Finally when she neared the age of 2 I realized I needed professional help Amillie came in and once again explained things even on our first session in a way I could understand and broke down behaviors for me. I actually have 2 giant breed Greater Swiss mountain dogs and she has helped me with training both of them. Mainly frustration reactivity for my younger female "puppy" and then being able to successfully loose leash walk both of them together (2 strong willed and physically strong, with a combined weight of ~200 lb) female dogs. Each time we meet I leave with so much information. She's been great and I only wish we started training them with Amillie when my girls were younger. About three months ago, Doozydog!Club took care of our baby, AmyJames, very well…read more Before this last time that they took care of our sweet baby, Linna was helpful in making sure that he was going to be well taken care, communicated with me well, etc., to make sure that the check in process would be smooth. She was thoughtful in this respect, & was attentive to our dog. Kristan was very kind to our lovely pet, was personable & attentive when we spoke on the phone, & was very accommodating with our baby as to having him at their dog day care center. On one night, our dog looked that he was not feeling well, & Kristan made a wise decision to have her staff member get our pet to a nearby pet hospital to get seen, after a few hours, baby was okay, & same staff member returned our sweet one to the dog club. Our sweet baby had trouble walking & was slipping on their smooth floor, & Kristan made sure to get some dog booties to fit his four legs to help to make him comfortable & to make him feel at ease with his walking, & this made a big difference on him. From our first visit to today, I am incredibly impressed. We shopped and tried a couple other daycares in the area but immediately knew Doozydog was the daycare for us. I believe the quality of this place is a direct reflection of outstanding management. Kristen sets high expectations of all of her staff and it's evident she has selected team members who genuinely care for every dog. I never have a single worry when dropping off my pups. When we first started utilizing DoozyDog, I only had one dog. Knowing the level of care provided by Kristen and her staff made it an easier decision to get a second dog. Now, both of my dogs get so excited when we arrive that they climb over each other to get inside. Our dogs always come home completely tuckered out and pass straight out after dinner, which tells me exactly how much fun they've had all day. Just look at these happy pup photos. They have extra activities on some days for example playtime bubbles and celebrating birthdays. The facility is clean, and I've been in a few other daycares where you can tell cleaning, sanitizing, and ventilation or circulation of air is lacking. The staff are wonderful, they quickly learned my pups' names and greet us warmly at every drop-off and pickup. I love the report card photos. Doozydog does have a camera system where you can watch live, which was a big plus to me initially. However, I learned fairly quickly I didn't have the need to check in as I know they are in the best hands. Kristen treats these dogs as if they were her own, works tirelessly to please every parent, and takes immense pride in her work. She has even called personally to check on my dogs when they have missed days due to illness. If Kristen ever left, I honestly don't know what we would do. The rates are reasonable, not the most expensive but not the cheapest. I would be suspicious of any daycare that offers lower rates because what are they cutting corners on? We love taking advantage of their end-of-the-month package deals. We've also utilized their individual or group walk packages. Their hours are great too for people with busy schedules. For boarding, we book a suite for maximum comfort. The staff strictly follow feeding and medication instructions and sends us updates, which I appreciate. Their grooming services (bath/brush, and nail trims) are also incredibly convenient to have in all in one spot. They truly do have it all! Even when we moved out of the downtown area we still utilize Doozydog even when other options were closer. We are so grateful for Kristen and the team, we can't recommend them enough!
