Jets is always a good option when it comes to Pizza. I think that there are times when it can hit or miss but for the most part they usually come through. I normally go for the BBQ pizza and It's in my opinion the best item on the menu! There was a time when I received a pizza and the bottom was somewhat burnt so they gave me a new pizza and threw in some free items which was very nice! Overall a solid spot! read more

I think this Detroit style pizza is as good as any. Pleasant workers at the one I frequent (Commerce location on Pontiac Trail) provide excellent service and several have worked there awhile. It's a shotgun type of set up, just an aisle ifrom the door to the order/pickup counter and a metal bench. So not much ambience, by design. Carry out or delivery only. Value: Large (8 pcs) w 3 toppings @24. About same price other stops. Food: Evaluating the thin crust.... this is one of the better thin crusts Ive tried. You can tell it isnt pre made. It has a delicate crunch and is great for people watching their carb intake but still love pizza. I got a lot of veggie toppings with "extra" order (incld in price). So, overall Jets is a good option in my arena for deep dish pizzas. When you get a butter or butter garlic square pizza and it's crunchy, cheesy, saucy and it's very good. I tend to stick with the pepperoni and extra cheese or a speciality pizza because by design they're toppings are a bit smaller than at other pizza places so on that front they're diced. Where the pizza shines is in the sauce and crust. I highly recommend asking if they have any specials before ordering when calling over the phone as I'm usually able to get a better deal than if I'm just a walk in. My usual order is a large deep dish pepperoni with extra cheese squared with butter crust. They do offer other types of crusts and crust flavors so whatever you're looking for I'm sure they can more than accommodate. I think the customer service here is very good. They're nice, efficient and pleasant when picking up your order. You usually get someone different than you placed the order with so it's cool to see that everyone enjoys they're job at this location in terms of customer service. read more

This is my favorite Jet's location. The pizza is always done perfectly, and they seem cheesier than other locations I have tried. I don't understand the bad reviews because my experience has always been great. I do not get delivery because I would rather pick it up myself than to wait for delivery. This may or may not make any difference. Who really reads reviews? I ordered a pizza at 9:38 PM When I arrived they had locked the door clearly seeing me standing at 9:56 PM outside knocking on the door for a min straight with no eye contact . The Manger saw me and did not open the door. After 2 mins a young male approached me and decided to unlock the door and state my pizza was sold to another customer. So my question is what happened inside 20 mins I don't know? Did they just decided to not even make it because they didn't feel like it that day? The manager was very rude by questioned me on why I didn't pick it up sooner and for that he sold it to another person. Yea... can you spell G.E.D? Most people would have become angry and gotten very upset. right? It just isn't worth the effort these days to care I guess. I didn't argue and got into my car and calmly drove off. I noticed what appears to be teenage girls in the back hanging out behind the counter laughing and giggling. Very unprofessional I have ordered from this location several time and each time they have messed up on a order every time. I blame the owner not the employees. I am not interested in hearing how sorry he is or getting a free pizza next time. I'm over it after talking to the Corporate office today off of Mound Rd . I was assured that I would least received a call back from someone to investigate this issue. I blame the owner for not hiring competent people and not representing Jets Pizza as I've had very good experiences at several other locations. For me to complain would not serve a purpose other than to let this injustice go on to the next customer. If this review hurts this location by informing only one customer then I would consider that much more substantial than a personal indirect apology from the Owner with the same excuse each time. Super Bowl was thee worse I could've cooked at home for the amount of time I waited. I placed my order at 3:30pm with the specifications of picking up at 6:15pm. I arrived at 6pm to a long line which you have to wait outside in the freezing cold smh waiting there 15 minutes get in and then they said they threw the order away I'm guessing because they made it when it was ordered and not when I stated I needed it picked up smh I had to wait nearly a hour for food I order three hours prior AND they never said they threw it away I overheard that...not a good experience at all read more

This jets is an absolute JOKE. The employees are honestly stoned all the time, they are so rude and they mess up our orders every single time. The food is also not fresh. Our salad this last time was filled with rotten brown lettuce and ended up throwing it out. I called to let them know and they offered nothing to remedy the situation. The jets cheese bread is always hard and the cheese is dried out. The only reason I come back is because this place is right around the corner from my house. I will never come back, there are many other jets in the area that will deliver to me. Wish I could give this place a -1 star. If the owner/manager reads this review and if you actually care, I hope you start being more involved with day to day operations, instead of leaving things up to these young kids that don't care if they drive this business into the ground. read more

This place used to be pretty good (previous review below) but with the past two experiences with this location, I will never go back. I'm not sure what kind of people they have working here. The workers can't even take a phone order. I had to repeat the order 5 separate times on two different occasions. One of the workers was talking to someone else while I was ordering and not paying attention. Another worker was extremely rude. It seems like most of the workers are stoned or high on something. Never coming here again! The pizza is always good, but the delivery service is pretty bad. Three times I requested for delivery and two of the times I had to chase the guy down in the subdivision because he couldn't find my house. This game went on for 10-15 minutes, both driving around trying to find each other. Before getting into the car, I had to wait outside in the snow to see if I could flag him down somehow while he was passing. And let me tell you, the directions I kept giving to him were very simple. What's worse is that when I finally saw him, he forgot two orders of ranch. So I had to wait another 15 minutes until he came back with the ranch dressing. I called the location and told the manager what happened. He said he would put the amount I paid for the ranch dressings on my account to use for next time. Instead, I asked for that amount to be put back on my credit card. I checked two weeks later, no credit. I never called to complain about it because at the end of the day it was only $4-5. Therefore, I gave up on delivery, and decided to only do pickup at this location. I went in there the other day to pick up my order. One of the items was a Greek salad. The white bag included two ranch dressings and two sides of Marinara sauce, but no Greek dressing for the salad. So I asked for it, and the worker said yup got it now. Meanwhile I was taking my credit card out to pay, and didn't look. Once I got home I'm sure you could guess...no Greek dressing. I didn't even bother to complain because I wasn't going to go back, nor wait for them to deliver it. The moral of the story for this location - DOUBLE check everything! read more

Not bad not amazing but serviceable slices in a timely fashion from a chain near the house. We ordered a large round (they also have square) pizza with pepperoni, meatballs and extra cheese. It was $18.60 to my door. We gave the guy $25. The speed of delivery was good I'd say 40 minutes. The pizza tasted fine. The dough was a bit puffier like a Pizza Hut. The meatballs were crumbled versions of larger meatballs, instead of sliced or teeny balls which I prefer. There also could have been more meatballs. That being said it did the trick on a Friday night. I'd probably order from them again for a simple quick pie, although I prefer another pizza joint that I have reviewed previously. I will say I did not have that post pizza regret that usually comes from downing half a pie of some other national chains. read more

End of the month in the crazy mortgage biz was upgraded via our great office lunch from Jet's Pizza at 14 & Haggerty today. 3 people ordered, 3 pizzas were delivered hot with the correct ingredients, crust types and crust flavors. We tend to order pizza several times a month, and have tried other surrounding places, and they've always disappointed - forgetting items, typically. We actually called the manager this afternoon and told him to pat his crew on the back. We'll remember our good experience, and this shop has gained some regular customers. (Turbo crust, anybody?
