I would highly recommended John Bean Roofing to anyone who needs a need roof.

They subcontract out all their work In their "family" business. The labor for every single job they do is performed by subcontractors who don't speak English, and the site supervisor Mike, who speaks only English, "instructing" them. Mike never up on the roof, the workers are unskilled. It was immediately obvious that a large part of the work had to be redone, discovered while Tom was hounding us for payment on completion. John showed up to "inspect", argued for half hour why the quality was fine, only agreed to redo the work when it was clear he wasn't getting another check for the last part of the job. After the job was done, both brothers tried hard sell for vinyl siding (for historic house). After this past Nor'easter, every transition on every dormer on the roof leaked, water pouring down through the flashing on both chimneys, discovered they also left in place rotting parts of the fascia board. Avoid these guys, they are a garbage Ponzi scheme. We will likely have to get large parts of the work removed and redone, less than 6 months after they did the job.

Am re-reviewing so others have some input besides those the owner didn't remove. As requested by the business in answer to that review, I contacted Servpro (instead of them picking up the phone & calling us) & left a message for Beth to review the email string/pictures of all that went wrong at our house before calling us back. She didn't. She called as we were heading out to see a family member perform at a Boston theater. I accidentally picked up. She didn't want to talk about the FACTS detailed in my review -- only complained about the timing of the review (a year or so after my last email with them that didn't get follow-up. The review was posted when I became aware of Yelp access). I again suggested she go through the emails that were concurrent with the work. She continued to harp on the timing. I reviewed some of the issues we had had. She didn't want to address any of that, kept haranguing me about the time delay in reviewing. I finally hung up. No follow-up by Beth on the CONTENT of my review at all, other than to get the review deleted somehow. The office staff were nice to deal with. The water remediation was good. Hired re: water leaks. Upgraded: a redo of the very small bathroom, out of pocket. Did not get any of the shower/fixtures as preordered, no support bar as ordered, Sheetrock lines/bubbles in paint, etc. Early on, painters completely painted in the door mechanism and painted without smoothing surfaces (said we didn't specifically order smoothing of walls), bubbles & lines, etc. Repainting still left bubbles/sheetrock lines.

I would not use this Franchisee. I heard many mixed reviews about their service here on Nantucket. PS their crew was super nice.

FROM PLYMOUTH, MA -…read more It is rare, indeed, when a company responds with as much enthusiasm, and positive, can-do attitude as ServPRO did for us. Under new ownership (as of Fall, 2019), the new management has made a commitment to be a top provider for Plymouth and the surrounding areas. They certainly convinced us they are on the right track. We had a remediation project that needed doing quickly . . . other companies were telling me they were booking 3-4 months out, but we had to have the work done before winter. Then ServPRO came to our rescue. Not only were they responsive, they inspired confidence that the job would be done quickly and absolutely done right. And it was. I am a contractor, used to hiring all kinds of subs for all kinds of jobs. I am so impressed by this company I will definitely call them for future work for us, and for my clients. *** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ***

Sara answered my call and made the first professional impression (as subsequent conversations with this exceptionally nice woman reconfirmed). Ryan, also of professional demeanor, was out in short order to assess the situation and provide a fair quote. It did however, turn out to be a home-owner's insurance situation. The guys who actually rendered the situation "Like it never even happened" were John and Pedro! They were both here for a few days total as they discovered and photographed additional mold within the insulation beneath the plywood floor. I got to know them both well enough to see that they really enjoy what they do! Both men were very meticulous, friendly and courteous. They performed multiple and complete steps to kill all of the mold, remove it and clean all remaining stains. All in all, my experience was 100% pleasant and satisfactory. Great service, value and most importantly, a GREAT job!

I was told it was $800.00. I looked it up on the Lowe's site, not even close. The receipt repeats a lot of the same things and lists it as separate charges. The pricing is extremely excessive.
