Avoid like the plague. Overpriced and not worth it. I brought in 12 pairs of shoes for repair. $475. OMG thats like buying a pair of shoes?! Whatever, I paid it because you have to pay up front. It had been a month, no phone call. I finally go in. Some of my shoes were done. They said they thought they called me for permission to charge EVEN MORE because of a cracked heel or some BS on 2 of the pairs. I agreed as they had completely torn them apart at this point. Another 2 pairs weren't done to specification, so I reminded them what should have been done. I asked them to CALL ME when it was done. Another month goes by, no call. I finally go back. I pick up those 2 pairs, one of them looks horrible. They still haven't started on the other ones, they didn't remember getting my permission to finish the repair. Its been another month and I still don't have the shoes. There's a place at Fashion Island that charges no more than $20 a pair. I'm going there from now on. read more

My shoes were supposed to be ready in 5 days and now its over two weeks. I paid $19.33 to have the ball of one shoe glued on and have gone there 4 times now to pick up my shoes and they said they ruined them, can't find them, are looking for them, you name it. They told me they would pay me for them and they were $80 bucks and told them just to give me half that day and that I would come later to pick it up and that I wanted the damaged shoes back. I got there after speaking to them at 11am arrived at 5pm giving them plenty of time and they just paid me the $19.33 I paid for the repair but not the $40 for the shoes and still did not have my shoes!!!! What a waste of my time. I dropped off my boots for a repair to the leather tongue, received a call that the repair was $35. No problem, go ahead. I was told they would be ready the following Tuesday. Which was 2 weeks ago. I called to find out if they were done, no answer, no call back. So I drove all the way back over there. Noticing the address on their tickets is wrong by several blocks. Go in to pick them up and they had not even started. 3 weeks and still not done. The place is a ghost town and they could not make the repair in three weeks, no call, no return calls. Don't bother with this place. read more

I came in on a Sunday (even though their sign says they are closed Sundays, they were open). My boot had a broken zipper, and they said they'll fix it for $15 by Thursday, and they'll call us when it's done. By Saturday, I called them, and they told me to come in later that afternoon. When I went in, the woman said something about how she started working on my boot since I had called that morning. They replaced the zipper on my boot, and for only $15! read more

I was in a pinch to have my shoes repairs and decided to try this location. The work is good, however I feel that they are EXTREMELY over priced. On average I have 5-7 pairs of shoes repaired each year and price wise this shop was nearly double both the cost and wait time. read more

Too bad Yelp doesn't give negative stars. NEVER take your shoes here!!! RIDICULOUSLY priced and service is AWFUL! I am a brand new customer and went in on a Friday morning to drop off two pairs of shoes to get new soles on them. Was told I would pay when I picked them up and they would be ready the following Tuesday. Went in the day after they were supposed to be done (Thurs) and only one pair was located. The girl working called their cobbler (didn't realize they sent the work out) and they had my other pair of shoes. Besides that, the pair they had "finished" had a huge glob of dried glue stuck to it! The girl offered to fix it (duh) and said they would call me when BOTH shoes were completed. I said fine. Monday rolls around and I go get my shoes. The glue glob was gone but now there is an impression of where it once was. I wasn't happy with it, but whatever, at least they found my other shoes. Go to pay - $89!!!! Just to re-sole?? I have had one of the shoes re-soled at another place, and they charged me no more than $18 for the pair!! Long story short, since I had no choice, I paid the girl and asked to leave a message for the owner. Two days later, I get a call from a guy who is actually the manager. Very nice, but he tells me that the guy who took my shoes is new and didn't charge me ahead of time LIKE THE SIGN ON THE DOOR STATES. I asked how that is my fault? I've never been there before and it's not my responsiblity to know what the company policies are. They basically FORCED me into paying $89!!! Told him this is super unethical. Their policy is to quote pricing upfront, and their employee failed to do so. On top of that, the customer is being charged an obscene amount AFTER waiting an extra week to have sub-par work done! I wanted at least half of my money back! He said the best they can do is a $15 refund or $20 off MY NEXT SHOE REPAIR. Really???? NEVER GO TO THIS STORE. EVER. YOU WILL THANK ME. read more

I took my purse for a estimate on sewing a small part and putting zipper handle back on.Week went by. I called. The price was same as I bought purse for. I said no . Ill pick it up. Went to pick up. Was in bag taped up. Was fixed. I said I Did Not Want it fixed. We went back in forth, said I'm not paying. I ended up paying a small price. I ran out to car to get $, on my return purse out of bag on counter. Paid and left. Week later went to carry purse and the zipper was cut loose. I could see the cut on the leather. So when I ran to get $ ,she cut it . But she cut wrong part . It was another place they fixed.plus inside seam ripped. I inspected before I took in to be fixed for ALL WORK TO BE DONE ON IT. Shoes were supposed to be ready on Friday. Went Saturday and they had lost my shoes. Said they would call - didn't. Went the following Tuesday - still lost. By Wed. they were found. One big problem - the stitching wasn't done completely. In fairness, I didn't have to pay for the stitching - they glued it instead. After 5 days of wearing the glue has come apart. I came to this place because it was the closest shoe repair and I assumed that all shoe repair places are equal- I was wrong. When I dropped my shoes off (to have one crystal replaced and some parts reinforced which is definitely a small job) I was surprised that I was quoted $18.95 for what was probably a ten minute fix. I did it anyways for convenience and I regret it. When I picked my shoes up, the job was done with nothing extra. I suppose I hoped that for the price my shoes would come back cleaner.. Any ways, the guy retrieved my shoes and said $20. I couldn't find my ticket and said "I was told $18." He insisted on $20 and we went back and forth. I know it was only over one dollar, but I already felt that $18 was far too much for the small thing I had done. I did not budge and finally the man said "ok $18.95" and set the business' portion of my ticket on the counter. I look down and see that $18.95 is written on the ticket that he was just looking at! I am so upset that this business would not only over charge me, but also blatantly try to increase my price and rip me off for nothing! NO THANK YOU I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. read more
