This year I have been going through some medical issues, my nephrologist referred me to a rheumatlogist and I could never been more thankful than when I found Dr. Rhavi.. He really takes the time to listen to you, study your case...Nancy is the sweetest lady ever.. at their office you feel like you are being treated as a person, they care! I am tired of corporate doctors and nurses that don't care about you, and I have seen a lot of them this year.... they only give u 15 mins at ur appoinments, make u wait half an hr.. and they diagnose u for what they see in 5 mins on ur chart . I have been complaining about extreme fatigue, weekness and overall lack of energy for months, and NONE of my previos doctors, which had the same lab work I showed Dr. Rahavi would determine I had anemia. Dr. Rahavi immediately noticed my iron levels were very low and told me I had anemia, he referred me to an hematologist and suggested to get iron infusions. I am starting to feel much better now, I have had 2 iron infusions already and I can tell you I am seeing the light at the end of the tunel..I have more energy, feel motivated, active and I am back to feeling like my old self... Upon handing over my medical records, the receptionist said she was gonna need to keep them. I told her they were my only copies and asked that she make a copy of them or scan them into her system. She said, no, but I would have to give them to her or I couldn't see the doctor. She got pushy and agitated. Left the front desk with my medical records. Then she came back and said I would have to leave the office. I never got to see the doctor. There is definitely something odd going on in this office. I suspect they want to prevent their patience from getting second opinions. Perhaps they have some shady business practices. Or perhaps they are racist, as some others have suggested in these reviews. Whatever the reason is, I wouldn't trust him with my health.

What started as a small bump on my father's skin -- which he specifically expressed concern about -- was brushed off by Dr. Afrasiabi as "possibly an infected pimple." We trusted her professional judgment, and that was a mistake. That so-called "pimple" turned out to be a fast-growing aggressive cancerous tumor. We just spent 12 hours in the hospital between radiology scans and a three-hour surgery to remove the tumor. When we returned to this office last week, Dr. Afrasiabi didn't apologize, didn't show empathy, and didn't take any responsibility for the misdiagnosis. She acted as if getting cancer was no big deal. And mind you all 3 devices of EKG were broken the day of our visit, which needed to be done urgently to get clearance for his operation today on 12/3/25. The lack of compassion was shocking. No patient -- especially someone facing a cancer diagnosis -- should ever be treated this way. I am deeply disappointed that someone like this Dr. Afrasiabi is allowed to care for patients. This may have been prevented months ago if the doctor had listened to my father's concerns and taken his symptoms seriously. But now we are forced to spend the next week anxiously waiting for biopsy results, praying the cancer hasn't spread and hoping for the best possible news. If you're looking for a doctor who listens, shows empathy, and takes concerns seriously, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I have to check my map 3 times to find where the building was located, also looking at the directional movement of the sun to find my heading (hint: the building is east!). Voila, the building was right in between number 110, and 108, hidden by the staircase and trees. Stepping in, the decor was as expected from the outside as it is in the interior, however, the room did smell nice. I noticed that the office staff had mechanical keyboards and expensive gaming mouses. Cool, I thought. Having owned both as well, it is a godsend for graduate school, research and teaching academic classes online. The assistant got my vitals and was nice. Anna, the receptionist was pleasant throughout and had a rosy demeanor. The man himself, Dr. Kayaleh was a very charismatic physician who has excellent communication skills. He listened to my background, performed heart auscultations as well as listened to my lungs for any signs of asthma along with a visual examination of my throat. He palpated my abdomen for any signs of distension. Again, he was very cheery throughout. After listening to my life, he was very accommodating in terms of setting up appointments considering my circumstances and even recommended what I should do. He was my mother's primary physician for decades. Then she had a heart attack. When my mother was…read morereleased from the hospital after her heart attack, she was unable to get any treatment or support from him--not even a callback. Every time my mother suffered, we had to use Google to try to help her. He abandoned my mother during her entire illness and his indifference could have killed her. My mom has recovered, but the medical providers that treated her for her heart attack need him to prepare paperwork so they can get paid. They have been trying since August and he ignores them. He continues to do nothing and now they are coming after her for payment even though she had insurance--but the insurance won't pay without Dr. Martinez. What in the world.... He should be ashamed.

In February 2025 I had been having what I thought were severe chronic allergies for months and…read moremonths despite taking allergy meds and doing saline rinses. I would constantly be sneezing out globs of yellow or green phlegm which was always embarrassing at work! Finally my PCP suggested I see an ENT. I had to wait a month to see Dr. Balaker which was a bit of a bummer but thankfully she was worth the wait! She saw me immediately at my appointed time and she had a caring demeanor. She did an in-office nasal endoscopy which wasn't painful or uncomfortable at all and immediately diagnosed me with chronic severe sinusitis (sinus infection that hadn't been treated or resolved for months). She's very knowledgeable and professional! She prescribed two weeks of doxycycline antibiotics to ensure it cleared out the stubborn infection and said to follow up if my symptoms don't clear up. I didn't realize how much pressure was in my face until I took the first day of antibiotics-I felt immediately better! It cleared up by week 2 and never had to go back. Overall, it was a solid, smooth experience. Thank you Dr. Balaker!
