She told me that the Department would be open until after 8 o'clock and I could pick it up anytime between 1 o'clock when I called and on until the store closed. I received the app notification, alerting me to the fact that she had canceled my order. I went to the store at 5:00 to receive confirmation from Lee that it was in fact canceled, but that she would pick the order herself, and give me a gift card for the inconvenience.... and a call once she had pulled the order. On the eve of Thanksgiving, I called up to the store to be told that they were too busy to assist me by phone. It was 3 o'clock and I had not heard from Lee , I was told by Christina that there were a lot of things going on in the department, but I would be able to pick up my $52 order,and that it would be free for the inconvenience. Over two days I spoke to both Christina and Lee, who are managers in the pick up section of the store, and they both explained that there was a lot of dysfunction going on in the department and for my inconvenience, they would give me the order and a gift card, free of charge. There were two items on my list that they said they were out of stock, but they still charged for them. To this day, they have not taken the two out of stock items off of my Discover card, nor did they give me the order for free as they said they would ,and while it was only $52, I never requested that it be free nor did they give me a gift card. I have had this experience with this store numerous times before , but because I know that every store in any situation can have dysfunction, I tried to give them OTHER chances to find out that there is so much dysfunction and incompetence in that department. When I looked the otherwise red meat on the outside was dark grey in the middle. I have never had this happen before. What I think they did was take older meat and "incase" it in fresher/newer meat. This bothered me. So I think I will return to shopping at Jewel again... I've lost trust in Mjiers. I took pictures of the meat.

This has got to be one of the WORST Aldi stores, and there's a few others too... but this is number…read moreONE! They advertise "specials" in their little sales ad each week.. so what's the problem?? Do the specials not come in??? Do you only get a few??? Do the employees "save" them in the back for themselves and family and friends??? Because I don't care what time you come in... well.. I haven't gotten there right when they open.. but a few hours later... it's always.. "oh.. we're out... oh... it's all gone. Seriously???? And it doesn't matter which one you go into, be prepared to wait in line. AND wait.... AND wait... Why is that?? There's like 3.. 4 of you on the floor.. no-one can open a register??? Some of their deals are good but Aldi has gone up in their prices so much so that it's not worth it to wait forever in those lines when for a few cents more you can go somewhere else and get in and out. Years ago their lines were long, but years ago there weren't as many Aldi stores around, and pretty much every register was open, and cashiers were memorizing every price of every product. Times sure have changed.
