the service took forever and just seemed like something was not going as usual. then i saw this the next day! the undercarriage protector dangling on ground from last bolt. what else could have gone wrong? update - after contacting jiffy lube, they acknowledged the mistake, came up with a fix, offered a transmission service free and gave me 20%off of gear box service a total of 3 and saved me some cash. i am satisfied with service and will return again. well done good job taking responsibility and offering solutions. thanks to manager jeremy! read more

I stopped in at the Jiffy lube service center (3433) over in Heber due to one of my tires having a slow leak. It was stormy and cold but they didn't hesitate to greet me and ask what I needed. I explained the issue and less than 5 minutes later I was given my car without the leaky tire. The crew, Antonio, Jason, and Gary were awesome! I'll def be going back simply for their service! I had another car company mess up my brakes during a repair job. I had to go to Jiffy Lube in Heber City later to get a tire changed. I told them to be careful because the brakes were not really working properly subsequent to a repair. The manager, Jeremy, offered to look at the problem and help to fix it if he could. THEY SAID IT WOULD BE 2 HOURS. they had a jack lit right next to them and I asked "could I just borrow that?" We came in for a quick oil change before driving to Arizona. Granted we had no appointment so when it took almost twice as long as the one hour quoted, I can understand that. However, they then said we needed new brakes pads and rotors. We had no time to get a second opinion, but from the age of the car and the likely condition of the brakes, my guess is we got totally hosed. While waiting another hour (this was actually hour three at this point) I observed them closing the rolling doors in between moving each car. I've never seen a jiffy lube do this so I watched through the window and observed all employees gathered together, the cars forgotten and ignored, while they literally laughed and DANCED while 4 people waited patiently. I know why they close those doors now... So we can't see their lackluster workmanship and complete lack of work ethic. We asked to be shown the supposedly worn down pads and THEY WOULDN'T SHOW US. They claimed that they were so far buried in the trash it was impossible to find them. Wow with only a couple other customers, how did it get so buried they couldn't find it?!? UPDATE: More than 30 mins later and I can still see the "workers" standing around talking. Not again, still. UPDATE 2: they opened the doors briefly and miraculously all workers appear to be busy. read more

It would be a 1 Star if it weren't for Dave who seems to be the only honest employee in the building. The guys in the bay did the typical oil change scheme where they take out a semi dirty air filter and smear their filthy sausage fingers all over the filter, basically using it as a paper towel to show you how dirty it is... then after they had already put oil in my car said "which oil do you want?" I said "just the conventional cheap one"... the larger employee with black gauge earrings and tattoos got frustrated with me that I didn't fall for the brakes and air filter needing to be changed and I guess putting more expensive oil in my car was his way of getting back at me. $70 for an oil change?? I made an account just because I wanted to share my experience with DAVE. Dave is one the those employees that I wonder how he's still employed. I walked in and and he almost seemed upset that I made him get off his phone. When I asked about my vehicle he looked like I was giving him a lecture in school, bored out of his mind. He was acting like a child that had his phone taken away. If it wasn't for another employee coming in to help me I would have walked out of the store immediately. I appreciate Jeremy who was able to help with the things Dave couldn't. Even though he gave me prices I was not a fan of, he still gave me great feedback about my car. Dave I understand you are most likely someone's nephew or some sort of family but avoid showing your nepotism. It is that kind of behavior which makes me write this kind of review. Not sure why all the bad reviews here, So i decided to leave mine. On a recent trip to Utah i stupidly did not get my oil changed before i left my home state thinking my last oil change would suffice to get me through ( i dont know what i was thinking because it was 9 months ago lol),, anyway on our way to park city my change oil and filters light came on. Sheesh i thought,, so I drove that way for a while, knowing we were going to take the little Heber Train I decided to go down to heber a few hours early and get the oil changed and have lunch. That being said the guys at this jiffy lube were more than helpful, explaining the cost time etc. which was all fine with me. They took my number and we went to have lunch. they called me right after we finished to let me know my car was ready. I had zero problems with staff or the work compleated. They did say that i needed a new air filter which they didnt have but could get in 10 or 15 minutes,, I opted out as i figured the air was fresh enough in park city anyway LOL ,, anyhow my experiance here was positive and worked out great. I just had my 2017 oil change at Jiffy Lube in Heber City. They adjusted my tire pressure without asking me. I told service advisor not to change my tire pressure. When I got ready to pay the bill I was told that they had not changed my tire pressure. When I got in the Jeep to drive it home I found out that they had inflated my tires to 40 PSI. I run 29 PSI in my tires during the winter months for safety and better traction. I called and told them that they had changed the inflation on my tires which I did not authorize. They manger told me they had not changed the tire pressure to 40 PSI and acted like I was lying. I will never ever take another car to any Jiffy Lube for service of any kind again!!!!!! read more

