I calles and spoke to someone and they confirmed my reservation and explained to me the process of the $200 security deposit and $100 deposit for Ezpass. On the day and time that I was given to pick up the van, I was told "there is no van, there is no reservation" not sure why this guy was in bad mood but I informed him that I had called several times and got 2 return phone call confirmations. I also pointed out that the van was sitting there in plain sight. Overall, the van was clean and in great condition. I do agree with other yelpers the process of having to double check your credit card to make sure you received both refundable security deposits is annoying and may feel like a 2nd job hence the 4 stars.

I had given up hope until I stumbled upon Empire on Google and decided to give them a call. I asked Jade to call the Union st location to confirm they are open and so they can expect me but Jade said no. I asked to speak to a supervisor and received a call back from Gabby. While I was waiting, I called the Union St location and there was no answer. I explained to Gabby that we have doctor's appointments to get to and would not be able to travel so far to Union St without confirming they're open.. She could not confirm they are open and said she was referring me to roadside assistance to have the car picked up. She transferred me and I've been on hold over 30 minutes! Hertz has no regard for the customer's time. I informed Jade and Gabby that I needed to get to a medical appt. They gave me no options at all and didn't even lift a finger to accommodate me. Worst customer service ever. Will NEVER do business with them again. Stay away. No help at any number! Once roadside assistance picked up I spoke to Dhristeah, a highly professional representative with excellent soft skills because by the time I spoke to her I was extremely upset. The shop has provided four different promised handoff dates and has blown through all four dates. Extremely poor communication, expect when it comes to the shop collecting money. At this point, I still don't have my car back and had to involve my insurance company to help ensure the shop completes the repairs. TLDR - GO TO A DIFFERENT SHOP!
