This old school bakery brings back fond memories of pies and chocolate milk enjoyed at Watsons Bay with my Mum. That was at least 20 years ago. Today this very traditional patisserie still stands proud in Rose Bay. All the baking is done on site and a huge arrange of cakes, pies, sweets and breads are always too tempting to pass up. This bakery has had some impressive bakers pass through its doors - I read that famous pastry chef Adriano Zumbo did his apprenticeship here. If you're in the area then a trip to Dobinsons is a must. Like I did 20 years ago and still do today, grab lunch and head to the little beach tucked away behind Rose Bay shops. Unbeatable. read more
