My 2024 Cadillac Lyriq!

Well, I'm not sure what to do... As much as I love my leased 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, I'm quite disappointed with the Jessup Service Department. It turns out that the reason I have lost access to my Onstar - if I'm in an accident or need service on the road - I'm screwed and also the lack of the WiFi and mapping, is due to a back order of something called a Telematic Module and the worst part is that although it is on back order, they have no idea if it will ever be available again. I was told that they have been waiting for the same part for over 6 months for other drivers. I'm driving an unsafe vehicle since my Cadillac app doesn't work either. I know that this is going to sound silly, but they have used 2024's in their lot - too bad they can't give me one of those modules - just kidding - but with all the driving I do, I feel like they just don't care! But the worst part is that the service department doesn't give a damn about my safety! Any suggestions? Do I complain to KESQ? I even sent an email to Dan Jessup with no response as of yet! Please advise! Thanks, Charles

Jessup took great care of my XT4. They were fast, very responsive with updates and kind through the process. Thank you Sergio.

Here's the filter I picked up same day from Chavez.

I called a week to schedule transmission fluid and filter change. Over the phone I was quoted $239. My appointment was scheduled and car dropped off for service. I received a call a few hours later, the service advisor recommended several other services which I declined. She then called back again and stated the price for service would be $399, not $239 originally quoted. My car had already been dropped off and I rented a car to get to work, they had me. About 5 hours later, I called to check when my vehicle would be done. The service advisor (Melly) stated that the filter was on back order and nothing had been done to my vehicle. She had no clue when a new filter would be in. So dropping the car off and paying for a rental to get to work was all a waste of time and money. The manager then tried to blame me, stating the appointment was booked as a flush, that's why there is a price discrepancy and the parts were not available. How is a customer supposed to know to ask if a filter is in stock when calling to schedule a transmission service? When I asked why would I ever bring my truck here for service the manager offered to provide a discount to make up for the rental car fee. Why would ever trust Jessup GMC sagain? No accountability from them and they want to blame me. If I were the manager, I would have offered for the customer to leave the vehicle and provide a free loaner until the service was completed and provide reimbursement for the rental car. Why would you schedule a car for service without checking that you had parts? Why would you go as far as letting the customer drop their car off and pay for a rental? After leaving Jessup, I called Chavez. Chavez had all the parts in-stock. Nothing is on back order Chavez GMC has much better prices, and they are reliable!!! Go to a Chavez, not Jessup for your GMC service needs.

My rear shocks on my 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 were shot and Shaun had them replaced the same day. I've had leak issues with my aftermarket air bags and was told that the left side collapsed. So since I'm not pulling my horse trailer any longer, I decided to go back to stock and they removed the broken system. Now she's riding better than ever!!! With my truck at over 10 years old, I have correctly put my trust in Shaun and the Jessup family. Always impressed with their top shelf professionalism, superb mechanical repair work and terrific attitude. Happy truck = happy owner!!!

Absolutely unacceptable experience at Jessup Auto Plaza…read more I negotiated and finalized a deal on a $120,000 vehicle with a salesperson named David. He looked me in the eye and clearly stated, "This car is yours," and assured me multiple times that it would NOT be sold to anyone else. Based on his word, I stepped out briefly for lunch with my family, fully intending to return immediately to complete the purchase. After spending over SIX HOURS at this dealership and driving all the way from San Diego, I came back ready to finalize payment--only to be told the vehicle had been sold to someone else. This was not a misunderstanding. This was a complete failure to honor a confirmed agreement. What made the situation even worse was David's behavior afterward--he attempted to deflect responsibility, created unnecessary drama, and made misleading statements in front of his team instead of owning his actions. This shows a serious lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic respect for customers. A dealership that operates like this cannot be trusted. If their word means nothing, then neither does their business. Be extremely cautious when dealing with this place. Do NOT rely on verbal commitments, no matter how confident they sound. I lost an entire day, wasted hours of my time, and was treated with zero respect after a confirmed deal. This is not how a reputable dealership should conduct business.

Extremely disappointing and concerning experience with Shottenkirk Desert Lexus…read more I brought my Lexus LS460 in because the vehicle would not go over 30 mph. The dealership kept my car for several weeks, performed their diagnostics, and confidently advised that the issue was related to the injector driver/ECU. Based on their recommendation and supposed expertise, I approved a repair totaling over $5,300. That repair did NOT fix the original problem. What's even more concerning is that their own documentation shows they recommended "additional diagnosis" before completing the repair, yet they still proceeded with a costly fix that did not resolve the issue I brought the car in for. Now, instead of taking accountability, I'm being told they are "not sure" what the problem is and are recommending another $3,000+ in additional repairs. In other words, more trial-and-error--at my expense. This is not what you expect from a Lexus dealership. The issue wasn't properly diagnosed, the repair did not address the actual problem, and now the diagnosis has changed after the fact. At this point, I've paid over $5,000 and the original drivability issue remains unresolved. Being asked to continue paying for uncertain repairs after a failed initial diagnosis is unacceptable. I have escalated this matter to Lexus corporate and am pursuing further action. If you are considering service here, especially for major repairs, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any work. This experience raises serious concerns about diagnostic accuracy and accountability at this location.
