I had oil change yesterday evening. Woke up this morning with about 2 quarts of oil in the driveway. My thought was "did they forgot to put a filter? After paying $86.97 for an oil change ". Then looking at the receipt they put a note "jiffylube is not liable if the spark plug comes out of oil pan". No one said ANYTHING to me about any issue with oil pan or spark plug or whatever this note was trying to say. You want cars in and out fast and get paid but zero concern for quality? What if all the oil have come out while I got on the highway? Put less emphasis on speed and actually provide even a bare minimum amount of service. read more

I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes and paid $80 for a simple oil change. I get they were busy but with a name like "Jiffy" lube, you would expect someone to warn you that you would be looking at a long wait before they sent you into their filthy dungeon of a waiting room. And if you don't get a warning you would at least expect an apology for holding you in a claustrophobic inducing germ box for close to two hours. Between the obscene price they charge and the amount of time they hold you hostage, I just don't see a reason to ever set foot in a jiffy lube ever again. It was an awful experience read more

I have gotten 3 oil changes here over the past 18 or 20 months and there is always a wait. It gets busy. I have tried lunch hour (bad idea), Saturday (worse idea) and after work (not as bad as lunch, but maybe that is because I don't feel the stress of having to rush back to the office in under an hour). Staff is competent and prices are fair. No issues and so far I will keep coming back. Gonna try a random time (like 10:30 on a Tuesday or 2:30 on a Thursday) one of these days to see if it is any less crowded. read more

WORST MANAGER EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE OF OIL CHANGES!!! Today I had the worst 15 minutes at this Jiffy Lube on Concord pike Wilmington. CSA John R. (manager) demanded I type my car information on his computer and I informed him I'm an old customer to just look me up. He suddenly erupted and shouted to me "I have no time for your NONSENSE!!!." All that within 3 minutes of our interaction with Jiffy Lube staff. He also exhibited extreme anger and aggression like something was wrong within his head. I asked him NOT to do the Oil change due to his hostility. The other employees asked me to just ignore his aggression and just get the oil change. "Fast forward" when paying the cashier, Nicholas, John comes to the reception and shouts "Get this Nigga out of my store!!" (FYI-JOHN, I'm not a "Nigga". I'm a Jiffy Lube Customer). The other employees looked in dismay and again apologized for John's eggressive behavior and wished there was more they could do help. My message to Jiffy Lube c/o New Horizon Lubricant LLC. & Bob: You have an ARROGANT man that cares very little about your business. You also have a man willing to be aggressive In your Business. Absolutely the worst Jiffy Lube I have ever visited for the following reasons: 1. Staff - incredibly rude and disrespectful. I took my 2015 Lexus NX in for service and the first thing the guy said when I pulled up is "oh yeah you [i.e. brown people] have all the money." Then he proceeded to make any comments about the polo shirt I was wearing and how that attests to and affirms his previous comment about "us" having all the money. 2. Service - people servicing my vehicle had very dirty hands and did not bother to clean them before touching the beige leather interior of my vehicle. I had to spend an hour scrubbing it down afterward to get all of the dashboard and inside the drivers side door! Absolutely ridiculous! 3. Lack of Consideration - they took my wheel lock key to perform the tire rotation and then just threw it in the back of the trunk when they were done! Never even bothered to tell me where it was. I heard it rolling around while I was driving and had to pull over to locate it and put it back! I have to be careful with it since no wheels can ever be removed without it! I strongly recommend staying away from this place, totally useless! Especially if you have an expensive car, be careful here! read more

First time at this Jiffy. The attendant was super friendly and did not judge me when I admitted to owning this car for a year and never changing the oil. Once inside I was surprised to see some truly comfy looking chairs and not those hard connected plastic things. I will save my last star for when I get my car back. Update: These guys get my vote for being 100% customer service driven, professional and fast. I was impressed with the efficiency of the process and how I was guided in with my car, shown to the waiting room, the clarity with which the services were explained to me and what my options were and last being escorted to my car, having the door opened for me and thanking me for my business. Went on Boxing Day and the team was very attentive both to service and to Covid protocols. They gave me the option of waiting in my car or in the lounge, and once it was time for my service the lounge was spaced for social distancing, and there was a sign offering those who did not want to wear a mask an option to sit outside. The tech walked me through all of the options, showed me several things that would be due soon but were not necessary now, and was very quick and efficient. The whole process was fast, easy and safe. Got an oil change here mid-afternoon on a Thursday- there was one patron ahead of my vehicle. The staff was courteous and polite, seats we're comfy and clean- coffee was fresh and the temperature was just right- music level was sufficiently loud to hear it but not so loud that you couldn't ignore it if you were reading or on the phone- magazines were current-cost was as expected, and I was all set in a jiffy. When I arrived they had a lot of cars so I was unsure as what to do. The employees just pointed and waved for me to go to different places to drive around so I did. There was a parked truck that wasn't on and no one inside so I thought it was just a parking spot so I pulled in front of it. I didn't know that it was the start of a line. I had no direction as to how they were doing things they just expected me to know. So one gentleman came up to me and told me it's ok and how to leave the car and took me to the seating area but then as I get out of the car an older bald guy loudly starts talking shit about me to the guy who's taking me to the waiting area. Essentially calling me stupid because I pulled in front of a parked off service truck. He told me 'the stop sign is there for a reason'. I asked him how long it would take for my car to be seen and he said 'oh my god' out loud then replied to me, 'the longer you sit there, the longer it's going to take. I can't rave enough about my experience at this Jiffy Lube. I needed my oil changed desperately. I went first thing on a Sunday morning. The staff was super friendly. The chairs in the waiting room are comfortable and they had plenty of magazines to keep me occupied. I don't feel like they tried to up sell me which was very much appreciated. Thanks to Brendan and the staff for making it a pleasant experience. I would like to update my review after a not so good experience recently. I will not be returning after I was approached by the manager after a tire rotation and was informed that my lug nut was stripped. Not only was the lug nut stripped but the bolt was stripped. It is not only inconvenient to have the tire serviced but it is money out of my pocket that I should not have to pay for. There was no ownership by Jiffy Lube even though it was my only tire rotation to a 1 year old vehicle. I had a horrible experience. Along with my oil change, I had my wipers replaced. They replaced them with the wrong size wipers and when I questioned it, the person I was talking to got extremely defensive and rude. I left but went back the next day aftee I found out that yes indeed they had used the wrong size wipers. I asked for the manager and he same guy as the previous day came out again. Today was my second time going to this jiffy lube for an oil change. I just have to say, what a great experience! Both times I was treated so nicely by the men that work there. My car was cleaned out, fluids topped off, and car was vacuumed. The man behind the counter let me know my inspection was past due and I told him it was because I didn't have my current insurance cards and he printed them out for me so I could get it inspected. My husband brought his car in to get new brakes and rotors. The end result was going through a red light and almost running into the back of another vehicle because we were unable to stop. Brought the car back only to be told we had to wait until Friday (three days later) to get it fixed because that is the only time the only person who can fix it will be there. In addition, we have to pay an additional couple of hundred dollars to get this new new problem resolved. Very disappointed!! read more

