I was anxious about the parking and check in process but as long as you have everything in order and filled out, everything should be smooth. Also don't forget the $4 cash that goes to the city and extra cash for tip! Our experience from check-in to getting off the boat was smooth and easy. Everything went smoothly and we had a great guide during our parasail. Our daughter was actually super nervous and our guide allowed us to go up with our kids in groups of three (2kids 1 adult) so both kids got to ride twice. This definitely helped her feel more comfortable the second time around. We were grateful for that experience. The parasailing itself was amazing. You don't even feel like you're up hundreds of feet in the air. It's so calm and peaceful even when coming down. You get the choice of getting "dipped" in the water if you want, but don't have to. We arrived about 45 minutes before our flight and were checked in quickly. About 15 minutes before our experience was set to begin, they walked us over to the boat and gave us life jacket. When it was time to fly, we were set harnesses and quickly locked in. The flight itself was so much fun and they dunk you in the water at the end. It was just my family of 3 and two other groups of 3 on the boat. The whole experience was a little less than an hour and totally worth it. There is plenty of free parking at the Marina. If you have to wait there are plenty of shops, Coconuts Shave Ice and Leonard's Malasadas at Koko marina. We were treated quite coldly and felt unwelcome, which was disappointing and honestly put a damper on an otherwise great experience. I tried to ask her directly what her problem was, but she repeatedly denied that anything was wrong and burying the facts. So I brought the issue up with her manager Shannon and hopefully their management can take this feedback seriously and look into the situation. Banana boating is sort of what it sounds like - you sit on a separate inflatable banana boat attached to the real boat, and then the real boat zooms through the mini lake and you hang onto the boat (or other people because you're a clown). Bumper tubing -- fantastic!! Your same group of clowns hang onto a big inflatable coin. Sounds dumb, but it's fantastic, and we liked it the most of the 3. Something about hanging onto your friends for dear life at the cost of their grip strength until someone falls into the warm water is hilarious! Wakeboarding -- super exhausting, but still worth it. Our fingers and lungs were already tired from screaming our clown lungs off and hanging onto the bumper tube, but wakeboarding truly requires some stamina. The weaker folks may have a hard time standing, especially if they run out of stamina. Tough guys: you're gonna really feel the post workout burn, unless you're a pro AND you can ride switch. We chose this place that's further away from Honolulu where we were staying because of the price and reviews, and it was great!
