Pizza was just fine. Service was good. But when I examined my receipt I was surprised to find a $5.62 Third Party surcharge from Door Dash. com. I would never use Door Dash and somehow when I was on the Jet Pizza website and paying for my order to be picked up by myself, I was switched to DoorDash for the payment. Very sneaky and I will make it a point to stay off the Jet Pizza website in the future. read more

I grew up with Jet's in Michigan, and it lives fondly in my heart. I was excited that there are multiple in Louisville! However, twice now the St. Matthew's location has been less than impressive. They make a good crust and nail the Jet's style. They use fresh, quality toppings. But I think they ignore any ordering of "Extra" or "Light" with toppings. And why offer flavored crust if it is not actually applied to the pizza?? There is zero garlic taste from a garlic crust, both times I've tried. They skip that. Also twice I have ordered my pizza Well Done--since they offer it as a choice when you order--and my husband's regular pizza looks exactly the same as mine, so I'm not sure if neither pizza was well done, or if both were well done, but it doesn't make sense either way. The website ordering estimates a fictitiously short time for your food to arrive... I'm not even fussed about that glitch, as it's clearly something funky with their system, because there's no way I believe two pizzas are arriving to me in 15 minutes from clicking order. It was a difference of 30 additional minutes, for 45 total, which is not an unreasonable amount of time to wait for delivery, but it's grossly misquoting time for people ordering online and really ought to be fixed. Skipping Light/Extra with topping amounts, skipping crust flavor, and the false "well done" option altogether paint a lazy picture. When I pay $60 for 2 pizzas--after delivery charge and a 20% tip, even saving $10 with coupons, SIXTY dollars--I'm expecting my food to be accurate and worth it. They should be better than Domino's at that price point, but Domino's honestly has Jet's beat on accuracy. Does Jet's make a delicious pizza? Absolutely! Are they totally half-assing it in St. Matthews? Yep. I'm going to dine on these delicious leftovers and probably never pay you that much money again. read more

This is just gross! Like even dominoes was better and it's horrible. This pizza was just nasty. I'm not sure if the sauce was spoiled. The crust was like eating chewy cardboard. The toppings were skimpy at best. Like i questioned if this was even my order. You can't even contact the company on the website without the receipt which the driver took after I signed. I mean I don't understand how they even pass a health department inspection it is so nasty. How are they even open. I will never ever order from them again. Jet's continues to be my guilty pleasure. So when we decided to order from Jet's for delivery last week, I was in a happy place. And I was particularly thrilled to see that their online ordering seems to have improved since last I used it. I remember it being a bit clunky -- not so anymore. We were able to easily put in an order for an eight-corner, Turbo Crust pepperoni pizza with a side of Triple Cheese Turbo Stix and salad. This was delivered within the time period given. Can't find anything not to like about all of that. That crust is just perfection. This is also pizza that will fill you up. Two pieces is usually enough for a meal. Jet's is also consistently good. I ordered a pepperoni pizza online with cajun crust. The pizza was very delicious! The cajun seasoning was very salty. My order was ready when I got to the store. The staff asked for my name and gave me a pizza. I didn't have to touch anything but the door. Both staff members were wearing masks and were very polite! read more

You MUST download the app or order from them directly... even if it's in a text (you get an extra discount for all sortsa things like that... just check their site)... just don't order from a 3rd party or you'll be paying way too much. Pros? Tasty thin crust! Love doing pepperoni and jalapeno (the jalapenos actually have some kick to them) Their homemade ranch and caesar are on point and you can get a sriracha sized bottle to use at home! First time we ever unashamedly chowed on a pizza right out the door. Glad we did right then & there, b/c it kinda' lost its pizazz by the time we got leftovers home, as all pizza does. Their phone robot answered off my wall questions, and easily got the order documented to perfection! You go Mr Robot! However, If the robot can text you to get payment, why can't the robot text you when the pizza is ready for pickup? A 25-minute wait with no other customers in line there, middle of the afternoon, seemed to be a long duration for a single pizza order. But, that wait was worth it! Jet's Pizza has taken the place in my culinary Rol-a-dex that was once upon a time occupied by Little Caesar's. For me, that means fast (usually) and cheap, deep dish pizza in individual portions. I've never had anything but the cheese slices and bottled pop, so my knowledge of the other menu items is non existent. I do know that have salads, sandwiches, and full pizzas available. The slices, which you should ask for as they are rarely out in the front display case, are under $2 a piece. They're also available in pepperoni and in a two piece combo with a pop for around $5. If you go at lunchtime or around dinner, they usually can serve you right up. I have been at off hours and had to wait up to about 7 minutes for them to bake a pizza in order to fill my order. This location's parking lot can be challenging to get out of especially during rush hour. It is right on Hubbards Lane close to the Shelbyville Road intersection (& light). I like Jet's for a filling, inexpensive lunch to nosh in the parking lot, while I'm out running errands, or to take to a park close by (no dining space inside). Also works as an easy dinner to take home like tonight. read more

