She asked my budget, and any specific floral choices I might want, and she put me as ease, first by assuring me delivery wouldn't be a problem, by accommodating my budget and by helping me make what turned out to be a stunner of a bouquet. The recipient gushed about how beautiful it was, and while a photo can't do justice, you can see how fully bloomed the peony and sunflower are! Got up to the register and the woman rang it up at $6.99. I exclaimed to my daughter, "NICE! It's cheaper than we thought." The woman took my card and then said, "wait that one is $9.99." I said oh that's fine that's what we were expecting. She went on to adjust the order and said "yeah the ones with sequence are 9.99 and the regular ones are 6.99... but you knew that." I was shocked! Was she accusing me of trying to get one over on her? I told her I "assumed we misread the price or there was a sale." I am not the one who told her the price, she's the worker she should know how to ring up merchandise correctly! She said "that's fine for you but doesn't work well at the end of the day." She treated me like I was trying to steal $3! Like I switched the tags or demanded a lower price. SHE rang up the order! I said it was cheaper than what I expected and was fine with her changing the price. She still was itchy. We won't be going back and hope you don't either.

Not a soul asked if I needed any help. I looked, but couldn't find anyone. I needed some basic bulky weight wool like Brown Sheep or something similar to make a hat. I didn't recognize any of the yarn names and couldn't figure out how it was sorted couldn't what I was looking for. I also could have used some basic worsted weight yarn along with the correct knitting needles or crochet hooks. I looked for someone to ask. They weren't busy. I was the only customer. I said, "hello" and no one answered. That said, the yarn supply is amazing. The shop is stunning. I wished for more time to explore for both yarn and an employee. Im sure they were busy elsewhere. Maybe you should discuss with your employees the impact their attitude and behavior has and how it reflects on your business and your staffs professionalism. To verbally harass a stranger is concerning behavior enough, but at least have the decency to do so on a private account that is not directly linked to your place of work. Sincerely hope you can work out these behavioral issues. Definitely does not seem like a female friendly environment.
