They charged us 350 dollars to replace the eroded pipes, however they still used the old eroded ones. We had no idea until the ceiling in the kitchen and the master bedroom started to stain and detach from the frame. When we called the insurance again they sent another company that had trouble getting up there due to the damage they previously caused to the stairway. When they got up there they realized the pipes were never replaced and the water had been leaking the entire time which damaged the tray and wood base. They had to charge us over 900 dollars to repare the damage and replace the parts. Central ms air works did nothing but act like they were going to look into it and get back to us, but never returned my calls and has no interest in making this right. The people who came to fix the problem said they have seen this same company do this to many people they come to help fix the damage. Please do your research because they have no problem doing this over and over again.

Truthfully, I feel taken advantage of by that company, like they just wanted to make a sale, neglecting to properly inspect and diagnose my prior unit. The issues I was having previously have returned. I'm very frustrated and don't want to deal with them again. I should have known better when the responding tech took less than 5 minutes to mutter, "This heater is bad. This is not a good brand," despite my previous heater being only 4 years old. I contacted Coleman's A/C Heating & Appliance Repair seeking a professional who would listen carefully to the issues I'm describing and offer sound advice/solutions on how to proceed. I expected to hear back from Coleman's within a day or two. But my inquiry was responded to quickly. The technician was friendly, listened, and we discussed what could be done to get my hot water going again. It was suggested I contact the company that performed the install since I'm still under warranty. But it was such a negative experience with an inattentive, apathetic tech that I'd rather cut my losses and allow Coleman's to care for my unit. I will follow Coleman's advice. But at the first sign of indifference or rudeness by that other company, I'll call Coleman's out to fix my heater.

He was helpful when I called and quickly scheduled my appointment. I was surprised that they were able to come out the same day! Not only the same day, but in a matter of hours they were out there to just do two tuneups. The service tech they sent out was very nice and gave me a pretty fair assessment of the system. On my asking, they sent out a sales guy the next day to quote me on a new system. As most sales people should be, he was also very nice. They present a great folder with before and after photos. They also offer a lot of nice guarantees and services with a new install. I won't get into the prices of the systems quoted, but anything A/C related costs quite a bit. This cost is where they lost two stars. One star was lost for having a much, much higher price for R22 than anyone else I contacted. The second star was lost for the way "coupons" are handled. They have some decent coupons on their website, but those have to be presented to the tech at the time of service, not when you call in to pay your bill (mine was double what I expected). I've run several different billing systems and none of them are really, ever final. Also, a tuneup is much less than I expected as it basically entails them checking a few of the key components and then hosing out the coils on the units outside. I can't really knock a star off for that though because it seems that it is par for the course in the A/C world.
