The rashes were so itchy that it kept her up all night and made her so sleep deprived during the day. She visited both her primary care doctor and a dermatologist, but unfortunately, the medications they prescribed didn't bring any relief. That changed when she saw Dr. Young. From the moment he looked at her rashes, he seemed to know exactly what was going on. He diagnosed her quickly and confidently, and the treatment he prescribed worked almost immediately. The rashes improved significantly after the first night. My mom finally experienced relief after weeks of discomfort and frustration. Dr. Young's expertise, attentiveness, and quick action made a world of difference. We're so thankful for his care and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate physician.

This has been without a doubt the best healthcare experience I have ever had. She's patient, thorough, and truly kind and compassionate. I have never felt that I have received this much value from consulting with any medical professional in my past. This has by far been the best healthcare experience and I am extremely confident in referring her to anyone who asks about a good Dr in Orange County. Also, I wanted to add that from the beginning her communication has been timely and professional and she is always ready for me right on our appointment time.

I have direct access to Dr. Dong and can text her whenever I have a question or concern, and she actually responds. I've never experienced that level of accessibility before. She has been able to get me in the same day or the next day whenever I've needed to be seen, which has completely changed how I experience healthcare. What stands out the most is how much time she spends with me. My appointments have been close to an hour long, and I never feel rushed. She listens carefully, answers all of my questions, and makes sure I understand everything. It's clear that she genuinely cares and takes the time to know me as a person, not just another patient. This model of care has been amazing and has completely changed the way I think about going to the doctor. I feel supported, heard, and cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for more personalized, attentive medical care.

It seemed like no one took the time to put together my various symptoms and treat me as a whole person; they were only treating my individual symptoms. I have had the exact opposite experience with Dr. Tsai. I am able to get appointments quickly, he never rushes, and in fact often takes the time to dig a little deeper to make sure all my issues are thoroughly addressed. I genuinely appreciate his approach to healthcare and finally feel like I have a doctor who cares.

When I was admitted to the ER, they were shocked that as my PCP, he didn't prescribe ANY medication earlier to prevent my condition from getting worse. Through what I learned at the ER, I realized how improperly I was cared for. A few days before going to the ER, Dr. Tsai just told me to take something over the counter. He constantly brushed off my concerns. If I was cared for properly, I wouldn't have had to go through the ER and go through the pain I am going through every day from a condition that could have 100% been prevented. Through almost a year of working with him, Dr Tsai never informed me or conducted preventative care appropriately. When I signed up for his service, he stated that he was "pretty much always available." I trusted him, but this turned out to be far from true. I would try to contact him through the member portal and hope for a response from him. Sometimes I would have to message and follow up more than once to get a response. He doesn't have a proper scheduling system or calendar, so you need to call repeatedly and leave voicemails and just hope that he will return your inquiry. It was a ton of playing phone tag and inability to reach him or schedule appointments to follow up. Please do yourself a favor and keep searching for a different doctor. Update: I reached out to Dr Tsai directly to express these sentiments, but he never responded. It was through this constant negligence and lack of communication that prompted me to feel obligated to warn other people looking for care. He didn't respond to me, but he responded immediately to this Yelp review. It's really sad to see a doctor trying prioritizing a business Yelp review or the impact he had on his own patient.

I just moved to the area so didn't have a physician here. Because I could not get to a doctor's office for the first weeks after arrival, the nursing center provided me with a primary care physician who sees patients at the home to coordinate my care. They also provided me with an orthopedic specialist (see my review of Henry Bruce MD). Candidly, I did not know what to expect from physicians assigned to me by the nursing home. The primary care doctor that they assigned to me is Cameron Khavarian, MD. Although I am not a physician, I was head of public relations and patient relations for a 1,000 bed medical center, as well as a consultant to several others. Having worked with so many physicians and handled all manner of doctor-patient issues I may have a different perspective (more critical with higher expectations) than the typical patient. With that in mind, I have to say that by any measure, Dr. Khavarian (Dr. K) is at the top of the list of the best physicians I have known or who have treated me. He is extremely knowledgeable and very responsive. And, he's a very nice guy! If you think that old fashioned "bedside manner," has vanished, you simply haven't met Dr. K. Couple that with today's technology, and Dr. K was a quick email or a phone call away when I or the nurses needed a change or addition to medications, or a different treatment regime. When it was important that I personally meet with him, he was always there within a very reasonable amount of time. Throughout my stay, and for the follow-up aftercare, he was patient and understanding, and was both a superb medical practitioner and advocate for me at the home and with my insurance providers. In addition to the broken leg (a tibia plateau fracture) and related conditions, Dr. K diagnosed a number of annoying persistent ailments I have endured and prescribed treatments that simply made it vanish. If you or a loved one is confined to a nursing home, Dr. K is the doctor you'll want and will genuinely appreciate. Watching other doctors at the home, and from my personal experiences, Dr. K is the best physician practicing at nursing homes. Dr. K's website is http://nursing-home-do.... He makes rounds at about a dozen Orange County health care facilities. The only downside is that Dr K's practice is limited to seeing people that are in nursing homes. If he took regular patients, he would be my primary care doctor. I am going to miss having him as my doctor. Incidentally, my leg healed and I was walking in 7 weeks rather than the 12 weeks that all the orthopedic surgeons at the hospital and the home said it would take before I would even be able to put weight on it. Not bad for a guy on Medicare!
