Had the need to get some tires since I was riding on baldies and after finding Larry's online, I popped in to see what I could get for my ride. We arrived at a set of tires that would work for my car and we proceeded to get them all installed: balanced, mounted and I even had them do my alignment as it was off. While the guys in the shop were busy working, I spent a nice half hour chatting with Larry. Clean waiting room and fresh popcorn to munch while killing some time plus great prices, great service and super friendly folks - what more could you possibly ask for? Definitely will be back.

The inspector even put my new tags on for me which was super helpful to me. 7/25- Third visit to this shop and another successful visit. I get this is a corporate brand company but when you walk in you feel like you are more in a small mom and pop shop. All the same smiling faces. This is an honest and fair shop that isn't looking just to make a dollar. Their interactions show they really care for their customers and keeping their cars safe. I was immediately greeted by the Service writer, Zach who gave us cold water and sweet drink and candy to my daughter! Talk about service. I told Zach, exactly what I needed & I told him I had a coupon and he went out of his way and showed me another coupon that gave me a little further discount! So that is a win when it comes to customer service. They immediately went to change the oil in my car with efficiency! The manager, Travis did try to upsell me an air-filter for around $30 which I said "no thank you" to. I told him I could purchase and install that at a nearby store. They did not try to pressure me to buy, which I appreciate. I got the DuraMax full synthetic 0W20 oil which typically cost$99.00, with the usual $4.00 service charge, taxes, my discount coupon, plus a $3 donation to help kids! First of all I was in my car for 30 minutes not 10 minutes. And I had to change my air filter and my cabin filter which was grossly overpriced because I found these exact filters. Use the part numbers and found them at Walmart for way cheaper. Also they use Duramax synthetic oil 4 quarts and it came to $94. I found this oil on Walmart and for 4 quarts. It would have only cost me $48. Then there was a shop service charge of $7.99. I don't know what that was. I guess that's their labor then they told me that I had to have my coolant change which was $139. And I think the guy who serviced me felt so bad that my bill came over $319 that he told me my next visit would be 50% off, which is nice but I don't think I will be going back there. Oil was lost over time and resulted in damage to my engine that was found and documented by my mechanic. My mechanic wrote up his report and indicated an engine replacement is needed due to the damage that was caused. I filed a claim with Valvoline Instant Oil change customer service and instead of sending a third party insurance adjuster they sent the manager of the Timberlake Road site, Ashley Jackman, who met with my mechanic and denied the claim in its entirety. When I went to the Timberlake Road site to get her write up and substantiation for the claim denial, Ashley Jackman, was very dismissive and stated that I can get her get her documentation from their customer service department and gave me the number to call on a document she gave me for valvoline. I immediately stepped out of the shop and called the number she gave me and spoke with the claim agent who said he needed to get authorization from Ashley Jackman. I was placed on hold while he called Ashley Jackman. When he came back on the line, he said they would not be giving me any documentation of the claim denial. This would be needed by my insurance. It is highly unethical and unusual for a company to send the manager of the site who was responsible for creating the reason for the claim to adjudicate a claim and not a third party independent insurance appraiser who does not have conflict of interest. When I called and asked the agent about escalation and need for documentation I was simply told they denied the claim and offered nothing else. Now I have a 2023 Ford F150 King Ranch with a damaged engine and I am in a rental that I am having to pay for as well. I ahev reached out to the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with them and will be hiring an attorney to take this to court if we cannot come to a mutual agreement to resolve. This was a massive mistake on their part and the way they handle errors is very unethical and shady and will be costing me in excess of 5000-6000 dollars. What a horrible experience and right here on the holidays to be hit with such a financial blow. I have no idea how someone with the attitude of Ashley Jackman could be in any type of management position and deal with the public. During phone calls, prior to claim denial, Ashley would ask me questions and would talk over me when I was answering.

In the rain Jemell Orlando Johnson fixed me up as usual. If I had been a skinny white woman in need Kerr Tire's people would have been all on it. Never will I ever go to that place.
