If your kiddies love dinosaurs, then this is the place to be! We visited Jurassic Quest this past…read moreweekend in Toronto, the entire production travels from city to city in Canada and the US. Think the we're recently in Hamilton and Niagara as well, check their website to see if they're coming to a city near you. The first part of the experience were dinosaur exhibits. These were full-sized animatronic dinosaurs, some moved their heads or tails, while others were stationary. The lighting and set up were a nice touch. There were signs by the dinosaurs that listed some quick facts. There was a table with real fossils and there was an expert there to answer any questions that you might have. You can take as much or as little time as you want - my kids just wanted to get to the bouncy castles asap. As this event took place in the Enercare Center, hall A and B, there was lots of space. Unfortunately, they could've put more stuff in. There were only 5 bouncy castles, stationary dinosaurs that moved in place, ride-on dinosaurs that walked a bit, toddler battery operated jeeps, a toddler play area, excavation section (both to chip away at a piece of fossil and another sandbox like excavation area), inflated basketball/soccer area. We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and it was packed. All the bouncy castles had long lines, like 10m wait for each one. The ride on dinosaur rides were equally as bad if not worse. The organizers should've either had timed entry or put in more attractions to alleviate the crowds. The souvenirs were ridiculous - $25 for a helium dinosaur balloon that cost 15 cents to buy from China. The admission wasn't cheap either - $27.50 for the basic admission (same price for adults and children), but your kid will want to do all the activities - so you can pay as you go per activity or pay $45 per child which includes admission and unlimited play. I did find that the lines were a whole lot shorter by 5:30/6:00pm. Overall, it was a fun experience, but for the price, I would've liked shorter lines and more attractions.

Nestled conveniently right beneath the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is Toronto's favorite…read moredestination for paying top dollar to look at kidnapped sea creatures in glass cages. The Canadian Waters gallery, where you can marvel at local species like bass and cod that you could have easily seen for free at a dock. The Rainbow Reef is a colorful display almost convincing us that tropical fish enjoy living inside a landlocked concrete prison. The "Dangerous Lagoon," featuring North America's longest moving walkway, which ensures you move past the sharks at a strictly controlled pace so you don't linger too long...it was crazy crowded here on Labour Day weekend! You'll spend most of that shark tunnel journey dodging hundreds of people trying to take the exact same blue-lit selfie for Instagram and Tik tok. The Discovery Centre: kids get the thrill of dipping their hands into a touch pool to harass and molest unsuspecting stingrays and horseshoe crabs. Somewhere in the middle, you'll encounter an exhibit showing off the aquarium's water filtration system, because nothing screams "fun family outing" like staring at industrial pipes and plumbing. After fighting through dense crowds and aggressive strollers(Labour Day Weekend, avoid!), you are artfully funneled straight into the gift shop to buy a $40 plush shark as a prize for your survival. Ultimately, it's a brilliant attraction where you can spend an hour stepping on people's heels while realizing the fish are having a much more relaxing day than you are. At least Covid is over...great variety of sea life to learn about and adore. All the glass sealife prison cells appeared to be well maintained and clean. This place is 2 or 3 Stars when visiting on Labour Day weekend...but I imagine its a 5 Star experience on a quiet weekday when all the loud misbehaved children are back in school, and the terrible parents are back in their soulless day jobs. If you're a tourist like me, buy the CityPass to save money.

High probability that this will be the first and last time I'll be in here. Likely the largest aquarium that I've been to in recent memory. Pro tip. If you're visiting TO for the first time, get a CityPass. You'll save quite a bit on the admission prices on certain *must* visit attractions.

There are 3 courts for badminton, and the same space is used for other sports. There is also a running track upstairs where you can run 19 laps, which is equivalent to 1 mile. There's also a nice swimming pool, along with an area for ping pong. I heard there is a workout room somewhere, but I have still yet to explore the rest of the facility. Just today I discovered some music rooms downstairs!!!! This community center keeps surprising me with new discoveries lol. The quality of this place is not too new, but it's not falling apart either. It is nicely maintained. The best part.... free parking lol.

There's a small but smart weight room, great pool, gym with a new floor and lots of multipurpose and studio space. For new parents, families new to the area, or anyone who wants to get or stay active, it's the perfect place. My only criticism ever was with the kids karate instructor. He seems to like to make kids cry, seems to have a chip on his shoulder and in general isn't that good at karate. That's one minus in 3 years of pluses, so whatever.
