He makes a point about saying that he won't make you look stupid or make fun of you, if you volunteer, and he doesn't. They have some more classical magic tricks and some more numbers oriented. But it's all quite fun. For some of them, we were really scratching our heads and thinking how did they do that!?? I would say don't try to work it out... and you won't lose out on the magic :-) The area they do the show is wide rather than deep, so if you are in the center, you'd have very good seats. I wasn't quite sure about how it would look from the ends. We weren't quite sure how the seats were assigned, but it seems to us they were set in advance. They give you pretty decent popcorn and even brought us a refill cuz we liked it and ate it all! Drinks etc are pricey as you would expect. They tell you that they will only take your order for the full show at the start but we saw them taking orders during a break. Our server was very nice and polite! I highly recommend doing this!

I know he was busy handing out flyers but he took a picture for the previous group with the magicians. He just said to me, "Get someone else to take the picture." One of the three magicians took a picture of me with the other two magicians, but it would've been nice to get all three in the picture with me. He got almost everyone involved and he had everyone in stitches at one point or another during the show. He had them all come up and sit on the floor in front of the stage. And when he called for the "big kids" to come up as well I had to go sit on the floor with my sons for a nice second row seat. He was one of the most entertaining magicians I have ever seen locally. He was able to get many of the kids involved both up on the stage and in the audience. The pace was perfect and the tricks were a good mix of funny and new and classic old school magic. Some of the adults were even brought into the act. Anybody that can keep the attention of 45 kids for 45 minutes and have them laughing and clapping and staring wide eyed at some of the tricks deserves to be called an entertainer.

We joke about the tricks that he did specifically for the bride and groom along with tricks done for our guests (about 40 people). Overall, Francis Menotti is very nice, flexible, well groomed and not pretentious. His jokes maybe a little corny, but the magic/illusions definitely makes up for it. My husband and I had our official ceremony in Vegas, but wanted to throw a fun party with our friends and family back home in Philadelphia. We had seen Francis perform at a couple of local shows and were thoroughly entertained and astonished by his fun demeanor and deft skills. We thought, "why not have him entertain our guests at the 'local' wedding party?" So glad we did! Francis showed up and immediately began blowing us away with a great, laid-back attitude mixed with some of the most unbelievable tricks I've ever seen (and I've seen magicians!) He is friendly, clever and incredibly talented, and would be appropriate for any type of function. He made it around to everyone (about 100 guests) and even customized a couple of special tricks just for us and our wedding (we even got to keep a personalized card deck he used for an amazing illusion)!
