I was called fat by the general manager (Ben Kuluva) and he asked if I wanted peanuts because I said I felt like an elephant. I later found out that he said he would have to put a bag over my head in order to look at me. not only is that fat shaming but the bag comment made me extremely uncomfortable and made me feel like he wanted to do sexual things to me. I will not be returning to this establishment and I recommend others (especially females) do not either, as the GM will make sexually charged and fatphobic comments. read more

Should be 0 stars. Came in for an oil change today Left. Got about half a mile down the road and my skid plate almost fell completely off and my skid plate is now damaged. Called and came back to have it reattached. Team lead hid in the little office. All the techs avoided me. Heard the lower bay tech say "i forgot to tighten them all in all the way" Requested to speak to the team lead who knew i was in the lobby and claimed to be "looking at emails" on her phone There was zero customer service as i walked in and the assistant manger thought he was tough or something trying to stand over me and stare at me very aggressively while trying to interject himself into my conversation with his team lead after i express my concerns and got irritated with the team lead who was smirking at me saying "it's just a skid plate". If any of my employees under me would of conducted themselves like that i'd fire both of them on the spot. Zero accountability. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely lazy. The rating speaks for itself here at 2.9. I paid 95$ for an oil change - be it a last resort location - and no wonder this location had ZERO people waiting to get serviced. read more

I had made a long drive through a blizzard from Iowa to Kansas in March. My engine light went on when I arrived in Lenexa. The crew at Jiffy Lube was able to get my car in quickly, assess the problem, top off fluids, check the oil, and get me back on the road. The lobby is closed because of the Coronavirus so customers are being asked to stay in their vehicles during services. I'll admit, I am a little nervous that I'm going to drive my car right into the hole they stand in to oil changes but I'm happy Jiffy Lube is taking precautions. Destroyed our engine, now won't call us. Got our oil changed here like we always do. Car started driving weird and making funny noises after awhile so we took it into a mechanic for an inspection. They were able to determine that "whoever did our last oil change" had bungled it so badly that our engine needed to be completely replaced. I called the location and spoke with an employee. She provided me an email address to contact for help (warranty@jiffylube.com). I also asked to speak to a manager, but was told no one was available. They said someone would call me back if I left my number, so I did. I immediately sent an email as instructed. I also submitted a customer service inquiry online to Team Car Care (owner of this location). My car is still sitting at the mechanic's shop while I wait for a response for over a week- no call back, no response to my multiple emails. I'll update this review with info on how it turns out, but beware... a simple oil change here could cost you your entire vehicle. Not worth it... go somewhere local that will care enough to at least call you back when they screw it up. read more

Went in for an oil change, and was in and out super quick. Staff was very nice and helpful. They found an issue with my coolant reservoir when they were topping it off, and went above and beyond in explaining what I needed to do in order to get it fixed. I can't review the actual oil change, because they turned me away. I pulled up at 4:40 on a Sunday, knowing they close at 5, but also knowing a basic oil change takes about 10 minutes. A staff member came out to greet me, telling me it had been a slow day and they turned everything off at 4:30. So I guess they were just sitting around running down the clock, getting paid for turning away business. Thankfully, the folks at Valvoline were happy to take my money, even though they closed at the same time. I was able to get in and out at Valvoline before 5, even after driving several blocks to get there. I work in customer service myself, and I am required to service everyone who walks through my door before posted closing times. Perhaps Jiffy Lube should have the same policy. DO NOT GO HERE!!! The service is terrible, I was definitely taken advantage of as a young woman. They purposely wrote down my email wrong so I didn't receive an email receipt until my mom called and then they lied to her claiming I was told the price up front. I WAS NOT! So when my total for a simple oil change was over $100 I was shocked. When I finally did get the receipt, I noticed I was supposed to have signed also. Someone there forged my signature. They made me feel very uncomfortable, and are liars. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

I do not recommend coming here. I came for an oil change. My dad taught me well growing up so I know what's what when my car is concerned. They tried to convince me to buy many other services that I didn't need (haven't been able to find a place that doesn't do this). I politely declined and was satisfied with the service I received as I left. However, the next day my car started shifting gears hard and when I checked my transmission fluid it was at a dangerously low level. I can't say for sure that this was Jiffy Lube's doing, but I do know that when there is no leak transmission fluid does not disappear over night. I value honesty most when choosing where to take my business. If you do too I recommend going elsewhere. read more

This is going to be a quick review because these ladies got my car's oil changed in less than ten minutes at lunch time. They were able to help me get my car ready to go on a road trip for the weekend including fixing a latch problem with my door free of charge simply because they noticed it was a problem and wanted to get me taken care of. I wish I could give 0 stars, but have to give one. I took my car there towards the middle of last year for an oil change. I noticed when popping the hood of my car a couple weeks ago to add some wiper fluid that my car didn't have an oil cap. I called Jiffy Lube and the guy on the phone simply stated "ma'am, we don't forget to put those back on". Well sike - they do, according to Advanced Auto Parts, when I went to purchase a new oil cap - they wouldn't trust them to change their lawn mowers oil. It gets better, after trying three different caps, none of them fit. Welp, come to find out it was stripped as well, never had a problem before. So i'm out more money for a crappy overpriced oil change that they probably didn't even actually change, plus more things to fix now. Stay stay stay away. read more

Went here for an oil change and tire rotation. Manager (Mike) was friendly and courteous, and he explained what they'd look for beforehand, saying they wouldn't change my air filter, etc. unless necessary. I appreciated that. My vehicle was done within the time they promised, and it was generally a pleasant experience overall. As I left, one of the mechanics told me to have a good day. Bottom line, I will go back for routine work such as this. I felt comfortable and trust the guys I'm dealing with. read more

This staff is the most diverse staff i have been with... The store has 2 male managers and 2 female managers as well as another female who is technician. 3 out 8 staff members are female and they are all awesomely trained. One star is probably an overstatement. Ridiculously overpriced. The girl at the counter tried to tell me my car was German, and it requires special treatment(synthetic oil)...I am aware, but it's a Volvo. She then argued that it was German. No, it's a Swedish vehicle(owned now by a Chinese company). I'm not an idiot. It's my 6th SWEDISH Volvo. If you want to try to talk customers into unnecessary services and up charge, don't argue and at least appear to know what you're talking about. After finishing the service and I am paying, they reel off all they "did" to the car, including a vacuum. I wasn't expecting a vacuum, so I was kinda excited. I get into the vehicle and it is so blatantly obvious it was NOT vacuumed. Believe it or not, I'm not usually a complainer, but after the earlier experience, that was it for me. If you say you are doing a service, DO IT. The manager did take it back in to the bay and gave it a 2 minute effort. Whatever....I won't be back and definitely don't recommend wasting your $ here. read more
