First things first, parking out right sucks, though thats the norm for downtown Lake Orion. The owners Dan and Jason know how to please ones palate and make sure you come back for more. It was a double date night with my sister and brother in law, my wife and I. The ladies who are more into wine, with our urging, tried some beer, not just any beer. My wife in 36 years has never drank a can or bottle in her life. Enjoyed one till the last drop. To make this happen a lot of thought went into this by the crew. A complex tap list for sure. She ENJOYED a Four Berry Pie, Cider. I opted for the La Palomita from Goose Island and then a Mosiac Wave from Drafting Table. Both excellent brews and from Excellent Brew houses. There were 31 unique brews on tap, with something for everyone. Now the meat..... We each ordered a burger, the wife a Crab Ragu Burger that sent my wife over the top. My wife said it was the best burger ever. For me, the Polish Burger with Kielbasa, sauerkraut, carmalized onions and a spicy mustard was also Epic! We topped everything off with the best Chocolate Chip Cookies ever. Now for the service, our server Arianna was bery attentive and was quick with our order, including the extra napkins needed to wipe our hands and face of the evidence from a great meal. What also set this place apart was Jason and Dan both coming by the table to talk and share some stories. This place made us feel at home and appreciated for coming to see their wonderful place to eat and drink with family or friends. Thank you

We had some craft cocktails- the Pink Lady and the Pink Pedal. Both were tasty but I preferred the refreshing citrus in the pink pedal on a hot day. We ordered a charcuterie board w the whitefish dip for an appetizer and the beet salad and Mediterranean pizza for our meal. The board was just OK. Two types of cheese, two slices each; two types of meat; three slices of those. Honey mustard; jam; raisins and a few corn snacks. Not enough crackers (4) for what we had. The whitefish was already a $4 upcharge; and we asked for extra crackers, it was another $3 charge. Most folks don't eat whitefish dip straight so that was a miss in my opinion. A $24 appetizer is a lot. The beet salad was all arugula and pretty good with a tangy dressing. The pizza did not come with cheese; so that was another upcharge. And its topped with more tangy arugula so that's on us for not realizing how many greens we had ordered. The service was friendly and attentivefor the most part. We had hoped to order their cheesecake but the server got tied up with other tasks outside and we had a fixed time frame so by the time she came back we had to leave. Would I come back? Perhaps to sit at the bar and have some drinks and appetizers. I don't know that I would order meals again. Owners should pay attention to the nickle and diming as it does tarnish the experience. Pizzas by nature should come w cheese even if its optional. If you upcharge for dip on the board pay attention to what the patron might need w that additional item. $3 for some extra crackers to go w the dip is excessive.

When we walked in, I was impressed by how clean, well lit, modern, and airy the place was. This sounds silly but I knew I loved this place the moment I took a sip of my ginger ale. It tasted like it had a splash of vanilla in it. It was super refreshing and delicious. The menu has so much I wanted to try it all. Everything was very reasonably priced! Wraps for under $10! My husband and I opted for the mezza plate for two so we could try everything. Again, super reasonably priced meal. It would definitely feed three people, we took leftovers home. I love how they brought out the cold plate first before the hot plate so that we could munch quickly bc we were so hungry. The tabbouli was delicious. So was the chicken. Having recently relocated from Grosse Pointe to Clarkston, neither of us had been to Lake Orion in quite awhile. We were blown away! First. We were seated outside with a lovely view of the river and the falls. Next, my wife ordered a Cosmo $ I a whiskey sour, both with house distilled spirits. Hers was as close to perfect as she's had, mine was the classic shaker style with egg white served up. Both excellent. On to the extensive menu with many, many yummy looking choices. My wife had 3 salmon options that appealed to her but opted for the planked with 3 berry sauce. Came with scalloped potatoes & broccoli - raves! I had to try the fish & chips & am pretty particular about mine. I can honestly say theirs is my new favorite. The crunchy coating was out of this world as were the chips, served with a healthy dose of kosher salt. My only disappointment was that they have no malt vinegar. Not a deal breaker, however. We each decided to try a second cocktail - me a perfect Manhattan- dry vermouth rather than sweet & she a glass of Chardonnay. Both were excellent. Finally, our delightful, attentive, knowledgeable server, Payton, recently graduated from Cooper Union in NYC with an art degree & her medium is the difficult oil. She showed us photos of some of her work & we expect to see more from this talented young lady! We will return often!
