They DO NOT tell you this beforehand, and let you schedule service, take time off work for said service, call TWO HOURS past the time they were scheduled for said service only to tell you since you own a home, but you don't own the land you are S.O.L. because their "insurance will not allow them to service your home". Environment Disaster is what it should be called. I hired them to unclog my kitchen sink but instead a 3 man crew broke my pipe under the sink in June of last year and to this day there auger is still hanging out of the pipe.They want me to pay them to bust my floors to remove it claiming I have a b pipe under the slab,I've been in my home 15 years and never had a problem with plumbing until Environment Disaster came in and gave me a problem. No justice from Environment Disaster just neglect... highly don't recommend them. read more

Environment Masters came out once in September to clean our coils and the A/C worked fine until they serviced the unit around October 13th. Then on October 17th, they came out twice and did nothing to fix a frozen system except say we keep it too cool. On October 18th, they came out twice again, the first person doing nothing and the second insulated a SXV Bulb in the unit they serviced in our attic. It has worked fine since then at 63 degrees as it has for the first 6 years we had the new unit. Rheem says that the unit should last 15 years even running it in the low 60s. It did for the first 6 years. I kept being told my 6 year old unit was worn out and couldn't work as we wanted. Rheem says it should still work fine. Environment Masters tried to push a Lenox system for $22k. When we hired EM to fix our system, we wanted it fixed being only 6 years old, we didn't want or need a new system. Steer clear of EM or be prepared for an expensive repair or replacement. read more

I wouldn't use anyone else in this area . These guys are WONDERFUL. RESPECTFUL. Kind. Quick and efficient. We had used another local company and they were not good. They just wanted to keep coming out here every 3 to 5 months to replace the capacitor. I knew our AC needed to be replaced. Those guys at the other place wouldn't come out on a weekend and said they never heard of us. BS. I have 2 cats and I was home alone on the day they replaced the entire AC system. EM was on time, and I did not feel weird or anything. They cleaned up the mess and didn't mess up our house at all. I would recommend to anyone anytime. I also received another astronomical quote of 4 grand to repair a broken pipe in my front yard. We had Environment Masters install a new central A/C and heat system as ours was worn out. From sales to installation, I was totally pleased. The salesperson knew all the factors to take into account to "right size" the system to our house based on house size, orientation to the sun, windows, etc. They provided 3 different quotes based on different system efficiencies and left them with us to decide. Once we made our choice, they were back 2 days later with the entire system. This is when I became totally impressed. During installation, a number of issues were found with my ductwork. Many areas where I had leaks were found. The worst was on the intake to the entire unit (plenum). There was a 1" wide and 3 ft long gap in the plenum that was allowing super hot and humid air to get sucked into the system - only cool air from inside the house is supposed to enter here. This was from the previous installation of my old system. This meant my A/C unit had been working to cool super hot attic air that should have never entered the unit - drastically reducing any efficiency. I hate to think about how much extra that gap cost me over the years! They also discovered leaks in the supply ducts that was allowing cool air to blow into the attic, again making the unit work harder. The technicians also noted a lack of enough vents in my house. A large master closet on an outside wall with no vent for example. They also recommended an additional vent in our master bedroom. Environment Masters performed all of the duct sealing at the same quoted price, even though it was not accounted for in the initial bill. They did charge to add the two new vents but it was VERY fair and each area they recommended were hot spots we had noticed for years. I was informed that the blower that was selected to be used in the system was out of stock so they upsized to a larger blower. This was a multi speed blower that was much more efficient and again, it was provided at no additional charge to avoid a delay in my installation. The entire crew was professional, helpful, full of information and constantly looking for ways to make the installation as efficient as possible. When they left, there was not a speck of dust to show they'd been there. Our house cools and heats so much more evenly now. We love the smart thermostat! And, efficiency? We are on budget billing so our electric bill is pretty consistent. Before the new system, our bill was $130/month. Now, it's $85. There were a couple of adjustments that had to be made after installation (like de-rating the fan even more and getting the thermostat dialed in). Every one of these adjustments was handled at no cost and the techs showed as scheduled. We were also told that the manufacturer was offering a free warranty extension and Environment Masters helped us get the paperwork submitted for that as well. The owner even called after the installation to ask if we were happy. It is so hard to find honest contractors. This is one, no questions asked. read more

Ok Yelp readers. I am new to Madison, MS and my garbage disposal broke. I reached out to Environment Master today July 6, 2020, and they responded within three hours. Great! The technician and his assistant were friendly and helpful. OK... The office explains they could not give me an estimate to install the disposal because the technician needed to evaluate the problem. She made it sound like it was mandatory. The person at Environment Master schedule an appointment, BUT did not tell me is that it would be a $100.00 service call. Well, the disposal they wanted to sell me was $542.00. Yeah right, NO! The high-end disposals at Lowes, Homedepot and Supply.com are $185 - $200. I paid the $100.00 service call and ask that you don't make the mistake I made in not asking the cost of the mandatory service call. UPDATE. Within 10 mins of the above post. Environment Master called me regarding my complaint. They apologized for the misunderstanding and with grace and responsive customer service refunded my money. They have warranted at some later date my business. Give them a try, the technician was very responsive. Thanks for the help. read more

GREAT experience with Daniel Francis from Environmental Masters. Thank heavens we finally found this reputable and honest plumbing company. We have a home warranty that forced us to initially use another company (Drain Go) that did unnecessary and overpriced work that we had to pay for out of pocket ...and didn't even fix all of our issues after paying a price gouging $7425 during the Covid-19 pandemic. DrainGo said we had to have an outside cleanout access point installed ($3200) because they couldn't locate one to put a camera through. (Daniel of Environmental Masters later located SIX access points to main line under our house.) Environmental Masters would have charged a third of Drain Go's overinflated price. Our son is a doctor and had to have workable indoor plumbing so he could come home briefly to shower, eat and sleep before racing back to patients in the hospital. Yesterday, DrainGo returned to our house after we voiced our displeasure of still not having a workable kitchen sink after paying $7425 and they wanted another $3100 for "additional undetected" repairs. We declined any further services from them and instead contacted Environmental Masters ...where Daniel quoted us @$900 to complete the entire job. I was certain that one of my two 14 year old furnaces needed to be replaced. Waylon, the technician, came right on time, was very courteous, knowledgeable, and able to find the problem and fix it! Before the new system the temperature in our house almost never dropped below 76 degrees (80 degrees on a hot day), but our new system keeps our house quite cool. I had an AirScrubber installed by Environment Masters a few weeks ago in my "fixer-upper-farmhouse", and I honestly couldn't be happier. We immediately noticed a difference in the air. I had a electrical tankless water heater installed by Draingo around 6 months ago that never heated as hot as it could. Draingo and their terrible service stated they only installed them but did not service them. I am glad I was able to find a company with experienced and caring techs who took the time to troubleshoot the problem and find out what the issue was. My reason for trying this company was a 25 dollar off coupon. $240 dollars later I realized my mistake. I originally called Env Masters and was told I would be charged 98 plus parts which I agreed to, but the resulting bill was $240 since there were two other "flat fees" per problem reported. The 2nd easy problem would have cost me $5 at Lowes plus my time to fix so I would never have approved the $85 fee ahead of time. Called and talked to the manager and he said yes the invoice was right and he would not help. The employee that made repairs was easy to deal with and did exactly what was asked so no complaint there, but this was a bait and switch deal. read more