This Jets has been a staple for wings and pizza during game days since it opened. We purchase from them almost every game! Called to place an order & instead of "hello" the person answered the phone and said "we are really busy right now, wait one minute" put us on hold then took our order. We were told the order was $15. We went to pick it up and we were told $23. We told Natalie we were told $15 over the phone and she said "well my manger is busy so I can't really fix anything for you, it's $23" then, I got to the car and our drink was wrong so I went back in and she glared at me and didn't say a single thing when I told her she gave me the wrong drink. Very good square pizza. Franchise is Michigan based where sqare deep dish is very popular. Lots of chese & toppings. I order a large light pepperoni & light cheese w/ xtra sauce. Very flavorful & crispy pepperoni and beautiful golden brown crust! No dry and tasteless pizza crust here like 90% of locally owned pizza in this town I have tried. Louisville pizza sucks so I resort to chains. Always cooked correctly and the owner, a Michigander, is nice. A clean and well run place. Would be 5 stars if fresh vs canned mushrooms were a choice . I am a fan of the square vs round pizza. Only $12.00 w/ a coupon for a large and on Mondays they have a $7.99 large special no coupon requiredl! My wife and I moved up to Louisville, KY from South Florida, where we had to part with our beloved Jets Pizza that treated us very well. I am a huge fan of their deep dish pizzas, particularly with the turbo crust. We also love the Jets bread, which we order every single time we get food from there. My wife is in love with the ranch dressing they use, and we order that every time as well. We were delighted when Jets Pizza announced that they were building locations in the Louisville area, and even more excited when one of them was close enough for delivery. We have now ordered from this Jets Pizza location six times. Out of those six times, they have gotten our order correct exactly zero times. We tried ordering online a couple times, and the ranch we ordered wouldn't show up. We called a couple orders in, and the Jets bread wouldn't be the right kind. We even drove to the store to pick it up directly, and we still had to make changes because they didn't get it right. The most recent time this occurred, we called the store back when our food arrived missing items, and the man who answered simply handed the phone to the manager. I explained the situation to the manager, and how many times this had happened, and gave me a "Well, I'm sorry about that." As much as we love Jets Pizza, this location does not appear to have their act together. I hope that changes, because what used to be our favorite pizza has now become more hassle than its worth. read more

My husband is from Florida and they have lots of Jet's chains in the area. So we enjoy Jet's Pizza. However, this particular location is lacking. I have ordered online from here 3 different times, and all 3 times our order was wrong. Two incorrect phone in deliveries, and 2 incorrect carryout orders. /sigh We're not difficult people. We don't ask for half this on one side of the pizza and half that. We're talking, I ordered a Pepperoni Pizza and got a sausage. That took nearly an hour to get to my house, so when I called they told me it could be as long as another hour before it could get it fixed. The food itself is good. Chicken. Jet's Bread. I like the Antipasto Salad. I prefer the Turbo Crust on our pizzas. They have an interesting variety of crusts to choose from, and I recommend trying them until you find one you like. Makes your pizza experience different. The last time I ordered Jet's, they brought me the wrong dipping sauces. I understand that it's first world problems, but it's consistent with this location. The online ordering function clearly lets you choose what kind of dip you'd like. BBQ, Ranch, Garlic Sauce, Pizza Sauce, etc - and for the third consecutive order it's like the people who work here can't figure out how to read the order. It gets frustrating when it happens every time. 3 stars because the food is decent, but tired of consistently incorrect order fulfillment. read more

Tried Jet's pizza for the first time. Thought it would be better than Dominoes or Caesers since it is a lot more expensive. But I thought it was terrible. The sauce had a weird taste, kind of like a scorched, burnt taste. I chose blue cheese dipping sauce. It was made by Heinz. I had never tried that brand before, but it smelled and tasted like spoiled milk. I don't know if it is supposed to taste like that, or if it was spoiled from being unrefrigerated. I travel to St. Matthews every week or so (from Utah) and at least once a week I order from Jets. I found them online and they are very quick. I can order and I will have my food usually within 20-30 min (they tell you 40-50 under promise and over deliver....I'm just fine with that). The pizza is what I remember the old Pizza Hut style to be. Big thick crust with lots of meaty sauce. I usually get the Pepperoni with Turbo crust (no extra cost) and it fills me up. 3 pieces (of 6) and I am done. I highly recommend! read more

If I could give a half star I would. By far the worst pizza I have EVER had. I ordered delivery, a plus for Louisville which seems to have an aversion to food delivery, but it was not good. It tasted like chemicals, was super greasy and the quality can be described as equal or less than that of pizza you would find in the frozen section of your supermarket. I actually would choose frozen pizza over this any day. First time getting a Jet pizza, hand tossed garlic crust and simply a waste. Toughest crust l have ever had. Really couldn't taste much garlic. I noticed the box and flyers looked very similar to Little Ceasars, just wondering if Jet is a spin off. For chain pizza Jet is at the bottom of my list. This to me is sort of the quintessential college pizza. Packed with flavor and the price is right. Nothing particularly special about it in terms of really changing the pizza game (except maybe their well-executed deep dish), but they do the indie fast food pizza thing really well. The deep dish is tops, but very greasy. Gotta love those crispy pepperonis. The regular crust is great too though, and not nearly as greasy... a lot less pizza-hut-ish. I really wanted to like this pizza/place. When I received a coupon in the mail I decided I'd give it a shot since it was on the way home. Unfortunately my open-mindedness was soon thrown in my face. I'm not someone that feels I need to be greeted like the president when I walk into a place, but a hello is certainly better than an aggravated stare til I reach the counter. When I ordered the special which was a very good price, the guy paused for a minute and asked "that's it?" as if he was annoyed that I wasted his time ordering a pizza for one person...me.
