DON'T GO TO AUTOBODY OF WILSON!…read more I got an interior door handle and needed them to install it. They would not talk to me unless I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, which was not the same day. I went back and got an estimate, which took at least 15 minutes. Then they told me that to install it, I'd have to come back A WEEK LATER! The truth is that the simply didn't want my business. It took longer to write up the estimate than to install the door handle. They literally told me that they would not have anyone available FOR 10 MINUTES until Tuesday of next week. I went yo White's and they installed it in less than 5 minutes! Hell will freeze over before I go back to Autobody of Wilson. No, the job I had was not worth thousands but one day I may have a bigger job and my business will go somewhere else.

Went in for a car inspection. That went well, and they made some maintenance recommendations. When…read moreI got back in my car to leave, I couldn't turn on the AC, or lower the windows or work the sunroof. Don't know if the breaker controlling those got jostled or what during the inspection, but I alerted the service writer, Sabrina, to the issue, who immediately reported it to the service manager. I explained that all of these things were working when I brought my car in, and how very uncomfortable it made me to have this problem after a mere inspection. They wheeled it right back to the shop, and resolved the problem either via a reset or securing something that was knocked loose. Appears to have been just an accident on the part of the tech. I would suggest testing the windows and AC anytime they work on or test electrical systems...and as consumers, we should always test at least those basics before we pull away. As a woman who has worked in car sales, and is also a consumer, I understand how it makes us feel like we have "sucker" stamped across our foreheads when the car must go in the shop...and I felt heard when I said as much to the service manager. He was respectful. They handled this well, and I would consider them for future work or when I am again in the market for a vehicle. I sat in the waiting area, which was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were friendly. I will also give major kudos to Sabrina. She was knowledgeable and kind, which I greatly appreciate!

Bubba and Kevin are two of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. The first time I used them they gave me a ride back to my house and when my car was ready they came and picked me up...You can't get any better than that. I just used them again when a mailbox jumped out in front of my car. There was no question where I was going to take my car to replace the side mirror. I took it in yesterday, they ordered a new mirror, and the next day my car was ready. Now get this.. I pulled out my credit card to pay only to discover they do not take credit cards. Bubba told me not to worry about it, take my car and pay them next week. How many times do you get service like that. I actually went to my bank, got cash and went back to pay them. After being assured multiple times of the honesty and integrity of his firm, the longstanding reputation of the agency in the community, and his assurances of personal oversight over his employees, he did make good on the oversight that occurred 8 months previously. With additional assurances that the employee involved was no longer associated with his company, he not only refunded the $1,000 insurance premium but also the $3,000 payment for the extended service warranty which should have been refunded but at a prorated amount. I do appreciate the owner taking the interest to attempt to make this situation right. I very much appreciate the full refunds. I would have appreciated much more an honest interaction about the capabilities and features of the car I was purchasing. I would have been more appreciative of timely attention to this matter. I will not be taking Mr. Pechesles up on his request that I call him directly and allow him to sell me my next car. You have only one chance to make a first impression. This dealership disappointed on the countless opportunities they had. I have satisfied, however, Mr. Pecheles's request upon delivering the checks. I have updated my review. Buyer beware.

I agreed. After keeping my car for an almost a week, they called and said it was more than they wanted to deal with. Apparently VW's are difficult to work on. I was ok with that part, but they still charged me $104 for the initial diagnostics. I would normally be ok with that, if I was the one that didn't want the work to be completed after their initial eval/diagnostics. But in this case, they backed out of the repair but still charged me the $104. So, I have my car still not fixed a week later, out the $104, and I still have to go somewhere else for them to do their diagnostics that I will have to pay them for a second time. I would not recommend Art's. Don't waste your time and money.