Total Incompetent Thieves! I've been here twice and had terrible experiences. The first time they forgot to put the oil filler cap back on the engine resulting in an entire oil soaked engine compartment. The second time they tried to take advantage of my wife, who was there alone, buy telling her that she needed almost $400 in new brake pads. It turns out, the pads were fine and had about 60% life left on them. They just wanted to rip off and overcharge a pregnant lady who they didn't think would question them. I filed a complaint with Jiffy Lube and they informed me that they forwarded on my complaint to the store to resolve and I would hear from the in 24-72 hours. 9 days later....nothing. If you want to destroy your car at a very steep price, this is your place. Otherwise, look somewhere far away from this dump. read more

I saw all these terrible, outdated reviews which prompted me to submit this review. I found the service was fast and efficient and they properly took care of my high end car. The employees were friendly, courteous and easily handled the inside engine compartment faring which requires removal to service the car. Kudos to the Heber Jiffy team. . read more

Juan at Jiffy Lube is winning the award for scum of the year, because a bag of dirt is actually useful. Changed a flat tire at Soldier Summit and got to Heber to find the only place fixing tires on a Sunday was Jiffy Lube. Juan intentionally broke the tire pressure sensor (that alerted me in the first place that I was loosing pressure) and told me the tire wasn't flat. Yet, when I pulled the tire off air was escaping loudly. I suggested he run soapy water around the tire to find the hole. Juan then told me I needed a new tire as the hole was too close to the tire wall. Thank you for thinking because I was a woman I wasn't a mechanic. You sent a single mom down Parleys on a donut to try and make a quick buck. Without giving any details, the Discount tire tech by my home showed me that someone had broken the sensor. Miraculously, Discount Tire patched the hole for free. Given the opportunity again, I would rather be stranded then deal with these C string grease monkeys who give we mechanics a bad name. read more

I went there for a state inspection around 10am and I was told the wait was about an hour to an hour and a half. While I was waiting, I had to keep an eye on my car to see if it was moving outside. I was glad when I saw that they moved it on the corner of their garage hoping that I will be next after couple cars ahead of me. I kept watching as time goes by. I notice after more than an hour that cars who just came after me where already serviced for inspection like I did but my car was still sitting in the corner outside their garage. So I said, It's okay. I'll wait since I've waited long enough. Almost three hours of wait, I was hoping they will already pull my car in but another truck got in before me. So I approached the guy in the front desk, asked him why my car was still outside while two cars who just came for inspection already got them done and left before me?! They said they had errors about something, etc... etc... etc... I was so upset I told this guy that I already wasted time, I know other people have things to do but I have my own schedule to take care of! These people should know how to keep track of who's car will be next! Don't pull my car HOPING I WILL BE NEXT IN LINE but to where it's placed where it's not gonna be touched! Having this incident, I will NEVER EVER COME BACK THERE!!! I went to Discount Tire, it didn't even took me long even though they were busy! Nothing was even done to accommodate what happened. You don't even deserve a STAR! Your customer service sucks! read more

After 3 hours of waiting for them to test my battery, and do a diagnosis test to figure out why my truck wouldn't start they came to the conclusion that it was my fuel pump and they were going to charge me $1,000. I called a real mechanic and got a way better deal that would save me hundreds of dollars. The Shop tested my truck over and over again and they could not find a problem with the fuel pump and it turned out to be the battery and my air filter. Unlike Jiffy Lube, they did not charge me $100 for the diagnosis. Their costumer service could have been a lot better as well. I definitely won't be going back there any time soon. read more