I had the absolute best experience at this Jiffy Lube. The entire team was so polite. They were very matter of fact with what I needed done, and did not try to push any products on me. Very unhappy with the service at this store. My car is a little lower then most cars and instead of them caring or anything they drive the car and bang the bottom of my car as I watched the entire situation happen. Then to make matters even worst the employee picks up the rubber gaskets that holds the exhaust km tight and throws them away. As I confront them about this situation the manager tells me that the car didn't hit the bottom as if I didn't just watch. And the employee lies about ever picking them up. So instead of being a stand up company they tell me they can't work on the car and that they didn't cause damage to the car. As I leave pissed I notice a loud vibrating sound from the exhaust. Sound to be vibrating on something or a messed up resignator . I will never go back they do not care about your car and will treat it like a peace of shit. read more

I do not recommend this location. I routinely get the oil changed on our two cars on the same weekend. In our last visit, They did not tighten the oil caps on both cars. On one car it simply caused a big oil mess I had to clean up. On the other, it caused engine damage. The engine solenoids had to be replaced. Again, another oil mess. I wish I had noticed earlier, but the key point is that these guys can't even do a simple oil change properly. Two cars - same weekend. Utterly Incompetent. read more

I have never been so sorry I choose this place for my automotive needs. On 8/3/18, our car was taken in for an oil change. The following morning, we decided to take it back for a transmission fluid change. This car had no leak or issue before our visit. While there, no one announced any concerns while or after the work had been done. On 8/7/18, I received a distress call from my son who was stuck on the highway. The car shut down, making loud noises. It had to be towed to a service center where they established no oil in the car. The oil stick was completely dry. I announced that it had just had an oil change 4 days ago. I went back to Jiffy Lube. Management came to the automotive shop to examine the car. They could not see why this happened. The manager asked me to get a diagnostic and estimate of the damage and get back to them and that he would notify the owner. On 8/10/18, the service center told me that something was now broken in the engine and it would be costly to fix. They also remarked that they did not see evidence of an oil leak that large. They suggested I contact JL headquarters. I did just that. Well, headquarters was no help. They reported it to the owner who called to say they didn't bear any responsibility to fix it. Since my situation, I have had at least six people tell me they had some issue with their car after a visit here. We had to junk our car because of the cost. Save yourself the trouble! read more

Incompetent, rude and unprofessional They failed to put back my tire caps correctly, which resulted in me getting a flat tire within the next few hours of service. I know that it was the result of their incompetence to do a basic task, because upon inspection of the flat tire, there were no holes or any damage to it -- it just needed air, and yes, someone to correctly screw in the cap. Also, the mechanics are rude. They sound like they're giving you orders when you're the customer. No customer relationship skills whatsoever. They are loud, they move slowly, and constantly chatting when they should be working on your car. I won't go back to this place to waste more money. read more

Jiffy lube failed to tighten my oil filter, and 3 quarts of oil drained out of my car. Car was in great shape and had 60,000 miles. Thankfully I caught it before it all drained out otherwise my engine would have seized up and been completely ruined. NEVER GO TO ANY JIFFY LUBE!!! I called and complained and they said that I had no way to verify that the filter was not tightened and this actually happened. The manager went on to say that people call all the time to complain about stuff like that and that everyone is probably just a scammer trying to get something out of them. Like, what?!? In March of 2009 I came to Jiffy Lube to change oil. The manager of the store told me they had a promotion: get 3 oil changes, and the 4th is free. I asked to give me something in writing for this promotion, he said there was no need, it is all on the computer. Since then my husband and I have been going to Jiffy Lube to change oil for both of our cars in anticipation of the 4th "FREE" oil change for his car and for the 4th "Free" oil change for my car. Today I went to Jiffy Lube for my long anticipated 4th "free oil change". I came to a register where another manager told me they did not have this promotion anymore, they had it before....The manager told me they now have another promotion: 2 oil changes and the third is 50% off. I asked if I get 50% of the oil change and the answer is "NO" even though it was my 3d oil changes since the begining ot this other "promotion". This is what I would call MISREPRESENTATION!
