This kosher food store/ bakery offers a wide variety of baked goods, local produce and imported kosher delicacies from around the world...here you can find ice creams from America, lollies from South Africa and did I mention they have great bagels? The staff are really friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile and always have return customers.... In many way, Grandma Moses has become an institute with many of the locals bumping into one another in the aisle for a an impromptu catch up. They also have a breakfast and lunch menu...I had the veggie burger the other day and it was super delicious - I was super impressed.. A great place to get a great bagel and kosher treat... I will definitely be returning!

While you should't expect a New York bagel, the bagel we did enjoy nicely baked, with a good chew and was split, liberally coated with cream cheese, and each half was generously topped with smoked salmon - lox. My husband enjoyed his coffee (a flat white with sugar) and I did my usual diet Coke (don't judge). It was really good and I'd get a bagel there again anytime. If you're looking for other breads and sweets, you won't be disappointed either. Worth the stop and would do it again.

They cater to the large Jewish population in Bondi by preparing Kosher fish for collection every Thursday and for festivals and high holidays. Where else will you find a chippie that has beetroot & fetta or lentil salad and miso soup?! The shop itself is really cute, with its octopus's garden wavy ceiling painted with fishes and bubbles and pictures from all the local school kids on the walls and everything they have here is delicious, with bells on. Fish is picked up daily from the fish markets and I for one appreciate them saving me from that stinky place! This has gotta be the world's greatest fish & chip shop, for reals.

If you're walking by or in the neighbourhood be sure to check them out. Walking past today the green lipped mussels from NZ in the window definitely reeled me in.

I am the furthest from a vegetarian that you could get (I had ribs for lunch today,) so I was pretty skeptical about how a veggie burger would taste...my skepticism was unfounded because I have to admit it was a pretty good burger. I ordered an original Big Burger meal with no mustard and soy bacon. I thought blasphemy, bacon cannot be soy...but I was the blasphemous one for doubting the Lord (of the Fries.) For the fries I had the original fries (chunky + sweet potato available,) ordered Belgian mayo and Vietnamese mayo (spicy chili) on the side. The Belgian mayo was alright, but the Vietnamese mayo was bomb.com. The fries are double cooked and definitely some of the better fries I've had in Sydney...my favourite fries have been from Ogalo's, but Lord of the Fries gives it a run for its money...I will need to do some more taste testing with their other sauces. If you've been to America, I'd say that Lord of the Fries reminds me of a vegetarian Five Guys since the fries are very similar in taste and quality (minus Cajun fries) and they both offer burgers and hot dogs. The nostalgia may have influenced my review a bit...so take that into consideration. If you don't want to wait in a queue for a super long time, go in the arvo or after their official launch on Aug. 29th. Praise the Lord (of the Fries!!!) ***Update: I went again to try their hot dogs and ordered the Chicago dog. If you're a fan of hot dogs and a carnivore I would skip the hot dog and get the burger, it tastes bland and it's a bit "off," most likely missing the meat taste. If you're a vegetarian and really want a hot dog then order to your hearts content.

It feels like a one stop shop fo r a really good night, doesn't it? Theres heap s of wines to choose from, and you can visit the discount bin if youre looking for a bargain, or grab a bite to eat at the café - there are some great healthy options, looking pretty kosher, I think there'll even be some vegan alternatives and such. It also feels like a supermarket of up market goods, they're heap to peruse in the aisles, a surprising amount considering how small the store is. Whenever I come over and say lets go out for dinner, he says lets go to the deli and get something and to be fair they have everything you could want. What really makes this shop worthwhile is the gourmet foods and wine. The selection is pricy but impressive. We had a $40 bottle of red wine from there one evening and it was one of the best I've ever had. Although their products are expensive, the quality is the highest and you know you will enjoy what you have. Bottega Del Vino is like something which has escaped from Europe and is a cut above the average deli.
