This has been an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience from the start. We were…read morepressured into moving in 15 days earlier than our planned move-in date, yet the property was clearly not ready. It has now been over 40 days since we moved in, and we still have not been provided a gate code. While we were given a remote, that is not a reliable or sufficient form of access. I have already been locked out of the property and had to wait over an hour for someone to let me in because I did not have the remote on me. This is not just inconvenient--it is a basic access and safety issue. A gate code is a fundamental necessity and should have been provided prior to move-in, especially given that we were asked to move in early. The lack of urgency to resolve something this simple is extremely concerning. On top of that, communication has been consistently poor. There are no proactive updates, and we are forced to repeatedly follow up just to get basic information, with little to no resolution. At this point, it reflects a serious lack of organization, professionalism, and regard for tenants. If this is how basic issues are handled, it raises major concerns about how more serious matters would be addressed. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting through this company. This situation should never have been allowed to go on this long, and I expect immediate action to resolve it.

I extremely unhappy about my recent experience as a pending tenant at this townhouse complex…read more A few weeks ago, I set up an appointment to view some prospective units as I am preparing to move and my meeting with Tamara went extremely well. She was gracious and personable, and most importantly, she was communicating March specials- $1,500 off of the first month's rent and 1 month of rent free upon move-in that could also be amortized across the lease term. A week later, I returned to view new apartments that had become available and brought my mom and son. Fast forward, to March 19th, I successfully applied for an apartment to move in April 28th (when the apartment is available) and paid the holding fees. Last week, March 30th, I call the office because I'd received the welcome letter and lease agreement but did not sign because I would like to view the apartment prior to signing the lease. I spoke to Tammy who understood my request and spoke highly of the current tenant and anticipated that I'd be able to see the apartment sometime the week of April 13th. I asked about the honoring of the move-in specials and she mentioned that the marketing team had run the specials long and that unless I had something in writing, she would not be able to honor the specials. Tammy calls again, today, April 6th, asking if I had any concerns about the welcome letter, and I bring up honoring the move-in specials, as I had prior because I was reliant on those specials which I had expressed to both Tamara and Tammy. Tammy proceeds to start speaking fast, explaining that the website was experiencing IT issues, how can she honor something that is not applicable now, I applied too late, and more. She then began to gaslight me saying I was angry and hostile. I then asked to speak to someone higher than her, and she said that she was all I can get and she ended up hanging up on me. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau for lack of integrity to honor specials that were communicated both online and in-person and for the extreme lack of professionalism and hostility express towards me during a call that should have been easily resolved. Tammy is as unprofessional as they come and should not be in a position of management and people interaction.

Making the choice to sell our "forever home" was a very hard decision for our family. BUT, after…read moreit's all said and done (and SOLD)--the decision-making turned out to be the hardest part. The selling process was the LEAST stressful thing about it all (THANK YOU SO MUCH ADAPT REAL ESTATE!) If you are in the same boat as us, here's some tips we learned from OUR journey: 1. Choose a team you trust. Trust is hard in any business, so we chose a real estate company that displayed integrity through character (understood family balance chaos, active in their communities), and a company that took pride in the quality of their work (social media, reviews, success stories). One factor that stood out to us was their contribution and presence in the communities they represent, especially Solano County. Choosing a team that we trusted helped us feel confident about any further decisions we needed to make regarding the sale of our home. 2. Ask questions, even silly ones! We didn't know ANYTHING about selling our home. Gratefully, we didn't have to because we chose a realtor who knew what HE was doing. 3. (My favorite one)... just sit back and wait for directions. We trusted Adapt to lead the way. Jonathan takes pride in his practice, and his professionalism and his expertise guided us! Few specifics that reassured us during the process: -They came PREPARED!!!!! Met us on the first day with graphics and research about the location, current market trends, similar home comparisons, AND a strategy in mind. The strategy was the most impressive part because the reasoning behind the strategy is the wisdom that can only come through experience. We appreciated that the conversation was collaborative instead of one-sided. We came up with a game plan that we agreed upon together. -The game plan worked! Despite being in a rough market (October 2023), we received an offer the VERY next day after being on the market. Specific to our home, the buyers also had to agree to assuming a solar loan with the sale, Jonathan communicated that condition very tactfully and successfully. -My husband and I were responsible for cleaning and keeping the home tidy for showings, but EVERYTHING ELSE was handled by their team: open houses, social media advertising, videos, photos, signs, flyers, EVERYTHING! We just said "yes, go for it" and THEY. GOT. IT. DONE. -We let them know that texting is preferred (our little kids are too loud for phone conversations). For us, it helps our communication be concise, efficient, and clear! I felt that Jonathan and Zherr-Anne understood and respected that which made it easier for us to communicate! -Jonathan understood OUR goal as a family. Everyone has their own goal--whether it's financial (let's get the most we can), time (let's make it happen ASAP), or unique to your situation. Our goal was "as easy and less stressful as possible. Let's avoid any prolonging or extra pressure while uprooting our toddlers." And Jonathan and Zherr-Anne, you absolutely helped us achieve that. Our kids could not be any happier as we move into a new chapter. We are so grateful for your expertise, professionalism, and genuine kindness! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, we're so glad that we chose your Adapt family to help our family!