I had to look up the term "Jiffy" to see if it meant "unreasonably slow." My car was there first thing when they opened at 8:00, I asked for a simple oil change, and it was after 10:30 before I drove away. I watched them finish up from the window--one guy adding oil, one guy talking to him, and two guys standing at the front of the vehicle talking. Meanwhile the waiting area has four other people waiting for their vehicles to get some attention. I would never recommend Jiffy Lube unless you've got time to burn. read more

Took my jeep in for a safety inspection. I explained to the staff that I only needed the inspection. While on the rack they proceeded to drain my oil. I went back and told them I only wanted a safety inspection. They then used a quart of oil that was under my hood to fill my jeep and mixed it with what ever they could find around the shop. Then the staff turned into complete assholes. They tried to fail my vehicle for things that didn't exist because they felt their fuck up was my fault. Don't believe these guys. I got here at 10:30 am and was told I would be out in 30 to 40 minutes. I just paid my bill and it is an hour and 35 minutes later, and my car is still not out of the bay. I can't criticize their work, other than their suggestion that they do much more work than I wanted. I would suggest only coming on a sunny day and bringing a picnic. read more

Yesterday, Thursday sept 6,2018, my wife went the crowded jiffy lube in heber city to seek the installing of genuine honda customer provided brake pads for all 4 wheels. In the line she was quoted a price of 85 dollars an hour labor the installation of the pads. My wife called me and asked me if that was a fiar price and is she should agree and have it done. As a man who has installed brake pads on all 4 wheels in less than hour in the past, I decide that 85 dollars for an hours worth on installation was a bit high, bbut since I am in a wheelchair and unable to the simple installation myself, I agreed to the 85 an hour labor price as I refused to consider that they would take more than an hour. While in the middle of the installation, my wife is suddenly shown a computer screen by a jiffy lube employee that shows that the proper price is supposed to by 159 per axle for a total of 320 minus the 80 dollar credit for the customer provided brake pads and that jiffy lube would have to charge this computer produced price. As my wife believed this scam at the time and was in a hurry and the work was already in progress, she approved the neew scam amount . IF I had been there, I would ordered the work stopped and vetoed the new rip off price . In addition, the 22 off jiffy lube coupon suddenly wouldn't be accepted by the computer and was not honored. I would advice any future customer to go to a highly rated yelp local mechanic for any repair work rather then to jiffy lube to get ripped off. They have a nationwide reputation for such scams. I definitely will report this scam to all relevant agencies in Utah and dispute the charge with my capital one credit card company. read more

The Heber location for Jiffy Lube is terrible. My wife took her car in for an oil change and used their coupon that was mailed to our house. When she got home after paying for the service, I checked the oil and found that it in fact it had not been changed. The oil filter that I had installed 3000 miles ago was still on the car and the oil was still dirty. I contacted the shop and the person that answered "assured" me that it had been changed. I then wrote the corporate office and explained the problem to them. They replied that the issue had been turned over to the local shop. No response from the local shop...surprise. I will not use this business ever again and I suggest that everyone else use a different lube shop if you care about your car. read more

No greeting when I came in. Just took my keys and started a state inspection when I had said nothing about needing one. All I needed was an oil change but they spent about a half hour telling me everything else that was supposedly wrong with my vehicle. They tried to up-sell so much crap to me and sell me the most expensive oil after I told them exactly what I wanted and needed. Overall the trip took me 2.5 hours even though my car was supposedly "next in line". Terrible customer service, terrible vehicle service, and lucky to still be in business. Throw away those JL coupons and go to a local shop where you'll get real service. Don't even waste your time. read more

This place sucks, big time. The Sugarhouse location is far superior! The wait was over an hour, which really doesn't matter to me as long as the work is doe well. The desk person, and the paperwork, advised that the tire pressure had been set to 32 psi. I had to leave and figured I'd check it later as I knew the door sticker was advised at 35 psi. My Sienna started pulling to the right on the trip, and when I checked the psi it was 37.5 on three tires and 42 psi on the right front. Invoice advised that the washer fluid had been topped off but when I checked, it wasn't even visible on the fill mark. Best part; I left a bad with a few jerky strips in the front seat and when I looked at them, three of them were eaten and gone! Forget this place, the local convenience is not worth the effort.. Also, part of my caustic review is that the overall Jiffy website really sucks too. When you put in the home page for the local site it directs you too the master site, etc... pathetic performance.. read more
