He took me to see over 30 properties and wrote offers on three houses before I was accepted. In every neighborhood we went to, Paul could point to houses he had sold and describe what the neighborhood was like. Paul was always very responsive to my calls and emails. He explained aspects of the home buying process to me whenever I asked, which was often, and wasn't afraid to say "I don't know" if my questions were outside his area of expertise. Honesty is important to me, and I appreciated that Paul was always honest with me, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear. After my offer on a house was accepted, Paul didn't disappear as I'd heard some agents might. Throughout the process, Paul was there to help me, and occasionally talk me through a crisis. I had some serious problems with my lender, and Paul really advocated on my behalf when the lender screwed up and delayed my closing. More importantly, he was available to answer my questions and brainstorm ideas when I literally had a truck full of stuff and no where to put it.
