their work, and it shows. Our house looks absolutely beautiful, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a painting company that truly cares about quality and customer satisfaction. Thank you, Hoffman's Painting, for an incredible job! We absolutely love the results!

We got what I knew to be a very good quote especially when you consider Hoffman's always does two coats - most do not unless you pay extra ( that's precisely why we're repainting after only 7 years). They did excellent stucco and wood prep. Every hole, scar, blemish, scratch and crack were patched appropriately. The level of detail was mind blowing (I've dealt with professional painters at least 7 times in my personal life). The care and concern for masking and taping not just windows, but every single potential issue was mitigated by covering or moving. Without being hyperbolic, the house looks new and light-years better than 7 years ago. They left no mess or evidence of having been here aside from a beautifully refreshed home. I did find that my suitcases and my cooler were victims of me not thinking about spray coming in the upper garage vent, but really think I should have thought about that. I cannot say enough about this company or this crew (Carlos, Eber, and Juan).

I waited 30 minutes before calling to see if something had happened. He answered and said "Oh, what's your address, I can be there in 20 minutes." He arrived 30 minutes later and gave us the quote. He took his time and wrote out exactly what we needed. His quote was thorough and seemed reasonable. The reason for my 1-star rating is because when we were ready to schedule, we called and called and no one ever answered. My husband also tried and left messages that were never returned. I know they are a busy company, but it shouldn't be that hard to schedule once a quote has been provided. Perhaps Doug needs to hire a receptionist to help with phones. We ended up going with another company and I'm so glad we did. They did a wonderful job! They were also Yelp verified and backed by a $2,500 protection by Yelp. Unfortunately, the owner continues his online crusade to discredit me and I'm backed into a corner to prove the legitimacy of my concerns. I've added a video showing yellowing throughout the house. This is not a moisture issue. When the work was finished caulking was not yellowed, but I found several areas throughout the house that were not caulked at all. I was also was unhappy with the gap between boards and the floor. The owner is correct when he says I signed a contract indicating that this would not be done. I was guided into this and later found out that it is not always standard practice. Nonetheless, I signed this contract and feel that it would be unfair for me to grade based upon this problem alone, hence the updated increase to my rating. When painting was finished I did voice my discontent with the way things turned out. The owner became defensive about his work. His strategy was to deflect these concerns as a me problem, rather than a workmanship problem. I can remember feeling pressured at the end of the job to agree that things were satisfactory and reluctantly paid. There was no call back to fix the yellowing because his arrogance turned me off. I did not want him back in my house. I've lived in the house for years, looking at my unsightly baseboards. Every time I walk through my hallways I'm reminded of how frustrated I am that I paid good money for this. I do not like publicly shaming a company, but in this case it's necessary. After years I finally posted a review. The bottom line is that the job is substandard. I have to have things repainted at my own expense and I'm very disappointed about it.
