Everyone is friendly and nice and does work with you on your scheduling issues. There could be improvements on returning calls, wait times in the office and at the surgery center. The main issue I had was their processing of patients in the surgery center. I like my eye doctor and the staff at my local office in Easley. read more

Worst experience. Doctor left the room without even saying anything, DO NOT do the rebate for contacts because you're not seeing that and no one's going to help. They will redirect you until you give up. read more

Timely appointment all staff friendly the shop was clean and helpful without being pushy. I thank then for their patience with me as an senior and will definitely return read more

Their equipment was not disinfected between patients. Did not notice until she had me put my eyes up to the eye equipment and I couldn't read the letters. I pulled my head back and there was make-up, grease and germs from a previous patient. it was never disinfected. Very disgusting. I got an eye infection 2 days later from the germs, grease and make-up. Its been over a month and it is still healing up. Terrible experience. will never go back. 02/2024 read more

I had my first appointment Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2024, with Dr. Mequio. It was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend their services. The Optical technician, (if that's what they're called) was so thorough and professional. Her name was Lisa. Dr. Mequio, was also kind, thorough, and professional. And when I went to pick out some prescription frames, Leah helped me and was so sweet and helpful. She had already looked at what my insurance would cover with new frames and lens. That's never happened to me before when looking for new glasses. It was great customer service. My appointment was at 8:00am, so I didn't have a long wait time. I just noticed where someone complained about how long they waited. read more

Awful! They overbook and are slow. I had an early appointment time and they were 35 minutes behind by 930. Once seen the experience only got worse. The technician checking my vision seemed rather incompetent. Did test with my glasses on and had 20/20 vision. We checked to see if Rx needed to be tweaked any however she could not replicate my Rx on the optical lens device, nothing she tried was 100% clear. She took my glasses to check the Rx I gave to her and came back stating the glasses were not correct to that Rx,, I have 2 pair of glasses to that RX and see fine with them. Never could get it where letters were truly clear, maybe lens dirty? Twenty minutes later the optometrist showed up. He was very slow and impersonable. They game me a new Rx to get new glasses as mine were pretty wore out. However the Rx they game me appears nothing like my last RX which I know is good. I have no faith it is correct and plan on going somewhere else for another vision check. Getting the Rx was an adventure as well; once exam finished had to go to optical dept and sign in and wait again just to get a print out of the Rx then wait again in line to check out. I won't be a repeat customer. read more

Please save yourself the time of not going to this eye Dr. They wrote a bad prescription, will not take responsibility for their mistake, and blame it on the patient for not finding the frames at there office and having the glasses made there. We had another Dr. in another one of Jervey Group offices do a prescription that is very very different. Theresa also put us off and said she will investigate and call within 2 days, a week later I called again and left another message. Theresa finally called back to blame her assistant for her not calling back like she said she would. This is the run around you get especially from Theresa, she also blamed Dr. Catherine Bowden for Theresa's own argumentative, blaming, uncaring actions. Said Dr. Bowden agreed. I thought Dr. Bowden was better than that. Stay away from the office!! read more

Worst wait time I have ever seen, even had to wait 25 minutes to check out. Customer service is non-existent, will never go back again.

I have taken my dad there twice and both times the wait time was crazy. First time we waited a hour&half for a five minutes visit with the doctor. Second time 2 hour wait for a 5 minute visit with the doctor.really get a clue on how to schedule people. read more

My family went here because our old eye doctor sold her business and this was a close eye office with our insurance. All 4 family members had exams, and not one is satisfied with the glasses and contact lenses received. I had to tell them my prescription for contacts, and had a heated discussion with the specialist when she got an attitude when I pointed out that the prescription she had was not what I am wearing, but was copied from an ancient box I brought in just to show the type and size I wore. During my routine exam, during the dilation, the doctor found some hemorrhages, and told me about them. He did nothing extra to my eyes, other than say he wanted a photo for reference (my old doctor also did this, just to have them, sonit didn't seem unusual). Later, I got a large bill, and called the number on it to inquire about the cost (the number was not to the office I went to). The person at billing tells me my exam was deemed medical, and sent to my medical insurance. I disputed this, as nothing extra was done, the exam actually wasn't even completed, as I had to tell them my contact prescription myself based on my last prescription. My vision insurance pays 100%, btw, and I would have no extra charges since they required payment in full prior to ordering glasses or contacts. The doctor I saw isn't even with them anymore. My file has now been sent to their CEO for review, according to the billing clerk I spoke with. What a mess this place is. Never again. read more

If I could rate a no star I would. This office has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in an office setting. I was there for my first appointment for 3 1/2 hours because the front desk was not communicating with the eye glass specialist what type of insurance I had and they had problems figuring out if they should bill it to my eye insurance or medical. The front desk receptionist asked me the same questions multiple times as if she wasn't there mentally during check in and check out. Fast forward several weeks I try to contact them on their website to confirm my follow-up appointment and a week later I still have not received a response back. So, I try calling them again and after waiting on hold forever I choose the option to leave a message for someone to call me back. On the message I informed them all I needed was to confirm my appointment day and time because I didn't have the paperwork anymore because I filed it. 5 hours later they call me and leave a message saying "We are sorry we missed your call, please call us back" and never left the information on my voicemail that I asked for. Needless to say I have asked for my husband to drive up there since nobody seems to know how to communicate at all in that building to cancel my appointment and I will be going somewhere else from now on. read more

I was in there in Feb. of this year and saw Ballinger. I don't think he gave me a proper exam. He changed my glasses and I have not had good vision since. A lot of things are blurry and when I read the newspaper I have sharp pains in my eyes and head. I have trouble seeing some things. I have been under the care of Dr. Choe in Greenville also, but can not get appointment right now. I need to see someone to get my eyes in better shape. I do not wish to see Ballinger. I really need to know what to do because I spent enough money thus far. Jane Griffin read more

Absolutely the best. Staff are very professional yet friendly, helpful, courteous. Wait times are a little long but once you get in the Dr. takes as much time with you as the patients that delayed your visit!. My recent visit was an pseudo emergency ( wasn't blind but had a horrible pain in my) and they worked me right in ASAP and didn't act as if I was an imposition. Now that's what I call service. read more
