Reply to the owner:…read more I don't tell a fake story you keep lying you could not remove the dipstick and you pushed it further down you never offered to get another one, you told me to go buy another one at amazon or Canadian tire and from the first day I told that is how much the mechanic said it cost in labor between 150 and 200 + the new dipstick for 50.00 $ total is $ 250.00 . I came many times and your boys refuse to tell me when you will be back and never advised me that you will pay for the damage you have done. The minute the dipstick get stuck you should have instructed your employee that you will compensate all or part oft he damage, buit you are greedy and and never cared to pay one dollar from your pocket to do the right thing and be responsible for the damage you have done by your novice beginner employee who know nothing about changing oil or handling auto parts. The dipstick was already working when I came to check the oil don't lie and say the dipstick was broken. Your employee is lying to you. You employee broke it on purpose I saw it with my eyes. If you really fear God you would pay the $ 250.00 and then I can remove all these bad "reality reviews" but since you kept me in limbo like this paying the entire bill alone then you don't fear God and no customer will trust you anymore. You deserve nothing but a bad review because you broke the cap and you REFUSE to pay the bill for $ 250.00. Own it and do the right thing.

DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL. I REPEAT. DO NOT COME HERE!! If I…read morecould give negative stars, I definitely would! Thank God I didn't pay for the service. I decided to try out this place since I am a Goodlife member and you get 10% off the service. I called earlier to ask for the cost of a basic conventional oil change, and the guy on the phone said $25.99. I thought that was odd since that's quite cheap! I decided to go the next day anyway to try it out. I went inside the shop and the guy at the counter said that cost of conventional oil change is $45.99. Not sure if the guy on the phone said it wrong and trolled me or if I had heard it wrong, either way, I went with it since I would get a 10% off at the end. The guy asked for my car model and then proceeded to drive my car into the garage. They opened the hood and within a minute the guy came back to me and said that my car needed synthetic oil (which is $20 more and pricier, but better in quality. This I knew). I told the him that I have always used basic conventional and that it even said in my car manual. The guy then said, "Well, sure, but I could put cooking oil in there and our company will not take coverage of it if anything happens". This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Basically, he said that he will only care if I purchase the synthetic oil. There's really no choice for me here. If I ask for conventional oil, it will probably screw up my engine because who knows what he will put in there (e.g., cooking oil as he had mentioned). I decided to NOT go with this service and just asked him to give me back my car. RIDICULOUS. They definitely just lost customers.

While this review may be somewhat lengthy, I urge any reader to take the time to read it, as I am…read moresure that it will be worth your while. The industry norm for ratings seems to be up to 5 stars, the people at Master Mechanic Matheson deserve at least double that, and it is my opinion that their name says it all "MASTER MECHANIC' as these folks have done the "almost impossible". How many of us over the past have had a vehicle they wish they had never sold! As an occasional collector of unique automobiles, I have a favourite, and this one I have never sold. Purchased new with some added horsepower by the folks at Nascar, my pride and joy is a 1996 Lincoln MK VIII LSC. While this vehicle is relatively low miliage, at 27 years old, parts are failing more due to age than wear and tear. Time for a fairly substantial overhaul, a complete vehicle inspection was performed, and identified 11 problem areas each supported by a detailed description and supporting pictures. A work order was then supplied with cost estimates for each repair/replacement. Parts, however, are extremely hard to find as there are apparently only 12 of these vehicles still registered, difficult to source parts (some of which took days to find, and could only be found in the USA) were obtained by Kirk the (Service Advisor), and installed by Edward, Rashidul, and possibly other Technicians. These parts included a Power Steering Rack and Pump with various hoses, A/C Compressor and associated hoses, front upper Ball Joint, Sway Bar Link, wiring for rear tail lights, and for safety sake, and not available as parts, new steel brake lines (and transmission lines) were hand crafted and installed by the Technicians, completely replacing the old lines. I can't express how impressed I am as these folks have worked wonders, and everyone there deserves a personal thank you for the courteous, professional and efficient service they have provided. And after all that, they even had the courtesy to wash my car! I can only rate them as 100% !!! Tony Kemp, Mississauga, On.
