DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They pretended to change our oil and didn't. We went to this jiffy lube on our day off. We thought we had a pleasant experience and left a good review for the quick "oil change". Fast forward a month and a half, the car breaks down. We have it towed to a dealership where they tell us the oil hasn't been changed in probably over 6 months. We supposedly had it changed on May 10 with Dylan, Noah, and Derek. They never changed the oil. It was solid black, oil filter wasn't changed, and they only filled it with a small amount of oil. I have never been so upset and felt robbed from a company in my life. We will be contacting the better business bureau. 159 dollars later, the problem was correctly resolved at the dealership. Please if you want your car to get an actual oil change and don't want to ruin your engine, DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I am not a "sit in the waiting room and wait" type of girl so I dread going to things like automotive care or repair shops. I would give 10 stars if I had them to this Car Maintenance Shop! Not only did I not realize how long I had been in the shop but ALL of the employees interacted with each customer personally. I didn't experience a single negative action or item while there. Even telling a customer they couldn't assist that could have gone really sour was handle with such professionalism here is no way hearing bad news could have upset you (and being told you have 15 active codes would upset anyone). My hats off for the offer of fresh free coffee (I arrived at 9 am so was very appreciated)! And for the conversation and mostly for the friendly inclusive banter we shared. I have had two oil changes and a vehicle inspection done here and will return! Way to do customer service gentlemen! read more

Told me my car needed synthetic, it didn't, receipt said they did things, they didn't,like vacuum the floors, are you kidding me?But I had already paid. They didn't even wash my window. Waste of time and money. Will make you wait forever. Had to speak up 3 times after being told it would take a half hour.

I usually go to Midas because there oil change is 19.99 but their wait was too long. I was able to get the manager to lower the oil change price from $42 plus tax to 38 including tax. I was told the wait would be 15 minutes. After I gave him my information I reconfirmed the wait. Now he changed it to 30 min. An hour later and I still had no call. I went back and was told it was done ( thanks for taking me wait the extra time with no call!). I got the checklist of everything that was done. Checked was that my power steering was full (which is part of the oil change package that's included). Got home and it was right where it was before the car got there. Below minimum. Aside from that they poured oil all over the inside of my car and on the windshield! For expensive pricing, not calling me and lying I won't be back. read more

They took information, walked me inside, told me where the restrooms were and coffee and then not only did they do an oil change but checked my air filter, wiper fluid and tire pressure. So... I went here w/ a friend who was getting her oil changed, and because the gross, middle-aged fat guy was hitting on a married 19 year old, I was sort of not in a hurry to go back, but since he was throwing discounts at her left and right, I figured, "Hm, maybe I can pretend to be a hot young blonde thing and get some discounts too." Well, that disgusting guy was not there, and I didn't get any RADICAL discounts. However, the service was PERFECT. The guy who greeted me was very, very polite and opened the door for me when he was ready to take the car. He walked me in and told me where I could get coffee/water and where the restrooms were and that i'd be greeted shortly. The man at the counter came in and explained EVERYTHING to me (which I highly appreciate someone who can do that without talking down to me. yes, I am a woman, and yes, i know nothing about my car.) He put in my vehicle information and went through everything PONTIAC recommends for my vehicle, not what he thought I needed because he wanted to upsell. He was really helpful and when it came to my air filter and I asked him honestly if he thought I needed a new one, he didn't say it was life or death and I should get one RIGHT NOW. He bluntly told me that since I hadn't changed it since I bought it in March, it was probably due time. That alone made me replace it because I've been to places where they act like if I don't get everything done my car will be a piece of crap. Anyways, he signed me up for their bonus program that gets you 50% off your oil change every 3rd change. He told me prices for things I'd need coming up so I knew how much to save for (transmission fluid changes, tire rotation, etc.) I really appreciate that too because not everyone plans to take their car for an oil change and spend $500!! It's al ot nicer when the rep can tell you things that WILL need to be done soon so that you can expect it. They gave me a military discount, and the guy was very nice, striking up conversation with me, walking me out to the car, and asking if there was anything they could have done differently to make my experience better. They also vacuumed out my car. They also give free top offs of your fluids for 3 months. Very different experience than my friend had, but I personally preferred mine! I will DEFINITELY without a doubt come back to Jiffy Lube for my next oil change. read more

My husband and I have used jiffy lube for years while living in San Antonio. That is what we can compare this location too. It seem like the people don't like working here. Service is blah. I will look for a different place to change my oil next time. The last review written for this location was over a year ago. I hope they do a good job. I thought jiffy lube was about quality & service. I had my air filter changed in November and now they said it already needs to be replaced. Its only been a few months since its been changed. Do I need to change it 3 times a year? This will be my third time to change it since I bought my car a year ago. They charge for every little thing even to add wash fluid. I'm use to better service. Open my door for me, offering coffee, service with a smile. This was no where near what I experienced at a jiffy lube in San Antonio. read more

Stopped at Jiffy Lube on Rivers Ave. in North Charleston, SC, today. While waiting in the bay for my turn I noticed them using a pump to remove oil from the car next to me instead of pulling the drain plug. Done this way it will leave sediment in the pan. This is not the proper way to do an oil change. I got out of there before they touched my truck. read more

I bought a Groupon for a conventional oil change. The guy who "helped" me proceeded to say that they didn't accept groupons any more when I showed him the voucher. He then went on to look for an email that had "just come in" about not accepting groupons for about 15 minutes. He couldn't find it. Then he tried to call multiple locations to see if they accepted them. Each location didn't know. Then, one of the coworkers came in for their shift and he asked her if they still took Groupons and she said yes without skipping a beat. Way to be on the same page guys... read more
